Objective To analyze radiation induced alterations of vitronectin and collagen expressions in fibroblasts at different times post-irradiation,so as to evaluate the potential to apply vitronectin as a biomarker of radiation-induced lung fibrosis. Methods The human fibroblast cells WI-38 and IMR-90 were irradiated with 137Cs γ-rays at doses of 0 (control),4,6,8,10 and 12 Gy,respectively. The cells and its supernatant were collected at 6,12,24,36,48 and 60 h post-irradiation.The expressions of vitronectin and collagen Ⅰ and Ⅲ were analyzed by Western blot,PCR and ELISA.Results After irradiation, the expressions of vitronectin and collagen Ⅰ and Ⅲ were positively correlated (r=0.40-0.79,P<0.05) and were all significantly higher than that in control group (t =3.04-25.45,P <0.05) and reached the highest expression levels at 48 h after 8-10 Gy of irradiation (t =2.92-18.86,P < 0.05).Analyses of Real-time PCR and ELISA assay showed that expressions of vitronectin mRNA and its protein level in the cell lysis were significantly increased by radiation (F =27.09-42.62,P < 0.05).Conclusions The expressions of vitronectin in cellular supernatant and its mRNA may be a potential biomarker of radiation-induced fibrosis, and 48 h after 8 Gy irradiation may be an optimum condition of measurement.

Objective:
To explore the characteristics of maternal glucose and lipid metabolism in twin pregnancies complicated by gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).
Methods:
The clinical features of twin and singleton pregnancies complicated by GDM, which delivered in Peking University First Hospital from January 1st, 2012 to December 31st, 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. A total of 286 twin pregnancies with GDM (GDM-T group) were collected, and 572 singleton pregnancies complicated by GDM (GDM-S group) which were matched by delivery time in a ratio of 1∶2 among all singleton pregnancies with GDM. The characteristics of maternal glucolipid metabolism in the second trimesters of pregnancy was compared between two groups.
Results:
(1) Compared with GDM-S group, the maternal delivery age were lower [(32±4), (33±4) years] and prepregnancy body mass index (BMI) were higher [(24±4), (23±4) kg/m2] in GDM-T group, the differences were statistically significant (all

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2023;29(31):4207-4210
Objective:To explore the evaluation of nursing undergraduates on the effect of ideological and political teaching in nursing research courses. Methods:Using the purposive sampling method, a total of 19 undergraduate students from School of Nursing at Peking University who participated in nursing research ideological and political education courses were selected for face-to-face semi-structured interviews from March to June 2022. The interview data was analyzed using the Colaizzi phenomenological data analysis method. Results:A total of 19 students were interviewed, and the interviewees stated that through the study of nursing research ideological and political teaching courses, they had mastered scientific research methods, cultivated scientific thinking, strengthened innovation consciousness, expanded international vision and enhanced professional identity. Conclusions:This study is a beneficial attempt at ideological and political education in nursing research courses, providing a basis for the design, implementation and evaluation of ideological and political teaching of similar courses in the future.
