Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2016;34(9):667-669
Objective To explore the clinical features, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of pertussis in neonates. Methods Clinical data from 17 neonates with pertussis conifrmed by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of Bordetella pertussis, were retrospectively analyzed. Results In 17 neonates ( 8 males and 9 females), 2 neonates were premature. The age at onset was from 15 to 27 days. Thirteen cases had a history of close contact with coughing patients, 4 cases had nasal congestion and runny nose in the early stage, 5 cases had typical spastic cough, one case had cough with inspiratory“whoop”, 6 cases had lfushing in face after severe cough, 7 cases had severe cough with cyanosis, 2 cases had systemic cyanosis before hospitalized, 7 cases had regurgitation after cough, and 3 cases had fever. Fifteen cases had increased peripheral blood white blood cell count, ( 12 . 57-79 . 63 )× 109/L, with lymphocyte at 45 . 1% -75 . 2%. The PCR copy number of pertussis was 7 . 12 × 102-1 . 04 × 108/mL. Seventeen neonates were all treated with intravenous infusion of erythromycin, and all of them had a signiifcantly improvement, and no death case. Conclusions Neonates with a history of contact with coughing patients, paroxysmal cough and increased of peripheral blood leucocyte presented as lymphocyte increase, need to be alert to pertussis, and relative examination should be taken as early as possible.
2.Effects of Preoperative Anxiety on the Recovery of Anesthesia and Postoperative Analgesia in Patients undergoing Elective Laparoscopic Ovarian Cystectomy
Journal of Kunming Medical University 2016;37(10):100-103
Objective To investigate the effects of preoperative anxiety on the recovery of anesthesia and postoperative analgesia in patients undergoing elective laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy. Methods A total of 87 patients were enrolled who were undergoing elective laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy during July 2015 to June 2016.State-Trait Anxiety Inventory-1 was administered to the patients:patients with anxiety were included in the high-anxiety group (Group H) and patients witouth anxiety were included in the low-anxiety group (Group L) We observed the recovery of anesthesia and postoperative analgesia of the patients in two groups. Results In group H,the extubation time, the time for the Aldrete score to reach 9,were significantly longer;more agitation were found;and more fentanyl and parecoxib were needed. The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The age,BMI,operation time, anesthesia time of the patients in the two groups had no statistically significant differences (P>0.05).Conclusion High anxiety has a negative effect on recovery from anesthesia and on postoperative pain control in patients undergoing elective laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2001;0(03):-
Objective To study imaging features of neuronal tumors, and to evaluate the value of CT and MRI in diagnosing these tumors. Methods The CT and MRI studies in 10 patients with pathologically proved neuronal tumor were retrospectively reviewed. Results (1) CT showed a mixed attenuation cystic solid mass with calcification in 3 gangliogliomas; The mixed signal intensity on T 1 or T 2WI with heterogeneous contrast enhancement was common in ganglioglioma. (2)Three central neurocytomas had mixed signal intensity. (3)Three dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumor (DNT) had decreased signal intensity on T 1 weighted MR images and well demarcated increased signal intensity on T 2 weighted images without peritumoral edema and calcification. Prominent MR imaging features were a gyriform configuration on T 1 or T 2WI. The tumor contrast enhancement was not common; (4)A desmoplastic infantile ganglioglioma (DIG) was located in the frontal and parietal lobes, appearing as cystic tumors with a solid cortical component enhanced intensely. Conclusion Some neuronal tumors possess of specific imaging features, but diagnosis of the tumor with imaging modalities alone may be difficult. Therefore, combined clinical history could help to establish a correct diagnosis.

Journal of Kunming Medical University 2013;(12):110-113
Objective To observe clinical application of the apparent Shikani laryngoscope in difficult airway, so as to provide reference for basic-level hospitals to deal with difficult airway. Methods 50 patients with difficult airway were randomly divided into 2 groups:Shikani laryngoscope group (S) that direct laryngoscope group (M) . After conventional induction, patients in two groups were given endotracheal intubation with different intubation tools by the same anesthesiologist, then the intubation time and the one-time success rate of intubation were compared between two groups. The hemodynamics of patients, were observed in two groups, the HR,SBP,DBP and SPO2 at before (T0),during (T1),2 min after (T2) and 5 min after intubation (T3) were recorded. The complications including gingival and oral mucosa bleeding, sore throat, hoarseness were also recorded in two groups. Results During the process of intubation, the hemodynamic changes of patients had statistically significant difference between T0 and T1, T2,T3 subgroups ( <0.05),T2 and T3 subgroups ( <0.05) . The intubation had less influence on hemodynamics of patients in group S than M group, but the SPO2 and T0 had no significant difference between two groups ( >0.05) .Comared with M group, the one-time success rate of intubation was higher, and the intubation time was shorter in S group and there were significant differences ( <0.05) . There was no significant difference in the intubation complications between the two groups ( > 0.05), and this may be associated with small sample cases. Conclusion Compared with ordinary laryngoscope, Shikani laryngoscope has incomparable advantages in handling difficult airway and is convenient to apply,so it is worth popularizing in basic-level hospitals.
