1.Changes of plasma fibrinogen and D-dimer in patients with lung cancer and the influence of interventional therapy
Journal of Practical Radiology 2014;(12):2058-2060
Objective To explore the clinical significance of plasma fibrinogen(FIB)and plasma D-dimer (D-D)changes involved in lung cancer patients before and after interventional therapy. Methods 23 patients with lung cancer,27 cases of normal control group collected at the same time,to compared the difference of plasma FIB between patients with lung cancer and the normal control group. All enrolled patients were treated with bronchial artery infusion chemotherapy.Plasma FIB and D-D of all patients were meas-ured before the first and the third interventional therapy. Results Plasma FIB value of patients before interventional therapy was sig-nificantly higher than that of the normal control group and the group after interventional therapy. The difference between the group after interventional therapy and the normal control group was no significant;Plasma D-D value of patients before and after interven-tional therapy was significant. Conclusion Changes of plasma FIB and D-D before and after interventional therapy in patients with lung cancer are significantly correlated with the severity of the disease and interventional therapy efficacy, which can be used as a ver-y meaningful indicator of interventional therapy.

Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) therapy of activating Du meridian, regulating mind and reinforcing the fundamental on learning and memory ability and plasma endothelin(ET) level in rats with vascular dementia(VD).Methods Healthy adult SD rats were randomized into pseudo-operation group(N=8),EA group(N=9,EA on the acupoints of Baihui,Dazhui,Pishu and Shenshu),nimodipine group(N=8,at the dose of 12mg/kg) and the model group(N=8).Rat models of VD were established by the modified 4-vascular occlusion(4-VO)method.Morris water maze test was used for the behavioral observation, and plasma ET level was measured by radioimmunoassay(RIA).Results Plasma ET level was increased obviously, the disorder of learning and memory ability was obvious and the escape latency in water maze was prolonged in the model group(P0.05).In EA group and nimodipine group, the escape latency was shortened(P0.05 compared with the pseudo-operation group). Conclusion The therapeutic mechanism of EA therapy of activating Du meridian, regulating mind and reinforcing the fundamental for VD is probably related with the regulation of plasma ET level and with the increase of learning and memory ability.

【Objective】 To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA) onlearning and memoryin vascular dementia (VD) rats andto explore its possible therapeutic mechanism.【Methods】Fifty specific pathogenfree(SPF) adult rats were randomizedintofour groups.Except the 8 rats in the pseudo-operation group(group A),the other 42 rats were induced cerebral ischemia by four-vessel occlusion method. Then the model rats were randomized into model group (group B),EAgroup(group C) and nimotop group(group D).Groups Aand B were fed with the same forage and received no medication.Group Creceived EAonthe acupoints of Baihui,Geshu,Pishu and Shenshu, and EAwas set in continuous wave with the frequency being 150Hz,once per day and lasting 15 consecutive days.Group Dreceived nimotop 12mg/kg,qd,for 15 consecutive days. After 15-day treatment, the learning and memory abilities of the rats were observed by Morris water test, the plasma carbon monoxide(CO) level was detected by double-wavelength spectrophotometer, and brain nitric oxide(NO) content was examined byspectrophotometry-colorimetry.【Results】The model rats had obvious disorders of learningand memory, their escapelatency was prolonged, thetimes swimmingacross the platforminthe original quadrant did not differ fromthose inthe other three quadrants, and plasma COand cerebral NOlevels were obviouslyincreased. In EAgroup, escapelatency was shortened, thetimes swimmingacrossthe platform inthe original quadrant were more thanthose inthe other three quadrants, and plasma COand cerebral NOlevels were obviously decreased(P

Objective To clinically observe and verificate the advantages of treating infantile anorexia of spleen-dysfunction in transportation with infantile massage and Chinese medicine based on the thought of “invigo-rating spleen and nourishing qi”. Methods Multi-central large-sample randomized controlled trial was carried out in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Foshan. Five hundreds cases of infantile anorexia of spleen-dysfunction in transportation were randomized into infantile massage group, Chinese medicine group, infantile massage combined with Chinese medicine group and Western medicine group and two sessions of treatment were required in each group. Separately, during the enrollment, after 2 sessions of treatment, infantile anorexia signs and symptoms scale , the related therapeutic effect criterion from clinical guideline of new drugs for traditional Chinese medicine, the expression level of hemoglobin and blood zinc were adopted for efficacy assessment. Results A mong 4 groups , the recovery rate and the total effective rate of infantile massage combined with Chinese medicine group were better than those of other groups (P < 0.05). The expression level of hemoglobin and blood zinc of 4 groups both increased obviously (all P < 0.01), but more improvement was found in infantile massage combined with Chinese medicine group (both P < 0.05). Conclusion The treatment of infantile anorexia with infantile massage and Chinese medicine based on the thought of invigorating spleen and nourishing qi has a significant effect.
