1.Development of a Generic Data Form Authoring Program Based on XML/XSL Technology: XML/XSL-based Generic Form Editor.
Journal of Korean Society of Medical Informatics 2000;6(2):65-72
The World Wide Web provides the means for theintegration of clinical computer systems. Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Extensible Stylesheet Language (XSL) are newly developed and standardized Internet protocols. Development of custom data entry forms requires significant programming resources in clinical information system development and management. Visual design tools and a modifiable, template-driven approach may facilitate this process. However, these approaches generally require the predefinition of data form element types. This paper describes an XML/XSL-based technology enabling post hoc definition of elementary and composite data entry form element types.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1984;20(3):690-696
Recently data about performances in radiology department tend to increase rapidly and appropriate use of computer system is needed to monitor variuos jobs including scheduling of the patient, reporting of radiologic examination and film library management. The authors describe experiences in computerizing several jobs of radiology departement using Aplle II personal computer during last uear, and our experiences suggest that with appropriate soft ware and peripheral devices, personal computer can handle relatively large amount of informations about a certain functions in radiology department. The authors also put emphasis on the point that meticulous characterization and cocumentation of data is mandatory for effective use of computer system and should be done by radiologist who use or want to use computer system.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2015;39(4):268-271
Recent years have witnessed great development of TLA (Total Laboratory Automation) technology, however, its application hit the bottleneck of high cost and openess to other parties' instruments. Specifically speaking, the initial purchase of the medical devices requires large sum of money and the new system can hardly be compatible with existing equipment. This thesis proposes a new thought for system implementation that through incremental upgrade, the initial capital investment can be reduced and through open architecture and interfaces, the seamless connection of different devices can be achieved. This thesis elaborates on the standards that open architecture design should follow in aspect of mechanics, electro-communication and information interaction and the key technology points in system implementation.

4.How to construct a safe storage environment for hospital informations.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2007;31(1):56-59
This article outlines the methods of building a safe environment for the hospital information system, and protecting data in three levels. Firstly it is recommended to build a highly efficient and redundant hot spare system for program applications and the database, secondly to make a copy of log file from the current database to the emergent server used for the whole hospital is suggested, finally another emergent server should be provided for the outpatient department. And thus, once there are some problems with the whole network, it would undertake the urgent services of the hospital as an outpatient network.

7.Digitalized Stimulus Synthesis System for Audiological Evaluation.
Korean Journal of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery 1999;42(7):816-819
Background and Objective: Fast and reliable methods of synthesizing various auditory stimuli have been demanded both in clinical and in experimental auditory evaluations. Computerized digital stimulus synthesis system was developed to achieve the accuracy of stimulus waveforms, the simplicity of controlling stimulus parameters, and the flexibility of generating complex stimuli. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The system consisted of an AD / DA Board (GW Instrument), Macintosh computer system (Apple Computer Inc), and custom-made timing devices to digitally synthesize auditory stimuli. Developed programs controlled various parameters of this hardware system in real time. RESULTS: The system generated pure tones (default frequency range: 0.001-25000 Hz), harmonic stacks (components up to 10 tones), white noises (with various Gaussian variances). These synthesized stimuli were controlled by systematically varying presentation parameters such as rise / fall times, presentation duration, repetition rates, and phase relationship between frequencies. Conclusions: This stimulus synthesis tool was fast, exact, and versatile in generating and controlling stimuli for the audiological evaluation.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2006;30(4):250-252
In this article, based on the analysis on the regional information system's development background and its applications, the construction of the regional medical information system through creating the electronic medical record and the medicine image data centers is proposed, for information resource sharing. And then, the system's software construction and various subsystems functions are mainly introduced. Standardization and the middleware platform are suggested as the effective way of constructing these two data centers in the present situation in our country.
