Objective:To observe the efficacy of different forms of triamcinolone acetonide( TA) in the treatment of buccal erosive oral lichen planus (EOLP). Methods:120 EOLP patients were randomly divided into 4 groups(n=30) and treated with Kangfuxin mouth-wash followed by topical ointment of( TA) , TA injection, TA mouth-wash and only Kangfuxin mouth-wash only, respectively. Before treatment, 1, 2 and 4 weeks after treatment, the pain (VAS score) and erosion area were measured, the effects were compared among groups. Results:The VAS scores of A, B and C groups were significantly lower than those of the control group after 1, 2 and 4 week treatment, and the total effective rate was significantly higher than that of the control group, respectively(P<0. 05). The VAS score was lower and total effective rate was higher in group A and group B than those in group C(P<0. 05), but there was no statistically sig-nificant difference between group A and B(P>0. 05). The average erosion area of group A and B was significantly smaller than that of the control group after 1, 2 and 4 week treatment(P<0. 05). There was no significant difference between group C and the control group after 1 and 2 week treatment(P>0. 05), but 4 weeks after treatment, the average area of erosion of group C was significantly smaller than that of the control group(P<0. 05). Conclusion:Triamcinolone acetonide is effective in the treatment of OLP and the oral oint-ment form is safe and convenient for OLP treatment.

Objective Probing into the primary healthcare capabilities of healthcare clinics in the four provinces in China's west,in order to recommend the government in making relevant policies.Results It is found that among those village doctOrs under 45 years of age,76.0%have senior high school diploma/secondary technical school education,89.6%have rural doctor certificates;those above 45 years old,59.5%have middle school education,96.9%have rural doctor certificates,and 1.6%have licensed assistant doctor certificates.x2check is statistically significant,as the village doctors born in different eras have different composition of education and different percentage of qualification certificates.44.44% of the village clinics have less than three rooms,and 41.11%occupy less than 40 square meters.Only 19.44%of the clinics receive funding for their medieal facilities from higher authorities.Conclusion It is imperative to enhance resources input tO the staff and facilities of village clinics in the west,to cater to the primary healthcare needs of the local people.

OBJECTIVE:To determine the equilibrium solubility and the apparent partition coefficient of sulfamethazine(SM2) in a series of phosphate buffer solutions of different pH so as to provide a basic study for the exploitation of SM2 preparation.METHODS:A series of buffer solutions of different pH were prepared.The apparent solubility was determined by saturation method;Ko/w was calculated with concentration ratio of SM2 in n-octanol and water phase after partition equilibrium.RESULTS:The maximum equilibrium solubility was 1.916 g?L-1 at pH 2 and 1.375 g?L-1 at pH 9,and the maximum of apparent partition coefficient was 3.9070 at pH 8.CONCLUSION:The equilibrium solubility and apparent partition coefficient of SM2 are correlated to pH of the medium.SM2 dissolved preferably when pH6.8,but SM2 was more distributed in the lipid phase and easier to be absorbed by body when pH=3～8.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the value of each single and combined applications of ultrasound thyroid imaging reporting and data system (TI-RADS), ultrasonic shear wave elastography in the diagnosis of thyroid microcarcinoma (TMC). METHOD: 323 patients with thyroid tiny nodules confirmed by surgery and pathology were analyzed prospectively. Then their TI-RADS and shear wave elastography features were summarized. SWE elasticity indices (mean, minimum and maximum value of interest) of nodules were measured. The surgical pathology results were regarded as the gold standard to calculate the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of TI-RADS, shear wave elastography and their combination in the diagnosis of TMC. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of TI-RADS, shear wave elastography and combined application of both were drawn. The area under the ROC curve were calculated. Furthermore, the value of combined application of both examinations in the diagnosis of thyroid microcarcinoma (TMC) was investigated. RESULT: From 323 nodules,253 were thyroid carcinomas and 70 were benign. Areas under the ROC curves (AUC) of SWE parameters were 0. 648,0. 629 and 0. 605. For SWE, the optimal cut-off value according to ROC curve was SWE_max = 65.50 kPa and SWE_mean = 37.50 kPa. Generally, the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, PPV and NPV were 88.14%, 82.86%, 87.00%, 94.89% and 65.91% for TI-RADS, and 49.01%, 74.29%, 54.49%, 87.32% and 28. 73% for SWE. There were statistically significant differences in the sensitivity, accuracy, PPV and no statistically significant differences in the specificity, and NPV. The sensitivity,specificity, accuracy, PPV and NPV were 95.26%, 67.14%, 89.16%, 91.29% and 79.66% for combined application of both. The area under the ROC curve of TI-RADS, shear wave elastography and their combination were 0.763, 0.616, 0.804. For nodules ≤ 5 mm, the sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, PPV and NPV were 91.67%, 66.67%, 87.07%, 92.44% and 64.29%. However, for nodules 5-10 mm,the sensitivity,specificity, accuracy, PPV and NPV were 98.50%, 67.44%, 90.91%, 90.34% and 93.55%. CONCLUSION The diagnose of TMC can be further improved by combined application of ultra-sonic TI-RADS and SWE.

