Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(8):17-20
Objective To investigate the psychological state of high-risk pregnancy mothers af-ter being separated from their newborns and discuss the influencing factors of psychological state. Methods Nonexperimental descriptive study was used in this study. The investigation adopted state-trait anxiety inventory (STA-Ⅰ) and Edinburgh postnatal depression scale (EPDS). Results The moth-ers' anxiety score was significantly higher than normal women in China, and postnatal depression inci- dence rate was 57.9%. Mothers' psychological state was correlated with gestational age of new-borns, trait anxiety and pregnancy complications. Conclusions The psychological state of high- risk pregnancy mothers after being separated from their newborns should be paid more attention to, and cor-related nursing methods should be taken to improve their mental health.
2.New progress on research of catheter-related bloodstream infection
International Journal of Surgery 2012;39(1):30-33
The major pathogenic bacterium of catheter-related bloodstream infection is gram-positive bacteria. The occurrence of catheter-related bloodstream infection is related with exogenous factors and endogenous factors. It is suggested that catheter-related bloodstream infection should be diagnosed without removing the catheter. It is shown that the catheter should be removed and the patient should use antibiotics as soon as possible if catheter-related bloodstream infection occurred.Buliding a detection system, using antimicrobial dressings and antimicrobial central catheters, and improving patient's nutritional status can decrease the morbidity of catheter-related bloodstream infection. The authors summarize the epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention strategies of catheter-related bloodstream infection.

Objective:To investigate the changes of lymphocyte subsets and the serum levels of IgE in the children with allergic rhinitis, and to analyze the relationship between lymphocyte subsets and IgE.Methods:CD3+,CD4+,CD8+CD19+,CD4+CD25+,CD16+56+lymphocyte subsets were measured by flow cytometry ,IFN-γ,IL-4,IL-5 of serum were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)and the serum level of total IgE was detected by immuno turbidimetric assays in 86 cases of children with allergic rhinitis and 76 cases of healthy children.Results:CD19+B lymphocyte subsets ,the ratio of CD4+and CD8+,IL-4 ,IL-5 and the serum levels of IgE were increased in the children with allergic rhinitis groups as compared with healthy children , the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05);CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4+CD25+,CD16+56+lymphocyte subsets and IFN-γwere lower than the control group ( P<0.05 );there was a correlation between B lymphocyte subsets and IgE in the children with allergic rhinitis.Co nclusion:Lymphocyte dysfunction and Th1/Th2 ratio imbalance may be related to the pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis ,and IgE,IFN-γ,IL-4 and IL-5 play important roles in children with allergic rhinitis.
5.Analysis of the relationship between state trait anxiety and behavioral status in patients with sudden deafness
Chinese Archives of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery 2017;24(7):351-354
OBJECTIVE To investigate the relationship between state trait anxiety and behavioral status in patients with sudden deafness. METHODS From April 2015 to June 2016, 140 cases of hospitalized patients with sudden hearing loss were selected as the observation group, and 140 healthy volunteers in our hospital for medical examination were selected as the control group. Average data, state trait anxiety, quality of life, and behavior survey were investigated in the two groups and correlation analysis was conducted. RESULTS The state trait anxiety score of the observation group was 51.20±4.19 points, and the control group was 34.40±3.49 points, and the state trait anxiety score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(t=12.949, P<0.05). The scores of physical, compulsive, interpersonal sensitivity, hostility and depression in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). The problem solving and help scores in the observation group were significantly lower than that of the control group, while the fantasy and self accusation scores was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). In the observation group, Pearson correlation analysis shows anxiety scores were significantly correlated to the dimensions scores of quality of life, fantasy and self accusation scores(P<0.05), and were significantly negative correlated to the problem solving and help scores (P<0.05). CONCLUSION The patients with sudden deafness is accompanied by state trait anxiety and fantasy, self accusation and other bad behavior, it can seriously affect the patient's quality of life and form vicious circle, so the nursing intervention should be strengthened in clinical practice.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2010;26(25):25-27
Objective The aim of this study is to provide guidance on rehabilitation nursing via observing the effect of comprehensive relaxation training on perioperative psychological stress in patients with coronary intervention treatment. Methods In this study, eighty patients ready to receive coronary intervention were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group (40 patients in each). The control group were treated with routine percutaneous coronary intervention care, and the experimental group received both comprehensive relaxation training and routine care. The anxiety state and subjective feelings on comprehensive relaxation training in both groups were dynamically investigated via State-Trait Anxiety Inventory questionnaire and subjective feeling questionnaire from pre-operation to 7 days after operation. Results Anxiety levels between two groups showed the similar trend, and there was statistically significance between two groupsin the state anxiety level. The subjective feeling in the experimental group improved. Conclusions The psychological stress in patients receiving coronary intervention surgery maintains at high level form pre-operation to 24h post operation, and comprehensive relaxation training can significantly reduce the level of state anxiety. These patients consider that this simple training shows obvious relaxing effect.

