1.A literature analysis of adverse drug reactions of Imipenem/cilastati

Objective To analyze the adverse drug reactions of Imipenem/cilastati for the treatment of diseases in recent year and supply useful information for the rational application in clinical therapy.Methods The literatures since 1995 about adverse drug reactions of Imipenem/cilastati from the data-base (CNKI) were collected and then the data were analyzed.Results The incidence rate of adverse reactions of Imipenem/cilastati in clinical therapy was raised and many in vivo systems were damaged from the adverse reactions.According to the actual situation of adverse reactions, those treatment can be given to get better clinical results, which was given oxygen, adjusting the dosage and dosing interval,drug withdrawal and other treatment;patients whose nervous system damage was given a small amount of sedatives or antipsychotics, patients whose cardiovascular system damage were given nutrition, renal dysfunction were treated with hemodialysis treatment.Conclusion It is necessary to use Imipenem/cilastati rationally to avoid the adverse drug reactions.
2.Clinical Observation on 67 Early Pregnancy Women Treated by Medicinal Abortion Combined with Fugong Decoction

Objective To observe the effect of Fugong Decoction(Decoction for Uterine Restroation) as assistant therapy of medicinal abortion for early pregnancy.Methods The 134 early pregnancy women who were volunteers of medicinal abortion were randomized into a treatment group and a control group with 67 cases in each.The control group was treated with Mifepristone and Misoprostol while the treatment group treated with Fugong Decoction based on these drugs.Totally they were treated for 7 days.The abortion effect,volume of vaginal bleeding,bleeding time,and time of urine human chorionic gonadotrophin(HCG) changed to negative were observed.Results In the treatment group,the time of discharge of gestational sac,volume of vaginal bleeding,bleeding time,time of urine HCG changed to negative,and abortion effect were all better than those of the control group,with significant difference(P
3.Blood transfusion of 8 earthquake victims with severe crush syndrome

Objective To study the effect of blood transfusion on earthquake injuries with crush syndrome in WenChuan earthquake.Methods The amount of red blood cell suspension given to the earthquake victims were studied. The transfusion effect, Hb concentrations, and capillary hemorrhage of tissues of the injuries were also observed.Results Two victims, who underwent amputation surgery and cerebral hemorrhage operation, received a relatively small amount of transfusion, and showed a good transfusion effect and prognosis. While the other 6 victims, who underwent amputation surgery, surgical debridement, or continuous renal replacement therapy, received a large amount of blood, and showed a bad transfusion effect and prognosis.Conclusion The amount of blood transfusion in patients with crush syndrome was correlated negatively with the outcome.
4.Risk factor analyses of positive margins of conization specimen and post-cone residual disease in patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 3

[Abstract ] Objective Positive margins of conization specimen for cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade (CIN)3 is a high risk factor of continuous cervical lesions or progress to early invasive carcinoma .The aim of this study was to evaluate the risk factors of positive margins of conization specimen and post-cone residual disease in hysterectomy specimens following conization for CIN 3. Methods Clinical data from 218 patients with CIN 3 underwent hysterectomy after conization from 2001 to 2013 were analyzed retro-spectivly.Multi-factors logistic regression was performed to determine the independent risk factors for positive margins of conization specimen and post-cone residual disease. Results Fifty five cases(25.2%) had positive margin of conization specimen , and the independent risk factors were unsatisfactory colposcopy (OR:5.18,95%CI:2.49-11.10), width of conization specimen smaller than 2 cm (OR:7.68,95%CI:2.31-28.10) and pathology of CIN3 with carcinoma in situ (OR:4.38,95%CI:1.67 -12.10).Forty seven patients (21.6%) had post-cone residual disease , and the independ-ent risk factors were length of conization specimen smaller than 1.5 cm (OR:2.45,95%CI:1.12-5.69), pathology of CIN3 with carci-noma in situ (OR:4.96,95%CI:2.17-11.70) and status of coniza-tion margins (OR:4.34,95%CI:1.95-9.78). Conclusion The satisfaction of colposcopic examination, conization specimen di-ameters including width and length , CIN3 with carcinoma in situ and status of conization margins could contribute to positive margins of conization or residual disease in subsequent hysterectomy specimens .More attention should be paid to such a group of CIN 3 patients clinically.