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of biological mesh during female anterior pelvic organ reconstruction.Methods The 68 consecutive women with symptomatic anterior vaginal wall prolapse in Beijing hospital from January 2010 to June 2013 were divided into two groups:6 cases underwent anterior vaginal wall repair with biological mesh,and 32 cases underwent vaginal approach to paravaginal repair.Preoperative and postoperative pelvic evaluations were performed with the POP-Q system.Patients were followed up at 1,3,6,12,24 months after operation.Objective cure was defined if the lateral sulci of the anterior vaginal walls were at grade 0 and firmly apposed to the lateral pelvic sidewalls.Results Among 68 patients,38 had grade Ⅲ and 30 had grade Ⅳ anterior vaginal wall prolapse.In all patients the anterior vaginal repair was performed successfully.The indexes of operation time,amount of bleeding,the postoperative retention time of catheter and hospital stay had no difference between biological mesh and vaginal approach groups [(88.1±18.3)min vs.(88.0±17.4)min,(140.3±77.6) ml vs.(141.3±64.9) ml,(5.30±1.79) d vs.(4.90±2.34) d,(5.53±2.00)d vs.(5.50±2.08)d,t=0.01,0.05,0.64,0.06,respectively,all P＞0.05].No complication happened during and after operation.No one relapsed in biological mesh group and 4 cases relapsed in paravaginal repair group.The relapse rate between two groups is statistically different(x2 =4.79,P＜0.05).Conclusions The anterior vaginal repair with biological mesh is effective during female anterior pelvic organ reconstruction,but the long-term outcome of biological mesh in pelvic floor construction needs further study.

Objective: To investigate the inhibitory effects and induction of apoptosis on human gastric adenocarcinoma cells (SGC 7901) by genistein. Methods: MTT、 colony forming experiment、 electon microscope and FCM were used to study the effects of genistein on SGC 7901.Results: MTT and colony forming experiment showed that the genistein inhibited SGC 7901 growth. Electron microscope and FCM showed that genistein could induce apoptosis. [WT5HZ]Conclusion: [WT5BZ]Genistein inhibits SGC 7901 cells growth via apoptosis induction.

Objective To retrospectively evaluate different methods (laboratory tests,liver / gallbladder ultrasound and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography)in differentiating biliary atresia from infant hepatitis syndrome.Methods Seventy infants with cholestatic jaundice,50 cases of biliary atresia and 20 cases of infant hepatitis syndrome were studied prospectively from January 2010 to December 2012.All cases underwent abdominal ultrasound and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography.The accuracy,sensitivity,specificity and predictive values of these various methods were compared.Also the laboratory parameters were statistically analyzed and compared between groups.Results Patients with BA had significantly higher GGT values at presentation [(743.5 ± 564) IU/L] compared with infants with IHS [(198.8 ± 197.8) IU/L],showing statistically significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).The sensitivity,specificity,and accuracy of the ultrasound in diagnosis of BA were 84.0％ 、100.0％ 、88.6％ respectively(P ＜ 0.05).The values for magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography were 82.0％ 、80.0％ 、81.4％ (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Currently,the method of ultrasound is more reliable than MRCP for differentiating biliary atresia from infant hepatitis syndrome.

Alternative polyadenylation ( APA) is a widespread phenomenon and an important layer of gene regulation . APA contributes to the complexity of the transcriptome by allowing a single gene to encode multiple mRNA isoforms that dif -fer either in their coding sequence or in their 3′untranslated regions (3′UTR).The length of the 3′UTR can affect the sta-bility, localization and efficiency of the messenger RNAs ( mRNAs) by altering binding sites of RNA binding proteins or mi-croRNAs(miRNAs).The polyadenylation process , mechanisms governing APA and biological consequences resulting from APA are only starting to be deciphered .Here, we review the research progress in APA .
