Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2009;8(1):31-35
Objective To investigate the association between human leukocyte antigen DRB1gene (HLA-DRB1) polymorphisms and asthma among Mongolian and Han peoples in China. Methods Sequence-specific primer polymerase chain reaction (PCR-SSP) was used to detect frequencies of HLA DRB1 alleles in 45 Han and 45 Mongolian patients of asthma, as well as 46 healthy Han and 45 healthy Mongolian people as controls. Frequencies of each locus of HLA-DRB1 gene were calculated and odds ratio (OR) for each locus was estimated and tested by chi-square test. Results Frequency of HLA-DR9 allele was significantly higher in Han ( 13.33 %, OR of 7. 82) and Mongolian ( 16.67 %, OR of 4. 10) asthmatic patients, as compared to Han ( 2. 22 % ) and Mongolian ( 5.43 % ) controls, respectively ( P < 0. 05 ) ;frequency of HLA-DR11 allele in Mongolian asthmatic patients ( 10. 00 % ) was significantly higher than that in healthy Mongolians ( 1.11% ) ( P < 0. 05, OR of 11.00 ) ;and frequency of HLA-DR7 allele in Han asthmatic patients was significantly lower than that in healthy Han people ( P < 0. 05, OR of 0. 08 ). Frequency of HLA-DR7 allele in Han asthmatic patients (1.11% ) was significantly lower than that in Mongolian patients (10. 87 % ). Conclusions HLA-DR9 allele is a common in the people of Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, and associated with susceptibility of asthma in Han and Mongolian peoples. HLA-DR11 allele is a unique susceptive gene for Mongolian asthmatic patients and HLA-DR7 allele is a protecting one for asthma in Han people.
2.Expression of Livin protein and vascular endothelial growth factor in tumor
Cancer Research and Clinic 2009;21(6):425-427
Livin is the inhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAPs), a new member, in most malignant tissues of high expression, and its main function is to inhibit cell apoptosis. Apoptosis and tumor cells is closely related to the occurrence and development, more on which the survival of tumor angiogenesis. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is one of the strongest of vascular growth factor, and almost all human tumors and tumor cell lines have over-expression of it. Livin and VEGF protein expression in tumor was summarized.

4.Predictive values of classification in clinical symptoms, brain images and artery abnormalities on prognosis of cerebral infarction
Chinese Journal of Neurology 2001;0(01):-
Objective To compare the predictive values of the classification of clinical symptoms(OCSP classification), brain images and artery abnormalities on prognosis of cerebral infarction. Methods Totally 116 acute ischemic stroke patients were divided into 4 subtypes based on the OCSP clinical classification. Lesion distributions were classified into cortical infarction, basal ganglion infarction, centrum ovale infarction and posterior infarction according to brain MRI image. Artery abnormalities were grouped into large artery disease and small artery disease according to the results of transcranial doppler, brain MRA, carotid duplex sonography or cerebral angiograph. The neurological function of patients 1 year after onset was evaluated by Barthel index and Rankin scale. Kaplan-Meier survival curves were graphed, and log-rank testing was performed to investigate the differences among stroke subtypes. Results OCSP clinical classification and brain image classification predicted the neurological function recovery 1 year after stroke onset, but it might be based on the size of the lesion whether it caused a dominant factor or not. Patients with small artery disease were found having a lower recurrence and mortality rate, as compared those with large artery diseases(0 vs 17.9%, Log-rank test, P=0.03). Conclusions There might be differences in predictive value among these 3 classification methods upon the prognosis of cerebral infarction.
5.Treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc prolapse with X-ray guided Nd: YAG Laser interposing percutaneous laser disc decompression
Chinese Journal of Radiology 2000;0(11):-
Objective To discuss the pe rc utaneous laser disc decompression (PLDD) therapy by adopting the Nd: YAG Laser C L-50 Device under X-ray monitor supervision. Methods A total of 378 cases were included in this study. There was 198 males and 180 fe males, the age ranged from 19 to 76 years, with the average of 43.9 years, and the course of diseases from 1 month to 16 years. 17 cases of lumbar interverteb ral disc prolapse were diagnosed between L2 and L3, 35 cases between L3 and L4, 140 cases between L4 and L5, and 116 cases between L5 and S1. 60 cases with two intervertebral disc prolapses at the same time, and 10 cases with three interve rtebral disc prolapses at the same time. A total of 458 intervertebral-dis c operations were conducted with PLDD. All the cases selected had been examined by CT or MRI, and their clinical symptoms and physical signs were in compliance with the diagnosis standards for prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc. Results After PLDD operation, 268 cases were cured within 1 month with a cure rate of 70.90%; 259 cases were cured in 3 months with a cu re rate of 68.52%, 260 cases were cured in 6 months with a cure rate of 68 .25%. Stable results were found with curing satisfaction rate, effective rate and failure rate. Conclusion X-ray guided PLDD therapy is an ideal non-operative therapy for curing lumbar intervertebral disc prolap se with micro-trauma, little pain, quick recovery and good effect. PLDD has ac hieved encouraging effects both in its recent clinical outcome and long term eff ect as well.
6.Systematic Review of the Efficacy of Fluconazole in the Treatment of Candida Infections in Different Parts
China Pharmacy 2015;(21):2962-2964
OBJECTIVE:To systematically review the efficacy of fluconazole in the treatment of candida infections in different parts, and provide evidence-based reference. METHODS:Cochrane library,Medline,EMBase,PubMed,CBM,CJFD,VIP data-base and Wanfang database were retrieved to collect the randomized controlled trial(RCT)of fluconazole(test group)vs. other an-tifungal agents(control group)in the treatment of candida infections in different parts. After information collection and quality eval-uation,the Meta-analysis was performed by Rev Man 5.1 software. RESULTS:There were totally 6 literatures included, involving 1 966 patients. Meta-analysis results showed that the effectiveness in test group was lower than control group in the treatment of can-didemia [OR=0.48,95%CI(0.29,0.77),P=0.003];compared with control group, there were no significant differences in the effec-tiveness in the treatment of esophagus candidemia [OR=1.15,95%CI(0.74,1.78),P=0.52]. CONCLUSIONS:The efficacy of flu-conazole in the treatment of candidemia is no better than anidulafungin and equivalent with amphotericin B;the efficacy of flucon-azole in the treatment of esophageal candidiasis is equivalent with itraconazole, voriconazole, anidulafungin and micafungin. Due to the limit of included studies,it remains to be further verified by high-quality,large-sample and long follow-up RCTs.

Chinese Journal of General Practitioners 2009;8(12):904-906
The study is to investigate the relationship between dyslipidemia and impaired glucose tolerance (IGT). Ninety elderly nondiabetic patients (60 -84 years old) were under long-term follow-up in outpatient department. Blood lipid measurement and oral glucose tolerance test (OGTr) were performed, the two-hour glucose levels (2 hPBG) between normal and abnormal blood lipid groups were compared. We found that patients with hypertriglyceridemia had a significantly higher 2 hPBG than patients with normal blood triglyceride(P<0. 01 ). But there were no differences in 2 hPBG levels between other dyslipidemias and normal lipid patients. OGTT screening in elderly patients with hypertriglyceridemia can be helpful in early detection and prevention of diabetes.
