1.Effects of PCNA antisense oligonucleotide and VEGF gene transduction on restenosis after angioplasty

Objective To investigate the effect of antisense oligonucleofide(PCNA ASON)and vascuiar endothelial growth factor (VEGF) gene traneduction on restenosis after balloon angiopasty.Memods chinese rabbits were randomly divided into control group(I),PCNA ASON(II),VEGF only (Ⅲ),PCNA ASON+VEGF(Ⅳ)groups.Each group included 7 rabbits.Restenosis wasevaluated by pathology immunohistochemistry and Western-blotting for the expression of PCNA,and the depth and area oftunica media and tunicca intima were measured. Results All rabbits experienced restenosis on different severities,especially in control group.Lesions were less severe in PCNA ASON and VEGF groups than in controls.The proliferation of smooth muscle and intima significantly ameliorated in PCNA ASON and VEGF combination group that in PCNA ASON or VEGF groups(P<0.01).But the difference between the PCNA ASON and VEGF group was not significant(P>0.7). Conclusion PCNA ASON and VEGF gene transductionn are effective in preventing restenosis after balloon angioplasty caused vessel injury in rabbits.
2.High-flux versus low-flux hemodialysis for end-stage renal disease in the older adults

Objective:To investigate the effects of high-flux versus low-flux hemodialysis on end-stage renal disease in older adults and evaluate its effects on myocardial injury indexes and micro-inflammatory response indexes. Methods:Seventy-two patients with ESRD who received treatment in Affiliated Hospital of Shaoxing University from January 2019 to January 2020 were included in this study. They were randomly assigned to receive either low-flux hemodialysis (control group, n = 36) or high-flux hemodialysis (observation group, n = 36). All patients received 6 months of treatment. Micro-inflammatory response indexes and renal function indexes pre- and post-treatment, and reverse reactions were observed in each group. Results:Serum interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor α, and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels post-treatment in the observation group were (7.16 ± 1.32) ng/L, (2.10 ± 0.36) pg/L, (2.20 ± 1.06) mg/L respectively, which were significantly lower than those in the control group [(10.45 ± 1.42) ng/L, (5.22 ± 0.65) pg/L, (3.84 ± 1.57) mg/L, t = 10.19, 25.19, 5.19, all P < 0.001]. Serum parathyroid hormone, B-type natriuretic peptide, and cardiac troponin T levels post-treatment in the observation group were (520.36 ± 95.65) pmol/L, (0.45 ± 0.10) μg/L, (15.05 ± 6.37) ng/L, respectively, which were significantly lower than those in the control group [(830.25 ± 102.35) pmol/L, (0.85 ± 0.13) μg/L, (30.25 ± 6.59) ng/L, t = 13.27, 14.63, 9.95, all P < 0.001]. The total response rate was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group [75.00% (27/36) vs. 47.22% (19/36), χ2 = 3.85, P < 0.05]. The overall incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group [19.44% (7/36) vs. 41.67% (15/36), χ2 = 4.18, P < 0.05). Conclusion:High-flux hemodialysis can highly improve the control effect of micro-inflammatory responses and alleviate myocardial injury in older adult patients with end-stage renal disease. High-flux hemodialysis is more effective and safer than low-flux hemodialysis.
3.Prediction of isocitrate dehydrogenase status of glioma via diffusion tensor imaging parameters and clinical features

Objective To noninvasively predict isocitrate dehydrogenase(IDH)status of glioma via combining imaging and clini-cal features before surgery,so as to provide basis for individualized clinical treatment decision.Methods A total of 47 patients with glioma confirmed by pathological and molecular genetic tests were included,including 20 with IDH mutant type and 27 with IDH wild type.After diffusion tensor imaging(DTI)scanning,fractional anisotropy(FA)and mean diffusivity(MD)values of tumor paren-chyma were calculated.Combining DTI parameters with MRI morphological features of tumor,blood neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and patient's age,binary logistic regression model was established to effectively predict IDH status of glioma patients before surgery.Results There were significant differences in FAmean/FANAWM,MDmin,NLR,tumor location and age between IDH mutant type and IDH wild type groups(P<0.05).The binary logistic regression model concluding,FAmean/FANAWM,MDmin,cystic degeneration,NLR and age,predicted IDH status of glioma with area under the curve(AUC)of 0.961 and 95%confidence interval(CI)of 0.914-1.00.Conclusion The regression model established via combining DTI,MRI morphological features and blood NLR has great performance in classifying IDH status of glioma,and can help predict IDH status noninvasively before surgery,so as to assist clinical individualized treatment.

Spinal cord injury is a catastrophic injury causing lifelong severe disabilities, and poses a great burden to the individuals, families and society. In order to promote the standardization in treatment of traumatic spinal cord injury, the consensus on the evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of traumatic spinal cord injury was suggested by experts, who came from authoritative multicenter in China. The expert consensus, which formed a standardization process from the first aid clinical treatment to rehabilitation of spinal cord injury, shall give a better practical guide for clinic and rehabilitation physicians.
