Objective To observe the changes of the depressive behavior and amygdaloid nucleus nerve growth factor(NGF)expression in estro?gen?deprived female rats and explore the possible mechanism and targets of estradiol in depression treatment. Methods A total of 30 adult SD fe?male rats were randomly assigned to 3 groups:sham operation group(SHAM,n=10);ovariectomized group(OVX,n=10)and ovariectomized rats treated with estradiol group(OVX+E,n=10). The behavior changes were observed by tail suspension test(TST)and sucrose preference test (SPT) after 8?week estradiol treatment. Subsequently ,immunohistochemical staining detect NGF expression in amygdaloid nucleus. Results Compared with the SHAM group rats,sucrose preference ratio significantly decreased in SPT(P<0.01),immobile time prolonged in TST(P<0.01),serum estradiol level and amygdaloid NGF expression significantly decreased(all P<0.01). 8?week estradiol treatment ameliorated depres?sion?like behavior and increased serum E2 level and NGF expression in amygdaloid nucleus in OVX+E group rats when compared with the OVX group(all P<0.01). Conclusion Estradiol treatment can improve the depressive behavior of ovariectomized rats ,which may be related to the in?crease of serum estradiol level and the expression of NGF in amygdaloid nucleus.

Objective To compare the diagnostic value of digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) versus digital mammography (DM) in the evaluation mass like lesions in dense breasts. Methods Eight hundred and fifty eight patients, who had DBT and DM, with breast diseases confirmed by pathology were retrospectively reviewed. The breast density and the imaging features were classified according to the standard of American College of Radiology(2013) and breast imaging reporting and data system (BI?RADS) scores. Six hundred and thirty one patients with mass lesions in dense breasts were chosen to included. All 631 patients had DM of both breasts and DBT of affected breast prior to mastectomy. Pathological results were used as the golden standard. Detection rate and diagnostic accuracy of masses, sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis, false negative and recall rates, the margins and spicules and BI?RADS category were calculated. The detection rate and diagnostic accuracy, the margins and spicules of masses were compared with Chi?square test, the BI?RADS scores were analyzed with rank test. Results With DBT, average detection rate increased from 77.3%(488/631) to 84.3% (532/631), average diagnostic accuracy rate increased from 73.4%(463/631) to 82.3%(519/631),with statistical significant difference between groups (c2=27.191,36.890,P<0.01).Sensitivity for DBT and DM were 68.1%(205/301) and 58.8%(177/301), respectively. Specificity for DBT and DM were 95.2%(314/330)and 86.7%(286/330), respectively. Recall rate for DBT and DM were 3.6%(23/631)and 9.8%(62/631), respectively. One hundred and seventy two cases and 75 cases with circumscribed masses of benign cases were detected by DBT and DM, respectively. One hundred and eighty-two cases and 115 cases with spiculated masses of malignant cases were detected by DBT and DM, respectively, with statistical significant difference between groups (c2=70.471 and 21.707, P<0.01). Of 330 malignant cases, the numbers of BI?RADS category 0, 2, 3, 4A, 4B, 4C, 5 on DM images were 19,4,8,13,52,93,141, respectively, the numbers on DBT images were 3,1,7,5,52,83,179, respectively, with statistical significant difference(Z=-2.235,P=0.025). Of 301 benign cases, the number of BI?RADS category 0, 2, 3, 4A, 4B, 4C, 5 on DM images were 43,10,60,117,58,11,2, respectively, the number on DBT images were 20,4,64,150,55,7,1, respectively, with no statistical significant difference between groups(Z=-1.846,P=0.065). Conclusion DBT significantly improves the detection of mass?like lesions in dense breasts, display of mass margin and architectural distortion of surrounding tissue.

Eighty-five endophytic fungal strains were isolated from the roots、stems and leaves of Polygala tenuifolia Willd, among which, fifty-two from natural plants and thirty-three from cultivated ones. Sev-enty-six strains were classified as twenty-three fungal genera. The inhibitory activity screening to fourteen microbe were conducted research. The results showed that some endophytic fungi had remarkble inhibitory activities to Bacillus subtilis, Shigella sonnei, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, Fusarium kyrushuense and they were all belonged to Fusarium, Alternaria, Aphanocladium respectively. All of the endophytic fungi isolated from Polygala tenuifolia showed no inhibitory activities to Staphyloccocus aureus, Salmonel-lae enteritis, Bibrio parahemolyticus.

