Objective To explore the expression of calcium binding protein (S100A11) and its clinical significances in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissue and blood plasma. Methods The expressions of S100A11 in 46 cases of HCC tissues and their paracancerous tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. The relationship between S100A11 expression level in HCC tissues and clinical parameters was analyzed. The S100A11 expression levels in blood plasma of HCC patients (62 cases), liver cirrhosis patients (32 cases), chronic hepatitis patients (30 cases) and healthy subjects (30 cases) were detected. The sensitivity and specificity of S100A11, alpha fetoprotein (AFP) and γ-glutamyl transpeptidase Ⅱ (GGT-Ⅱ ) in HCC diagnosis were compared. Results The positive rate of S100A11 in HCC tissue (78. 3%) was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissues (19. 6%) (P<0. 05). The expression level was correlated with the degree of differentiation, the lower differentiation degree with the higher expression level. According to ROC curve, if the cutoff points for diagnosis was set at 7. 3 μg/L, the positive rate of S100A11 in HCC patients blood plasma was 30. 6% , which was significantly higher than that in the blood plasma of patients with liver cirrhosis, patients with chronic hepatitis and healthy persons (P<0. 05). There was no correlation between S100A11 and AFP or GGT-Ⅱ in the blood plasma of HCC patients. These three indicators were complementary in HCC diagnosis, and the diagnostic sensitivity increased to 84.5% with combined detection. Conclusions S100All may be related to HCC genesis and development. The HCC diagnostic sensitivity may be increased with combined detection of S100All ,AFP and GOT- Ⅱ.

Purpose Full-term fetal weight is closely related to the choice of delivery mode and perinatal mortality rate. Our aim is to explore the feasibility of magnetic resource image (MRI) with three-dimensional reconstruction and volume measurement in estimating fetal weight and its accuracy compared to ultrasound (US) examination.Materials and Methods Analyzed the MRI volume measurement of 61 fetuses delivered within 7 days after M RI and ultrasound examination in our hospital between November 2013 and March 2016 using MRI three-dimensional reconstruction. The fetal weight estimated by MRI was calculated by the equation developed by Baker et al and the US estimation of fetal weight was performed according to Haldlock et al,the MRI and US estimation of fetal weight were compared. Results 60 fetuses were included and qualified MRI three-dimensional reconstruction models, one was excluded because of frequent movement. The MRI estimation of fetal weight and the birth weight correlated significantly (r=0.927,P<0.05).The MRI estimation of fetal weight had a lower percentage of random error than US (3.4% vs 5.0%,P>0.05),as well as mean absolute error [(172+ 114) g vs (227± 171) g,P<0.05],but a higher percentage of relative error ≤ 10% than US (95.0% vs 78.3%,P<0.05),with an underestimation in 90.0% fetuses compared with birth-weight.Concision Full-term fetal weight estimation by using MRI with three-dimensional reconstruction and volume measurement is feasible and more accurate than ultrasound, but lower than the actual weight. This method can be applied in estimating fetal weight in the case of ultrasound examination limited.

Objective To investigate the expression alteration and significance of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA)by GWAS(Genome-wide association study)between Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)and its adjacent normal esophageal tissues. Methods lncRNA and mRNA differential expression in 6 pairs of ESCC and matched non-cancerous tissues were screened by microarray assay. The target genes were predicted. Finally , GO(Gene Ontology)and Pathway analysis was used for the further research of lncRNA. Results A total of 680 lncRNA and 1472mRNA were differentially expressed at more than two-fold change(P ≤ 0.05,with 161lncRNA and 653mRNA up-regulated,519lncRNA and 819mRNA down-regulated between ESCC and its adjacent normal esophageal tissues. Gene ontology and pathway analysis results suggested that the differentially expressed genes were involved in 11 pathways.Theyare potentially associated with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma ,including post-translational protein modification ,mucin type O-Glycan biosynthesis and sphingolipid metabolism pathways , which mainly related to the changes of molecular function ,cellular components and biological processes. Through cis and trans analysis,a total of 15 differentially expressed lncRNA had cis-and/or trans-regulated target genes in the database, with 13 lncRNA had cis-regulated target genes,3 lncRNA had trans-regulated target genes, and 1 lncRNA had both cis- and trans-regulated target genes. Conclusion Compared with adjacent normal tissues ,a large number of lncRNA were expressed differentially in ESCC in Xinjiang Han people.Aberrantly expressed lncRNA may play important roles in ESCC development and progression through some signaling pathways ,which are of great significance for further search of new targets for the diagnosis and treatment of ESCC.
