2.How to construct a safe storage environment for hospital informations.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2007;31(1):56-59
This article outlines the methods of building a safe environment for the hospital information system, and protecting data in three levels. Firstly it is recommended to build a highly efficient and redundant hot spare system for program applications and the database, secondly to make a copy of log file from the current database to the emergent server used for the whole hospital is suggested, finally another emergent server should be provided for the outpatient department. And thus, once there are some problems with the whole network, it would undertake the urgent services of the hospital as an outpatient network.

Journal of Korean Society of Medical Informatics 1997;3(2):169-175
Recent progress in medical informatics enable to use various medical regardless of time or place, to make a diagnostic and therapeutic plan, with increasing need about health of general population. There are many homepages on the web, which provide medical common senses, hospital information. and medical counseling on the web. Virtual Hospital, which is comprehensive medical information system on the web, has medical counseling program with various health information such as self-diagnosis, first-aid treatment information, drug information, Q and A, and so on. The aim of this study is to examine the content and purpose of medical counseling on the web. The subjects consisted of 277 counsels which visited 'Medical Counseling' in the Virtual Hospital for December 1996 through May 1997. Many questioners wanted to consult about their symptoms, to know prevention and treatment strategies, and to know specific medical knowledge. The most common questions are as follows: general and unspecified, digestive, musculoskeletal, and skin problems. These findings suggest medical counseling may be used to supplement the lack of direct medical Interviews with doctors.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2006;30(6):431-433
PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) is successfully applied in Huzhou Central Hospital, and is well integrated with its HIS system by WEBSERVICE middleware. The system supports DICOM 3.0 Standard, and DICOM gateways are installed for modalities that do not support DICOM so as to have implemented the digitalization of all the image departments in the hospital.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2003;20(2):237-244
That the multicast technology is fit for telemedical consultation application has been developed on the basis of the features analysis of medical consultation action. A scheme of the telemedical consultation application based on the multicast technology has been designed. The features of this scheme are: unrestrained joining in and quitting, simultaneous control over the transport information of doctor and patient, extending, and simulating consultation scene. And the implementation of this scheme is discussed.
