Objective To investigate the effects of safflor yellow (SY) injection on acute lung injury (ALI) rats induced by oleic acid (OA) and its potential mechanism. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into six groups,including control group,OA group,OA+10 mg/kg anisodamine group,OA+8 mg/kg SY group,OA+16 mg/kg SY group,and OA+32 mg/kg SY group. Normal saline or anisodamine or SY were pretreated before 0.18 g/kg OA iv injection. The arterial partial pressure of oxygen,the pulmonary water content index,and MPO activity in lung tissue were determined; The mRNA level of TNF-?,IL-1?,IL-6,ICAM-1,and VCAM-1 were measured by RT-PCR; And NF-?B p65 protein in nucleus observed by immunohistochemical technology,while the level of p38 MAPK protein phosphorylation in lung tissue was analyzed by Western blotting. Results The arterial partial pressure of oxygen in all SY groups was higher than that in OA group,while the pulmonary water content index and MPO activity were lower than those in OA group,as well as the mRNA level of the above inflammatory cytokines and the NF-?B p65 in nucleus and level of p38 MAPK phosphorylation. Conclusion SY could alleviate the lung tissue edema,increase the arterial partial pressure of oxygen,and depress MPO activity in ALI rat induced by OA. The SY mechanism of attenuating the acute lung injury may be associated with inhibiting the p38 phosphorylation and NF-?B activation and reducing inflammatory factors expression.

Methods With Padua Inventory (PZ) ,AQ and Systemizing Quotient (SQ), 1901 college students were assessed with stratified random sampling survey. Objective To observe the latency and amplitude characteristics of event-related potential P300 under different target stimu-lus. Methods During January to December, 2014, 35 patients with memory impairment received P300 test under the percentage of target stimuli of 0.10 and 0.25. The latency, amplitude and area under amplitude were compared. Results There was no significant difference in la-tency (t<0.256, P>0.800), but the amplitude and area under amplitude increased under 0.10 compared with those under 0.25 (t>4.259, P<0.05). Conclusion Less target stimulation may improve the patients' attention and increase amplitude of P300, but no more interference in la-tency, suggesting latency of P300 is more stable for assessment of cognitive function.

Objective To investigate the effects of ulinastatin on the number of peripheral blood lymphocyte and the percentage of its subsets in patients with severe sepsis. Methods The scores of APECHE II and SOFA, the number of lymphocyte and the percentage of different subsets in these sepsis patients at different treatment time were measured. Results After treatment, the scores of APECHE II and SOFA of severe sepsis patients were decreased, the number of lymphocyte elevated and the percentages of different subset were corrected. Sepsis caused by Gram- positive pathogens had stronger suppression of peripheral blood lymphocyte and subsets compared with Gram - negative pathogens. Conclusion Patients with severe sepsis had less peripheral blood lymphocyte and abnormal subsets. Ulinastatin could help to correct such abnormality.