Objective To investigate the effect of silicone oil on the corneal endothelium in experimental animal models,while the silicone oil in the anterior chamber of the experimental animals will be taken out so as to explore their corneal changes.Methods Forty healthy white rabbits were randomly divided into three groups : silicone oil in the anterior chamber group (SIG),silicone oil in and out of the anterior chamber group (SIOG) and control group(CG).The cornea of rabbit was investigated at different times by slit-lamp,corneal thickness instrument,endothelial cell count instrument,histology and electromicroscopy.The time of silicone oil in the anterior chamber without keratpathy and the pathological changes of cornea with taking out of the silicone oil were observed.Results The density of the corneal endothelium in SIOG and SIG decreased more obviously by endothelial cell count instrument from 8 weeks to 16 weeks compared with control group (P

To understand epidemiological characteristics of Marek's disease virus (MDV) prevalent in china currently,3 Marek's disease (MD) strains were isolated and identified from white feather meat chickens vaccined with MDV CVI988 or 814 through necropsy,histopathological observation,virus isolation and IFA detection,named SDAU1501,SDAU1502 and SDAU1503,respectively.vIL8,pp38,MEQ gene of the three strains of MDV were amplified using PCR,and compared with reference strains.The homology between SDAU1501 and SDAU1502 and virulent strains was above 97％,suggesting some features of virulent strains;while meq gene of SDAU1503 lost P amino acid at the 194 th site as that in CVI988,But the distinctive 177 nucleotide insertion mutations was not existed,predicting that it may be a attenuated vaccine strain.New variations of MDV continued and different types of variants emerged,therefore,prevalence and genetic monitoring of MD should be proceeded;meanwhile,more attentions should be given to MDV vaccine development.

OBJECTIVE:To systematically review the efficacy and safety of rosiglitazone and metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes,and provide evidence-based reference for the clinical treatment. METHODS:Retrieved from PubMed,Medline, EMBase,Cochrane Library,CJFD,VIP and Wanfang database,randomized controlled trials (RCT) about rosiglitazone (test group)and metformin(control group)in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. After data extract and quality evaluation,Meta-analysis was performed by using Rev Man 5.0 statistics software. RESULTS:A total of 5 RCT were included involving 636 patients. Re-sults of Meta-analysis showed the incidence of diarrhea [RR=0.23,95%CI(0.07,0.81),P=0.000] in test groupwere significantly lower than control group,the HbA1c level [MD=0.22,95%CI(0.07,0.38),P=0.004],the incidence of edema [RR=0.20,95%CI (0.05,0.57),P=0.011] in test group was significantly higher than control group,and there was no significant difference in the fast-ing blood glucose level[MD=0.27,95%CI(-0.26,0.79),P=0.32],the incidence of nausea/vomiting [RR=0.94,95%CI(0.06, 0.89),P=0.692]between 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Metformin is more effective than rosiglitazone in the treatment of type 2 dia-betes,however,the incidence of diarrhea should be noticed. Due to the limit of methodological quality and sample size,it remains to be further verified with more rigorously designed and long-term follow-up of large-scale RCT.

Objective To evaluate the specificities and sensitivities of neuron-assoeiated(Neu-A) autoantibodies in the diagnosis of neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus(NPSLE)and explore its role in the pathogenesis of NPSLE.Methods The ncuro-associated autoantibodies including anti-neuroblastoma cell,anti-neuroglioma cell,and anti-brain,anti-spinal antibodies were tested using neuroblastoma cell line SK-N-SH.ueuroglioma cell line U251 or cerebrum and spinal meduHa of mice C57BL/10 as substrates respec tively,Serums of 121 SLE patients fincluding 36 NPSLE patients and 85 systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)patients without CNS involvement),34 rheumatoid arthritis(RA)patients and 34 healthy controls were tested by indirect immunofluorescence(IIF)assay.Cerebrospinal fluid of 24 NPSLE patients and 22 CNS dis eases controls were also tested.Results The positive rates of anti-neuroblastoma cell antibodies,anti-brain and anti-spinal antibodies in serums of SLE patients were 17.4%,25.6%and 29.8%,respectively.Only 2.9%, 5.9%,0 in 34 RA patients and 0,2.9%,0 in health controls were positive(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).The specificity of the three antibodies in SLE was 98.5%.95.6%and 100%respectively.Anti-neuroblastoma cell antibodies, anti-brain and anti-spinal antibodies were closely associated with SLEDAI score.The NPSLE patients with positive anti-neuroblastoma cell antibodies,anti-brain or anti-spinal antibodies had frequent seizure atlacks, headache,acute confusion state and mood disorders.There was a higher prevalence of anti-neuroblastoma cell.anti-brain and anti-spinal antibodies in NPSLE than those in SLE patients.29.2%anti-brain and anti- spinal antibodies were detected in the eerebrospinal fluid of NPSLE patients.which were significantly higher than those of disease control group(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01).The specificities of these two antibodies jn NPSLE were 100%and 95.5%respectively.Conclusion Anti-neumhlastoma cell antibody.anti-brain and anti spinal antibodies are valuable markers for the diagnosis of SLE.They are closely associated with the disease activity of SLE and neuropsychiatric symptoms.Anti-spinal antibody may be a sensitive and specific marker for the diagnosis of NPSLE while anti-brain and anti-spinal antibodies in the cerebrospinal fluid are more specifie for the diagnosis of NPSLE.
