Eighty-five endophytic fungal strains were isolated from the roots、stems and leaves of Polygala tenuifolia Willd, among which, fifty-two from natural plants and thirty-three from cultivated ones. Sev-enty-six strains were classified as twenty-three fungal genera. The inhibitory activity screening to fourteen microbe were conducted research. The results showed that some endophytic fungi had remarkble inhibitory activities to Bacillus subtilis, Shigella sonnei, Escherichia coli, Candida albicans, Fusarium kyrushuense and they were all belonged to Fusarium, Alternaria, Aphanocladium respectively. All of the endophytic fungi isolated from Polygala tenuifolia showed no inhibitory activities to Staphyloccocus aureus, Salmonel-lae enteritis, Bibrio parahemolyticus.

Objective To clinically observe and verificate the advantages of treating infantile anorexia of spleen-dysfunction in transportation with infantile massage and Chinese medicine based on the thought of “invigo-rating spleen and nourishing qi”. Methods Multi-central large-sample randomized controlled trial was carried out in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Foshan. Five hundreds cases of infantile anorexia of spleen-dysfunction in transportation were randomized into infantile massage group, Chinese medicine group, infantile massage combined with Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group and two sessions of treatment were required in each group. Separately, during the enrollment, after 2 sessions of treatment, infantile anorexia signs and symptoms scale , the related therapeutic effect criterion from clinical guideline of new drugs for traditional Chinese medicine, the expression level of hemoglobin and blood zinc were adopted for efficacy assessment. Results A mong 4 groups , the recovery rate and the total effective rate of infantile massage combined with Chinese medicine group were better than those of other groups (P < 0.05). The expression level of hemoglobin and blood zinc of 4 groups both increased obviously (all P < 0.01), but more improvement was found in infantile massage combined with Chinese medicine group (both P < 0.05). Conclusion The treatment of infantile anorexia with infantile massage and Chinese medicine based on the thought of invigorating spleen and nourishing qi has a significant effect.

Objective To discuss the curative effect of different operative methods for the treatment of urethrocutaneous fistula (UCF) after urethroplasty.Methods Clinical data of 54 cases of UCF from January 2003 to July 2011 were collected.Simple suture,advancement skin flap,pedicle penile skin flap urethroplasty,tongue/buccal mucosa urethroplasty were performed according to the size,location,number and whether there was urethral stricture of UCF.The treatment effect was recored and analyzed.Results The success rate of UCF repair was 85％ (46/54).There were 4 patients cured after second surgery.The success rates of repair of UCF with simple suture,advancement skin flap,pedicle penile skin flap urethroplasty,tongue/buccal mucosa urethroplasty were 95％,76％,82％,and 83％,respectively.Postoperative recurrence was observed in 5 patients in 6 months after the surgery and 4 of them received the re-operation.Conclusion According to the principle and the individual circumstance,taking personalized operative methods may improve the success rate of the repair of all kinds of UCF.

Objective To investigate the relationship between hypertension, depression and cognitive function in elderly. Methods General conditions and health status were surveyed in 207 individuals, which were divided into hypertension group, depression group, hypertension and depression group and controls. Patients cognitive function was assessed by the mini-mental state examination (MMSE), depression severity was detected by Hamilton rating scale for depression (HAMD) , other relative data were collected. Results Elderly patients with depression were more inclined to live alone. Comparing with control, hypertension patients had lower attention and calculation. Depression patients had lower orientation, attention, calculation and linguistic ability ( P < 0.05). Compared with hypertension patients, patients combined with depression had significantly lower MMSE scores, orientation, recall and language ( P <0. 05). Patients with hypertension and depression had lower attention and calculation, compared with hypertension a-lone patients ( P <0. 05 ). MMSE scores of depressed patients were negatively related to HAMD scores ( r = -0. 706, P <0.01). Logistic regression revealed depression or combination of hypertension and depression were related to impairment of cognitive ability ( P < 0.01). Conclusion Both hypertension and depression in the elderly impaired cognitive function. The cognitive function impairment in elderly was closely associated with hypertension and depression. Prevention and control of hypertension and depression might be helpful in slowing down impairment of cognitive function in elderly.

