Objective: To evaluate the therapeutic effects of Rituximab combined with CHOP on B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Methods: A prospective study with concurrent control group was carried out. A total of 60 cases of B cell non-Hodgkin's lympoma were divided into 2 groups. The 30 cases in the research group received Rituximab combined with CHOP regimen. The 30 cases in the control group were treated with CHOP regimen alone. CHOP regimen (Cyclophospham 600mg/m~2 IV, Vincristine 1.4mg/m~2 Ⅳ, and Adriamy-cin piarubicin 50mg/m~2 IV) was administered on the first day of chemotherapy course. Prednisone 100mg/m~2 was administered orally from the first day to the fifth day. The cycle was repeated every 21 days and the patients received at least 3-6 cycles of chemotherapy. The therapeutic effect was assessed. Results: The complete remission (CR) rate and total response rate were 66.7% (20/30) and 90.0% (27/30) in the research group and 39.97% (12/30) and 56.7% (17/30) in the control group. The therapeutic differences between the two groups showed a statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: Compared with CHOP regimen chemotherapy, Rituximab combined with CHOP regimen shows better therapeutic effect. The side effects in the research group are similar to those in the control group. Rituximab combined with CHOP regimen can be the first choice in the treatment for B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

A method of direct injection and liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometric (LC-MS / MS) was developed for simultaneous determination of 5 aniline compounds including aniline, 3-nitroaniline, 4-nitroaniline, 2,6-dichloro-4-nitroaniline and hexanitrodiphenylamine in drinking water and source water. The samples were filtered using a 0. 22-μm polyethersulfone membrane prior to HPLC analysis. Five target compounds were chromatographically separated on an HSS T3 column with gradient elution. Chromatographic data were acquired by tandem mass spectrometric detection in multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) mode, and thus favorable resolutions of all target compounds were achieved within 4 min. Under the optimal analytical conditions, the peak area of each analyte and its concentration had a good correlation within the linear range (R≥0. 995). The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) of the method were 0. 773-1. 88 μg / L (S / N=3) and 2. 58-6. 27 μg / L (S / N=10), respectively. The intra- and inter-day relative standard deviations ( RSDs) of the mix standard solution were 0. 8% -1. 9% and 3. 3% -4. 9% , respectively. The spiked recoveries of the analytes were 84. 1% -105% and the RSDs of the spiked samples were 1. 0% -3. 1% . This proposed method was applied in the analysis of 35 samples from drinking water, source water and surface water, which indicated that the novel LC-MS / MS method could detect 5 aniline compounds in water without any complicated sample pretreatment in an accurate, sensitive and rapid way, and it also could provide technique support for evaluation of the contamination caused by aniline compounds.

With the increasing incidence and mortality of coronary heart disease (CHD) in China, the prevention and treatment of CHD is no time to delay. Since Professor Gruentzig completed the first human case of percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) in 1977, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) had reached to a new page. After three decades of development and change, PCI has been improved and matured gradually from the early PTCA to the current stent era. With the advent of stents, the rate of restenosis after PCI was significantly reduced from 30%-50% to 10%-20%. But stent restenosis was still with no total cure. The issue of how to prevent the stent restenosis has become a long-term major issue for the exploration in both clinical and preclinical medicine. Therefore, this paper reviewed the etiology, pathology, related risk factors, latest diagnosis methods, prevention and treatment of stent restenosis by integrative medicine.

This study was aimed to observe the safety and effectiveness ofShugan Jieyu Capsules in the treatment of vasovagal syncope (VVS) with mild-to-moderate depression and anxiety, and to compare the effect with Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets. A total of 89 VVS cases with mild-to-moderate depression and anxiety were randomly divided into 3 groups, which were group A (Shugan Jieyu Capsules group), group B (Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets) and group C (control group). Based on the conventional therapy of VVS treatment, treatments were given to all three groups for 8 weeks. And the negative conversion ratio of VVS in each group was observed. Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD 24 items) and Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) were evaluated for the calculation of reductive rate. Treatment emergent symptoms scale (TESS) was used in the evaluation of adverse reactions of both medications during the treatment. In the 12-month follow-up after treatment, the recurrence rate of syncope was observed in each group. The results showed that compared with pretreatment, HAMD-24 and HAMA scores of group A and group B after treatment were significantly reduced (P < 0.05). Compared with group C, the heat-up tilt testing-negative rate, HAMD-24 and HAMA reductive rate of group A and group B after treatment were significantly increased (P < 0.05). Compared with group B, the negative rate, HAMD-24 and HAMA reductive rate of group A were more significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, scores for TESS of group A was significantly lower than group B (P< 0.05). In the 24-month follow-up, the recurrence rate of syncope of group A and group B was significantly lower than group C (P < 0.05); and group A was obviously better than group B (P < 0.05). It was concluded thatShugan Jieyu Capsules can be used in the treatment of VVS with mild-to-moderate depression and anxiety. Its effectiveness and safety may be better than Flupentixol and Melitracen Tablets.

OBJECTIVETo explore arsenic accumulation and toxicity mechanism following long-term use of realgar and provide scientific basis for safety use of realgar in clinic.
METHODThe realgar which was used in the study contains 90% insoluble asenic sulfide (As2S2) and 1.696 mg x kg(-1) soluble arsenic. Two separate experiments were performed: 1) Twenty-eight fasting SD rats were orally given a single dose of realgar at the dose of 0.8 g x kg(-1) and the other four rats were given ultra-filtrated water served as control group. Blood, hearts, livers, kidneys, lungs and brains of four rats were taken out at 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 36 h respectively after treatment. Asenic quantity of each organ or blood sample was measured. 2) Forty SD rats were randomly divided into four groups: control group and realgar 0.02, 0.08, 0.16 g x kg(-1) groups, each group containing 5 females and 5 males. The rats were intra-gastrically treated with realgar once a day for successively 90 days, while the control group was given ultra-filtrated water. Asenic amount in blood, liver, kidney and brain of each rat was measured in fasting rats at 16 h after last dosing.
RESULTAsenic amount of blood, liver, kidney, heart, lung and brain increased after single dosing of realgar at dose of 0.16 g x kg(-1), with the order from high to low blood > kidney > lung > liver > heart > brain. Asenic amount was much higher in blood than that in other organs. The feature of asenic distribution in blood following realgar administration may be the basis for its use for leukemia Ninety-day oral treatment of realgar led to significant accumulation of asenic in blood, kidney, liver and brain. The highest asenic accumulation times was found in kidney followed by liver, which was assumed to be associated with nephrotoxicity and hepatotoxicity of realgar. The highest amount of asenic was observed in blood after 90 day's administration of realgar, and the amount of asenic in organs was in the order of blood > kidney > liver > brain.
CONCLUSIONAsenic can be absorbed and extensively distributed in various organs or tissesses after realgar administration in rats. Long-term use of realgar caused high asenic accumulation in various tissueses, including blood, kidney, liver, and brain. The nephrotoxicity and hepatotoxicity of realgar could be associated with the asenic accumulation in relative organs. Blood is the target of the most highest distribution and accamulation of asenic after realgar treatment, that could be associated with the efficacy of realgar on the treatment of leakemia.
