OBJECTIVETo investigate the occurrence and associated factors for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in rescuers and firefighters.
METHODSThe PTSD of 264 rescuers and firefighters who had participated in rescue was evaluated using the self-designed fireman general situation questionnaire and PTSD Checklist-Civilian Version (PCL-C). The factors associated with the occurrence of PTSD were also analyzed.
RESULTSThe incidence rate of PTSD in the subjects was 8.3%. The PTSD rate of special service corps (12%) was significantly higher than that of other subjects (P<0.05). The incidence of PTSD was highest in the rescuers and firefighters above the third rank, but without significant differences (P>0.05). The PTSD rate of married rescuers and firefighters was significantly higher than that of unmarried subjects (P<0.05). The PTSD rate of subjects addicted to drinking was significantly higher than that of non-drinking subjects (P<0.05). Subjects with more frequent attendance were more susceptible to PTSD compared with those with less attendance.
CONCLUSIONThe incidence rate of PTSD is high in rescuers and firefighters who have attended rescues. It is necessary to implement both short-term and long-term counseling programs for stress management and intervention in order to reduce the psychological trauma after rescue and improve the mental health of rescuers and firefighters.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the disorder of learning and memory in lead rats and the argnine vasopressin (AVP) and the somatotatin (SS) of hippocampus. Methods Sixty healthy 2-month old Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into normal control group and lead group. Normal control group was given deionized water and the lead group was given 0.1% lead acetate deionized water for 3 months to make chronic lead rat. Learning and memory ability was tested by the Y-maze test. The content of AVP and SS in hippocampus were tested by the immunohistochemical method. Results The learning memory ability and the content of AVP and SS in hippocampus CA1 section of the lead group were degraded obviously than the control group(all P0.05)in hippocampus CA3 section of the lead group were degraded also. Conclusion The disorder of the learning and memory of the lead exposure rats may be due to the decrease of the content of AVP and SS in hippocampus.

Objective To investigate the uptake of 99Tcm-hydrazinonicotinamide-D-alanine-D-alanine-alanine-proline-arginine-proline-glycine (HYNIC-A(D) A(D) APRPG) in rabbit models of inflammation and VX2 tumor xenografted, so as to evaluate its use as a new tracer for tumor angiogenesis. Methods Ten rabbit models of xenoplanted VX2 tumor and inflammation were randomly divided into two groups which were injected with different injected tracers, 99Tcm-HYNIC-A(D) A (D)APRPG 99Tcm-RGD, followed by serial Gamma images at various time points. The first group underwent 18F-FDG PET ahead of 99Tcm-HYNICA(D)A (D) APRPG SPECT. Analysis of variance and t-test were performed with SPSS 10.0. Results 99TcmHYNIC-A(D) A (D)APRPG scan showed negative uptake at inflammation focus but positive uptake at tumor. Pathological examination confirmed high 99Tcm-HYNIC-A(D)A(D) APRPG accumulation in tumor cells, with the highest tumor/inflammation ratio (3.25 ±0. 171) at 2 h post-injection, which was significantly higher than that of 99Tcm-RGD (2.37 ± 0.076) (F = 15. 63, P<0. 01). The tumor/inflammation ratios of 99Tcm-HYNIC-A(D)A(D)APRPG, 99Tcm-RGD, 18F-FDG were significantly different at 0.5, 1,2,3, 6 h (F = 13. 83~26. 41; t = 23.84, 12.75; all P<0. 01). Conclusion 99Tcm-HYNIC-A (D) A (D)APRPG can be used as a potential tracer for tumor angiogenesis.
6.Discussion on the constructing principle of syndrome differentiation system according to meridian and collateral theories.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2011;31(9):831-833
According to the meridian and collateral theories in the Internal Classic, the authors proposed that the construction of the syndrome differentiation system with science characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion should follow the principle of systemic structure and physiological function. The establishment of the whole frame structure of syndrome differentiation system according to meridian and collateral theories should base on the principle of systemic structure and the establishment of symptom of each syndrome should base on the principle of physiological function.

