BACKGROUND:Nasolabial fold flap has been widely used in clinical surgery. The facial artery anatomy has been widely used in clinical research. Angular artery dissection is becoming more and more important to nasolabial groove area surgery, but at present, there is a lack of anatomical analysis of internal angular artery.
OBJECTIVE:To study the anatomy of the angular artery, and to provide anatomical data for protecting the nasolabial flap during surgery.
METHODS:Twenty sides of adult cadaver specimens on head and face were dissected. A reference coordinate system was made based on the line between the connection of two medial angles of eyes (axis X) and the facial midline line (axis Y). The location of the angular artery was measured taking A-F as reference points.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) The slant angles of the angular artery on BC section, CD section, DE section and EF section were (11.1±4.3)°, (34.1±8.8)°, (21.5±10.5)°, and (17.0±4.7)°, respectively. (2) The angular artery sourced from facial artery was more than it sourced from ophthalmic artery. The diameter of right blood vessel was larger than that of left side. (3) The angular artery sourced from ophthalmic artery comes from the location which extended 8.1 mm to both sides from the point which was 10 mm up from the intersection of facial medial angle of eyes connection and midline. The blood vessel diameter of the starting point was (0.7±0.2) mm. The whole range was 20.1 mm. (4) The angular artery sourced from facial artery comes from the location which extended 25.8 mm to both sides from the point which was 40 mm down to the intersection of facial medial angle of eyes connection and midline. The blood vessel diameter of the starting point was (0.9±0.3) mm. Point to the wing of nose the lateral distance was (5.0±1.2) mm. The whole range was 68.7 mm. The surface projecting of angular artery coming from research results provided anatomic basis for surgery of nasolabial flap.

Objective To analyze the new breeding of eggplant "HANGQIE-5"(HQ-5) generated by space mutagenesis with RAPD,identify the differential RAPD bands, and try to provide molecular proofs for space mutation breeding. Methods Dry seeds of two eggplants "Tianshuichangqie(TSCQ)" and Longguoyuanqie(LGYQ) were carried by "shenzhou-4" and "shenzhou-3"spaceship.Two mutant lines "TSCQ-MUT-4" and "LGYQ-MUT-4" were selected after four generations of self-cross of TSCQ and LGYQ.A new variety of "HQ-5" was selected by crossing the two lines of "TSCQ-MUT-4" and "LGYQ-MUT-4",which were male and female, respectively. The RAPD reaction system was optimized with orthogonal design and further RAPD analysis was applied. Results The RAPD reaction system was determined as follows: DNA: 40 ng,dNTPs: 7.5 nmol, primer: 10 ng,and rTaq polymerase: 1.25 U.The RAPD results displayed that TSCQ-MUT-4 produced four differential bands compared with its wild type, while LGYQ-MUT-4 produced one, through space flight.Six differential fragments were amplified between HQ-5 and the paternal/maternal.HQ-5 not only shared the common fragments with its parents, but also held some particular ones, which were stably inherited. Conclusion The results indicate that space mutagenesis could cause mutations in DNA of plants, and is helpful to generate a new breeding.

The educational purpose of "three-wide education" is in line with the overall goal of talent cultivation in colleges and universities, and fits the development laws of ideological and political work in colleges and universities in the new era. It is an important measure to leverage the joint efforts of education and improve the quality of education. Under the concept of "three-wide education", medical ethics education in higher vocational medical colleges lacks systematization and big data support, medical students’ "knowing morality" and "conducting morality" are not unified, the content of medical ethics teaching is outdated, and teaching methods are single, which is inconsistent with students’ innovative cognitive thinking and derailed from clinical and social real needs, making it difficult to arouse students’ interest in learning. Against the backdrop of continuously improving professional literacy requirements for medical students, this paper explored the medical ethics education path of "combining moral and technical education" for vocational medical students under the concept of "three-wide education", and formed training paths such as "three integration of medical ethics, three progressions of knowledge and action", the coordinated education of ideological and political courses and ideological and political education in the course, the "trinity" of school, family, and society, the innovative multi-dimensional medical ethics education teaching methods, the construction of a medical ethics practice platform, and the establishment of medical ethics cultural education data management platforms, with a view to providing reference ideas for the cultivation of medical ethics among vocational medical students.

To investigate the effect and mechanism of metformin on intestinal epithelial barrier injury in ulcerative colitis. A cell model of colitis was established by co-culture of human colon cancer cell line Caco-2 and human monocyte cell line THP-1. The colitis model cells were treated with metformin at concentration of for Flow cytometry was used to detect Caco-2 cell apoptosis, and Western blotting was used to detect the protein expression of tight junction proteins and endoplasmic reticulum stress-related proteins. After metformin treatment, the apoptosis rate of Caco-2 cells was decreased from (14.22±2.34)% to 0.61)% (=3.119, <0.05), and the expression levels of tight junction protein-1 and claudin-1 increased (=5.172 and 3.546, both <0.05). In addition, the expression levels of endoplasmic reticulum-related proteins glucose regulated protein (GRP) 78, C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP) and caspase-12, as well as the phosphorylation level of PRKR-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase (PERK) and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2α (eIF2α) decreased (all <0.05). Metformin may alleviate the intestinal epithelial barrier damage in colitis by reducing intestinal epithelial cell apoptosis and increasing the expression of tight junction proteins, which may be associated with the inhibition of endoplasmic reticulum stress-induced apoptotic pathway.
