Objective:To study the effect of flavonoids extracts from semen Astragali complanati (FAC) on the growth of hepatocellular H22 cells and elucidate its action mechanism. Methods:The mouse model bearing H22 tumor cells was established. The effects of FAC on the growth of xenografted H22 tumor, the immune organ, survival time, phagocytic function of macrophages, and lymphocyte transformation in tumor-bearing mice were observed. Results:The growth of H22 transplanted tumor was significantly inhibited by FAC at high, middle and low doses,compared with normal control group (P<0.05). The tumor-inhibiting ratio in cyclophosphamide (CTX) group was similar with that in FAC high-dose group (P>0.05). FAC markedly elongated the survival time of tumor-bearing mice. The high, middle and low doses of FAC elongated the survival time of tumor-bearing mice by 64.9%, 56.7% and 28.1%, which were significantly different with control group (P<0.01). The high, middle and low doses of FAC greatly increased the thymus index and spleen index of tumor-bearing mice (P<0.05, vs control) and elevated the phagocytic function of macrophages and lymphocyte transformation capability (P<0.01, vs control). The effect of CTX on immune function of tumor-bearing mice was opposite with FAC. The difference between CTX group and control group was significant (P<0.01). Conclusion: FAC inhibits the growth of H22 hepatoma, elongates the survival time, and elevates the non-specific immune function of tumor-bearing mice, indicating that FAC maybe exert its anti-tumor effect via regulating immune function of tumor-bearing mice.

The treating group was administered with DHE after the establishment of VaD model. Objective To evaluate the effectiveness and predictive value of high-resolution manometry(HRM) for POEM in treating achalasia. Methods A total of 84 achalasia patients categorized into subtypes by HRM, who also underwent POEM, were enrolled in our study. Eckardt score, Barium esophagogram and HRM were performed before, 6 months and 1 year after POEM. Results POEM was successfully performed in all 84 patients. No perforation occurred in any patient. The Eckardt scores and esophageal diameter after POEM significantly reduced compared with those before(P<0. 05). The 4s-IRP decreased from 33. 4±9. 0 mmHg (1 mmHg =0. 133 kPa) to 14. 6±3. 8 mmHg six months after POEM (P<0. 05) and to 16. 4±3. 9 mmHg one year after POEM (VS preoperate, P<0. 05). The LESP before treatment was 41. 8±15. 4 mmHg, decreasing to 18. 4±7. 1 mmHg six months after POEM (P<0. 05) and 20. 7±7. 6 mmHg one year after POEM (VS preoperate, P <0. 05) . Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of composite milk clotting enzyme capsules in children with functional dyspepsia.Methods A multicenter,randomized,open-label clinical trial was carried out in 4Guangzhou hospitals during Feb.2012 to Mar.2013.Children with functional dyspepsia on basis of Rome Ⅲ criteria were enrolled and treated with composite milk clotting enzyme capsules.Total symptom score and drug-related adverse reactions were evaluated after one-week and two-week therapy.The treatment outcome were divided into very effective,fairly effective and ineffective according to the symptom score changes.Superiority test was done for effectiveness of the treatment based on efficacy difference by 10％ regarded as superiority.Results Two hundred and one children were enrolled.One hundred and ninety-six children completed the study as planned.After two-week therapy,better effective rate and total effective rate were 68.88％ and 87.76％,higher than those of one-week therapy (27.04％,76.02％) (U =2.935,P ＜ 0.05).The lower limits of 95 ％ confidence interval of difference in symptoms improve rate,better efficacy rate and symptom score decrease rate between two-week and one-week therapy were more than 10％,and two-week therapy was superior to one-week therapy.No significant drug-related adverse reaction was found during the study.Conclusions Composite milk clotting enzyme capsules can improve functional dyspepsia symptoms significantly.The effectiveness of two-week of treatment is better than that of one-week treatment.No obvious drug-related adverse reaction is observed.