Objective To investigate the incidence of nosocomial infection of placing peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) and venous port acess(VPA) in children with leukemia. Methods 60 cases with leukemia were treated in our hospital from January 2005 to September 2009.35 cases were mail, 25 cases were femail.Their ages ranged from 2.0 to 16.5 years old.42 cases fell to the PICC group, hospital-ization for 202 times, 18 cases belonged to the VPA group, hospitalization for 109 times. The incidence of infection in hospital, infection site, common pathogens and prognosis of two groups were analyzed retro-spectively.Results The incidence of fever and increasing of C-reactive protein of the PICC group were significantly lower than those of the VPA group. There was no difference of the incidence of white blood cells decreasing between two groups. The incidence of infection in hospital in the PICC group was 38.61%, higher than 28.44% of the VPA group. Their difference was significant. There was significant difference of the distribution of infection between two groups. There was no significant difference of the major pathogens of sputum culture and blood culture between two groups. Conclusions Using venous port acess(VPA) could reduce the incidence of infection in hospital compared using peripherally insertied central catheters in children with leukemia, so venous port acess( VPA ) may be safer.

Objective To investigate the prognostic value of the changes in serum CA125 level during chemotherapy post-surgery in patients with advaneed epithelial ovarian carcinoma. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 142 patients with stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ epithelial ovarian carcinoma who had primary treatment in the Cancer Center of the Sun Yat-sen University during January 1998 to December 2003.The changes in CA125 levels during chemotherapy post-surgery in patients were analyzed. The survival outcomes of patients with various levels of CA125 were studied using Kaplan-Meier method.Multivariate Cox regression model Wag used to aggess the correlations between survival and the change in CA125 level during chemotherapy and other prognostic factors. Results The 3-year overall survival(OS)was 64%,71%,and 64%respectively in patients with different pretreatment CA125 levels(≤500,>500-1500 and>1500 kU/L;P>0.05).The CA125 level was normalized(0-35 kU/L)in 77(54.2%)patients after three cycles of postoperative chemotherapy. It revealed significant differences in 3-year OS(84%vs.42%)and 5-year OS(56%vs.15%)between the patients with normalized and elevated CA125 levels(n=48)after three cycles of chemothempy(P<0.01).Multivariate analysis showed that residual tumor size>1 cm(P<0.01)and elevated CA125 after three-cycle postoperative chemotherapies(P<0.01)were two independent factors related to survival. In the subgroup of optimal cytoreduction(residual tumor size≤1 cm),the 3-year and 5-year OS rate were 88%and 64%for patients with normalized CA125 level after three cycles of chemotherapy respectively, while only 52%and 18%for patients with elevated CA125 level(P<0.01).Similarly,even in the suboptimal cytoreduction group, the 3-year and 5-year OS were also significantly increased for patients with normalized CA125 level after three cycles of chemotherapy post-surgery,as compared with patients with elevated CA125 level(74%vs.33%in 3-year OS,32%vs.13%in 5-year OS;P<0.01).Conclusions CA125 level after three cycles of chemotherapy post-surgery is an independent predictor of survival for advanced ovarian carcinoma.Whatever the patients undergo, optimal or suboptimal cytoreduction, ifthe CA125 becomes normalized after three cycles of chemotherapy, they would have more favorable prognosis than those with elevated CA125 after three cycles of chemotherapy.