Objective To define the effect and mechanism of hyperkalemic solution on atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) secretion in rabbits. Methods Eighteen rabbits were selected and the chest was opened under anes-thetization to remove the heart. The left atrium was isolated and fixed in the atrial perfusion system with proper electric stimulation for beating. The following experiments were carried out on beating rabbit atria: ①The atrium was perfused for 60 min to stabilize parameters of ANP secretion and atrial dynamics. The control period (12 min as an experimental cycle) was followed by an infusion of hyperkalemic solution (K+ concentration of hyperkalemic solution was 5.64 mmol/L and the osmolarity of hyperkalemic solution was unchanged) for three cycles, then normal K+ cancentration was recovered for two cycles;②The control period was followed by an infusion of L type Ca2+ channel blocker nifedipine (1.0 μmol/L) for three cycles;③L type Ca2+ channel inhibitor nifedipine (1.0 μmol/L) was infused for 36 rain prior (three cycles) to infusion of hyperkalemic solution. Atrial stroke volume was determined and the ANP secretion was measured by radioimmtmoaasay. Results (1)Hyperkalemic solution increased atrial ANP secretion (P<0.01) and reduced the atrial stroke volume,hut the difference was not statistically significant as compared with that of the control cycle(P>0.05). The recovery trend was to the normal level of ANP secretion and atrial stroke volume was to become normal gradually when solution level recovered to normal ,which was not significantly different from that of the control cycle (P>0.05) ;②Nifedipine (1.0 μmol/L) also increased the atrial ANP secretion (P<0.01 or P <0.05) while decreasing atrial stroke volume (P<0.01 or P < 0.05 ) ; ③Nifodipine (1.0μmol/L) completely blocked the effect of hyperkalemic solution so to increase the ANP secretion (P <0.01 ). Conclusion Hyperkalemic solution significantly increases atrial ANP secretion via extracellular high K+ competitive inhibition of extracellular Ca2+ inflow in beating rabbit atria.

Objective To investigate the correlation between serum insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)level and the 131Ⅰahsorbante of thyroid nodule in patients with struma nadosa,to search for simpler and safer methods for differentiating thyroid nodule.Methods Detecting the 131Ⅰ absorbance of thyroid nodule by radioisotope scanning.then the patients were divided into warm and cold nodule groups,and the normal control group was also set up;the levels of IGF-1,FT3,FT4,sTSH were detected in serum of patients with struma nadosa by radio immunoassay,then the correlation between these data and the 131Ⅰabsorbance of thyroid nodule was analyzed.Results In the patients with warnl nodule,the level of serum IGF-1,FT3,FT4 and the 131Ⅰ absorbance of thyroid nodule[(315.86±22.74)μg/L,(9.95±5.62),(67.27±27.31)ng/L,0.64±0.17]were increased obviously when compared with the control group [(256.13±39.85)μg/L,(2.80±1.30),(13.51±5.50)ng/L,0.35±0.15],but the sTSH[(0.35±0.03)mU/L]went down significantly than the control group[(2.71±1.17)mU/L],the difference being statistically significant(P＜0.01).In the patients with cold nodule,the level of serum IGF-1,FT3,FT4,sTSH[(263.17±30.23)μg/L,(2.89±0.98),(14.23±2.84)ng/L,(2.81±0.42)mU/L] had no significant difference compared with the control group(P＞0.05).The level of serum IGF-1 was positively correlated with the 131Ⅰ absorbance of thyroid nodule(r＝0.835,P＜0.01),but negtively correlated with sTSH(r＝-0.326,P＜0.05)in the patients with warm nodule.Conclusion The level of sernm IGF-1 is closely correlated with the 131Ⅰ absorbance of thyroid nodule in patients with struma nadosa.

Objective To investigate the applicability of autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model in predicting healthcare-associated infection(HAI) in children.Methods The ARIMA model was constructed according to the incidence of HAI in a hospital from January 2011 to December 2014.With the use of information criterion,optimal model was determined;HAI data in 2015 was as test samples,the feasibility of the model was evaluated.Results ARIMA (0,1,1) was the optimal prediction model for HAI rate,the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and Bayesian Information Criterion(BIC) of the ARIMA (0,1,1) were 66.61 and 70.76,respectively.The Ljung-Box statistics value Q =14.14 was not significantly different (P =0.658),suggesting a white noise sequence of residuals with a good model fitting.The mean absolute percent error(MAPE) between actual and fitting value of HAI was 22.4,the actual values were within the 95％ confidence interval.Conclusion ARIMA model fits the time series data,and can achieve satisfactory effect on predicting the incidence of HAI in hospitalized children.
