Objective To study the effectiveness of integrative therapy on serum IL-8 and IL-17 in patients with chronic urticaria. Methods According to the digital table,126 patients with chronic urticaria were randomly divided into the two groups, the control group (n =63 cases) and the observation group (n =63 cases). The patients in the control group were treated through cetirizine hydrochloride and ebastine, while the patients in the observation group were treated through cetirizine hydrochloride and ebastine plus traditional chinese medicine. They were treated for 4 weeks.Serum IL-8 and IL-17 were detected before and after treatment. Results The effective rates were 77.8% in control group and 9 5.2 % in the observation group with a significant difference between the two groups (x2 =4.78,P < 0.05).Serum IL-8 and IL-17 in two groups were significantly reduced, and after treatment, the observation group decreased more significantly(t =2.92,3.06,both P < 0.05).Conclusion Integrative therapy can significantly decrease serum IL-8 and IL-17 in patients with chronic urticaria.
