The nuclear transcription factor nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NRF2) plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular redox homeostasis. The aberrant NRF2 signaling confers enhanced antioxidant capacity, which is linked to tumor progression and therapeutic resistance. The current study investigates the biological effects and molecular mechanism of tribbles homolog 3 (TRIB3), a stress-induced protein, in regulating cell survival and apoptosis in lung cancer. This study first performed the RNA sequencing data analysis with 576 lung adenocarcinoma patients from the cancer genome atlas (TCGA) database. The NRF2- antioxidant response element (ARE) signature was enriched in patients with high TRIB3 expression. Dual-luciferase reporter assay and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) were used to confirm the effect of TRIB3 on the kelch-like ECH-associated protein-1 (KEAP1)-NRF2 pathway. Objective To investigate primipara' s fatigue status during pregnancy and the major related factors, provide basis for relevant intervention measures. Methods A total of 150 primiparas from a top-notched hospital in Beijing were investigated by using General Fatigue Self-assessment Scale (FSAS) ,Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), Trait Coping Style Questionnaire (TCSQ) and Pregnancy Pressure Scale (PPS). Results Primipara's fatigue status was at a mild level, and could be relieved by sleep or rest; Age, gestational age and weight gain during pregnancy had different degrees of relevance with the score of FSAS( P <0. 05 ) ; Primipara' s fatigue was negatively relate to the general self-efficacy ( P <0. 05 ) ; Primipara' s fatigue was positively relate to positive coping, pregnancy pressure(P <0. 05 ). Conclusions The health education and pregnancy counseling for the primipara should be strengthened. And we should pay attention to primipara with fast weight gain, old gestational age and pregnancy complications. Further more, primipara should be encouraged to adopt positive coping, cultivate self-efficacy and reduce pregnancy stress by using early period intervention, which could help to reduce fatigue during pregnancy.

Objective To observe the result of pressure ulcer knowledge training to nurses, discuss the relationship between the training effect and the spacing interval preliminarily, compare the trairning effect of nurse between the different level nurses,so as to provide evidence for later training. Methods The training included theory training and skill training was adopted among 43 nurses. The test was launched before training,2 weeks after training,12 weeks after training, and 24 weeks after training.Compared the score and the yield between different time points, different level nurses. Results The test qualified rate before training was 32.6%,2 weeks and 12 weeks after the training respectively was 95.3% and 87.8%,but the test qualified rate was dropped to 57.9% in 24 weeks afer the training.Conelusions Pressure ulcer knowledge training to nurses can significantly improve the knowledge level of pressure ulcer of nurses, while a long-term,systematic training is needed.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate in vitro the microtensile bond strengths of three dentin adhesive systems and their respective fracture modes.
METHODSA total of 15 intact young human premolars extracted for orthodontic reasons were used. The enamel of occlusal surfaces of these premolar teeth was removed and superficial dentine was exposed, finished with wet 600-grit silicon carbide paper. And then these teeth were randomly divided into three groups. A block of composite resin was bonded respectively with three dentin adhesive systems: All-bond 2 (Group AB(2)), Fluoro-Bond (Group FB) and Xeno III (Group Xeno) according to manufacturers' instructions. The bonded teeth were kept in distilled water for 24 h at 37 degrees C. The roots were removed from the remaining crown approximately 1 - 2 mm below the cemento-enamel junction with a slow-speed diamond saw. The teeth were sectioned to obtain bar-shaped specimens, whose bonded surface areas were about 0.8 mm(2). The specimens were stressed at a crosshead speed of 1 mm/min until rupture of the bond. SEM was used to observe the fracture modes. The mean bond strengths were compared using one-way ANOVA and LSD tests. The frequency of fracture modes was compared using Krukal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney U-test.
RESULTSMean microtensile bond strengths were (29.56 +/- 5.47) MPa for Group AB(2), (15.81 +/- 7.67) MPa for Group Xeno, and (14.61 +/- 4.50) MPa for Group FB. The bond strength of Group AB(2) was greater than those of the other two groups (P < 0.01). The bond strengths of Group Xeno and Group FB were not significantly different. SEM examination indicated that the adhesive failure was the most mode of fracture.
CONCLUSIONSThe microtensil bond strengths of three dentin adhesive systems to normal human dentine were different and the total-etching adhesive All-Bond 2 exhibited the greatest bond strength. It was recommended that dentin adhesive agent should be used according to clinical situation.

Objective:To investigate the effects of estradiol on ~(60)Co?-ray induced apoptosis of bone marrow hematopoietic cells of mice, and to discuss the related anti-irradiation mechanism. Methods:KM mice were randomly divided into 3 groups(15 mice/each group):control group(without radiation),pure radiation group and estradiol+radiation group(ER group). The pure radiation group was irradiated by 4.0 Gy?-ray at a dose rate of 1.15Gy/min;the ER group was administered with 0.1 mg estradiol(IM)at 10 days before 4.0 Gy?-ray radiation;and the control group received no special treatment. The apoptotic DNA segments of bone marrow hematopoietic cells were analyzed by DNA agarose gel electrophoresis;flow cytometry was used to examine the apoptosis rate of cells and expression of Fas and Bcl-2 at 4 h,8 h,and 12 h after irradiation. Results:Eight hours after radiation, the apoptotic DNA segments were obviously increased and apoptotic DNA ladder appeared, which was not seen in the other 2 groups. The apoptosis rate of bone marrow hematopoietic cells in ER group was significantly lower than that in the pure radiation group at 4,8,and 12 h after irradiation(P

Abstract: Due to the continued emergence of multiple variants of SARS-CoV-2, the ongoing pandemic has resulted in severe mortality over the past two years. After the Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Delta variants, the most recent new variant of concern (VOC) strain to emerge is Omicron (B.1.1.529), which evolved as a result of the accumulation of a large number of mutations. The Omicron variant, which has a much higher transmission rate than the Delta variant, soon replaced the Delta variant and others, is now the dominant variant worldwide. The emergence of Omicron poses new challenges for the prevention and control of COVID-19 and has raised a number of concerns worldwide. Recently, cases of Omicron infection have been reported in several parts of China, and therefore this paper provides a comprehensive analysis and summary of the epidemiology and immune escape mechanisms of the Omicron variant. We also suggest some therapeutic strategies against the Omicron variant, including rapid diagnosis, genome analysis of emerging variants, ramping up of vaccination drives and receiving booster doses, updating the available vaccines, designing of multivalent vaccines able to generate hybrid immunity, up-gradation of medical facilities and strict implementation of adequate prevention and control measures need to be given high priority to handle the on-going COVID-19 pandemic successfully.