Objective Data on the leukapheresis from 26 pediatric patients with hematologic or solid malignancies was retrospectively evaluated to screen predictive factors affecting the efficacy of peripheral blood stem cell(PBSC) collection from donors,as well as hematopoietic recovery in recipients. Methods We present our experience with 49 apheresis from 26 granulocyte-colory Stimulating factor mobilized donors and analyzed the correlations between the mobilization, the leukocyte count in the donor peripheral blood and the MNC and CD_(34)~+ cell yields in collecting products and the neutrophil and platelet recovery of recipients. Results The process of mobilization and apheresis were well tolerated by our pediatric donors. The median numbers for harvested MNCs and CD_(34)~+ cells were 4.5?10~8/kg and 1.9?10~6/kg of recipient body weight, respectively.Mobilizing dose positively affected the number of mononuclear ceus(MNC) but not CD_(34)~+ cells in the apheresis products. The CD_(34)~+ cell number in the apheresis product was influenced significantly by donor circulating MNC on the day of harvest and correlated with recipient′s engraftment after PBSC was reinfused. Conclusions The MNC yield was stable and met with the demand for autologous stem cell transplantation while the CD_(34)~+ cell number varies obviously from each donor.Since a rapid engraftment was associated with a high number of CD_(34)~+ cells collected, which was in turn predicted by the level of the pre-apheresis CD_(34)~+ cells in the peripheral blood of donors,it is necessary to monitor the donors′ CD_(34)~+ cell during mobilization to determine the optimal time for apheresis.J Appl Clin Pediatr,2006,21(3):148-150
8. Screening and management of asymptomatic infection of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
Chinese Journal of Preventive Medicine 2020;54(0):E025-E025
To date, the controlling of outbreak of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has entered into a critical period in China. Recently, work resumption and public place is planning to open outside of Hubei, suggesting an uncertain and complex development of the epidemic in the next stage. Few days ago, we conducted a study on the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of asymptomatic infections of COVID-19, and found them might be the infection source. We believe that the findings are critical for developing public health intervention strategies for controlling COVID-19 infection in the future. Screening among the high-risk population and improving the sensitivity of measurement may contribute to the detection and management of asymptomatic infection.

INTRODUCTIONPatients with obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) often present with excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) as measured by the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS). However, the relationship between EDS and OSA severity as measured by the apnoea-hypopnoea index (AHI) remains inconsistent. We hypothesise that this may be due to the usage and equal weightage of apnoea and hypopnoea events used in determining AHI and that apnoea and hypopnoea load as measured by their total durations may be a better metric to use. We sought to investigate if apnoea or hypopnoea load can display better correlation with ESS.
MATERIALS AND METHODSRetrospective analysis of 821 patients with AHI ≥5, who underwent in-laboratory polysomnogram for suspected OSA from January 2015-December 2015, was performed. Objective factors on polysomnogram were correlated with ESS.
RESULTSESS was correlated with age (r = -0.148, <0.001), number of apnoeas (r = 0.096, = 0.006), apnoea load (r = 0.102, = 0.003), apnoea index (r = 0.075, = 0.032), number of desaturations (r = 0.081, = 0.020), minimum SpO (r = -0.071, = 0.041), time SpO <85% (r = 0.075, = 0.031) and REM sleep duration (r = 0.099, = 0.004). Linear regression analysis found age ( <0.001), apnoea load ( = 0.005), REM ( = 0.021) and stage 1 sleep duration ( = 0.042) as independent factors correlated to ESS. The apnoea load calculated using duration in apnoea correlate with ESS in patients with severe OSA by AHI criteria compared to the mild category.
CONCLUSIONAHI does not correlate with ESS. Younger age, longer apnoea, stage 1 and REM sleep were independently related to higher ESS though the correlations were weak. Apnoea load should be taken into account when determining OSA severity.