Objective To investigate the impact of the gestational diabetes mellitus and abnormal glucose challenge test (GCT) on macrosomia. Methods Clinical data of 8656 pregnant women who had antenatal care and delivered in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the First Hospital of Peking University from Jan 1995 to Mar 2001 were retrospectively analyzed. Toutongling Capsule is a Chinese herbal preparation developing from an ancient formula processed by modern technology. Previous clinical studies have shown that Toutongling Capsule exerts a good effect on vascular headache, tonic headache and traumatic headache. To further explore its pharmacological mechanism, the effect of Toutongling Capsule on cerebral vessels and blood viscosity in experimental dogs was observed. The results showed that Toutongling Capsule can decrease cerebral vascular resistance obviously and increase cerebral blood flow, with a good dose-effect relationship. As compared with Yangjiao Granule, Toutongling Capsule possesses a similar effect on blood viscosity but stronger effect on dilatation of cerebral vessels and increase of cerebral blood flow. Both Toutongling Capsule and Yangjiao Granule have no effect on blood pressure and ECG.
8.Human urine-derived stem cell transplantation for the treatment of chronic kidney disease in rats

BACKGROUND:Urine-derived stem cels are most likely to come from the kidney tissue, and therefore, these cels are more adaptable to kidney microenvironment, providing a new option for the treatment of kidney diseases.
OBJECTIVE: To explore the therapeutic efficacy of human urine-derived stem cels on chronic nephropathy rats.
METHODS:The fresh urine samples of healthy people were colected, and then human urine-derived stem cels were extracted and cultured in vitro. Twenty Sprague-Dawley rats were used to prepare chronic nephropathy models, and given injection of human urine-derived stem cel suspension (experimental) or normal saline (control) into the renal cortex, respectively. Another 10 healthy rats were used as controls. Therapeutic effects on renal function were assessed by detection of serum creatinine level and glomerular filtration rate in the three groups. The kidney tissues of rats were taken and observed histomorphologicaly in each group.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Human urine-derived stem cels were found to remarkable improve rat’s renal function as wel as reduce the histomorphological changes in the kidney tissues of rats. Compared with the control group, the serum creatinine level was decreased while the glomerular filtration rate was increased significantly in the experimental group; CD68 expression and infiltration of interstitial inflammatory cels were also markedly reduced in the experimental group. To conclude, human urine-derived stem cels can improve the renal function of chronic nephropathy rats.
9.Analysis of Vancomycin serum concentration and adverse reaction in 213 neonates

Objective To investigate the relationship of Vaneomycin serum concentration and drug adverse reactions (ADRs) in neonates.Methods Two hundred and thirteen neonates who were treated by Vancomycin and had their serum concentration monitored were recruited.The number of cases which had liver,kidney and hearing damage after treatment was calculated.The correlation between 3 different serum concentrations (<5 mg/L,5-10 mg/L,> 10 mg/L) and ADRs were analyzed.Results The mean level of Vancomycin in serum was (4.36 ± 4.99) mg/L The total incidence of ADRs was 17.8% (38/213 cases).The main ADRs were liver damage and hearing impairment,whose incidences were 9.9% (21/213 cases) and 7.5% (16/213 cases),respectively,and they were were significantly higher than kidney danage (0.5%,1/213 cases) (x2 =19.172,P =0.000;x2 =13.785,P =0.000).There was no significant difference be-tween the inidence ratio of liver damage and that of the hearing impairment (x2 =0.330,P =0.566).The ADRs ratio among 3 different serum concentrations was 17.0% (24/141 cases),17.6% (9/51 cases) and 23.8% (5/21 cases).There was no significant difference between the ADRs ratios and distribution of different serum concentrations (x2 =0.576,P =0.750).Moreover,the ADRs rates didn't increase along with the serum concentrations (Z =0.648,P =0.517).Except for aspartate transaminase,the indicators of liver and kidney function varied significantly after vancomycin treatment (P <0.05).But there was no clinical significance because the mean value was in normal range.By Bivariate Correlation analysis,Vancomyein serum concentration had no significant influence on liver and kidney function (P > 0.05).Conclusions Neonates treated by Vancomycin had reatively high ratio of the liver damage and the hearing impairment.There is no significant correlation between Vancomyein serum concentration and ADRs in neonates.
10.Influence of Moxibustion Serum on the Expression of Fas bcl-2 mRNA and Protein of EL-4 Lymphoma Cells

Objective: To observe the influence of moxibustion sertma of mice on the expression of Fas, bcl-2 mRNA and protein of EL-4 lymphoma cells in vitro. Method: The EL-4 lymphoma cells were cultivated for 24 h in the moxibustion serum of mice. The expression of Fas and bcl-2 mRNA of EL-4 lymphoma cells were detected by in-situ hybridization method, and the protein expression of Fas and bcl-2 were observed by the immuocytochemistry method. Results: The expression of bcl-2 mRNA and protein decreased, and the expression of Fas rnRNA and protein increased significantly in EL-4 cells, which were cultivated in the moxibustion serum compared those cultivated in normal mice serum (P<0.05). Conclusion: Moxibustion serum could down-regulate the bcl-2 mRNA and protein and up-regulate the Fas mRNA and protein of EL-4 cells.
