Objective To investigate the treatment effectsand safety of ifosfamide, nedaplatin with pharmorubicin in relapsed ovarian carcinoma. Methods Sixteen relapsed ovarian carcinoma patients received nedaplatin 150mg in 0.9% sodium chloride 500ml dl,intravenously;pharmorubicin 40mg in 5% glucose 50 ml d1-2,intravenously;and ffosfamide 2.0g in 0.9% sodium chloride 500ml d1-5,intravenously.And the treatment effects and side effects were investigated. Results Of the sixteen patients, one had a complete response, six had a partial response, seven had stable disease, and two had progressive disease. The overall response rate was 43.75%(7/16).The major side effects were bone marrow suppression and gastrointestinal reaction. Conclusion Combination of ffosfamide, nedaplatin and pharmorubicin were very effective in relapsed ovarian carcinoma and the side effects were tolerable. Therefore the regimen is worth promoting in the clinical application.

Objective To discuss the importance and methods of nursing care in patients treated with coronary rotational atherectomy combined with percutaneous coronary intervention ( PCI) . Methods Totals of 30 patients treated with coronary rotational atherectomy from June 2012 to December 2013 were retrospectively analyzed. Results All of 30 patients had multi-vessel complex coronary artery lesions, and most of them had 1 to 2 vessels with chronic total occlusion companied with severe calcification which could be seen clearly under X ray. Rotational atherectomy was performed in the left anterior descending artery among 28 patients, and in the right coronary artery between 2 patients. Stents were placed through the calcified lesions post rotational atherectomy. Under intensive nursing care, 11 patients had different complications but without any death. Conclusions Rotational atherectomy is performed in patients with severe calcified coronary lesions, which always combined with complex lesions and hard to deal with. So it is reasonable that the procedure should be performed in big heart centers and by experienced doctors. Nurses in the lab should be familiar with the operation devices and have the experience in emergency events and complications. Intensive nursing care can ensure the safety and success of the operation.

In this study, the mature peptide sequence of a pectin lyase gene A was amplified from Aspergillus niger strain EIM-6 by using RT-PCR reverse transcription technique. The cloned gene was then inserted into a Pichia pastoris expression vector pPIC9k to produce the recombinant expression plasmid pPIC9K-pelA. By using electric shocks, we successfully transformed the recombinant pPIC9K-pelA into Pichia pastoris GS115. The activity of the engineered strain reached to 2.3 U/mL after induction with the final concentration of 1.5% methanol. SDS-PAGE analysis revealed that the pPIC9K-pelA transformant had an additional protein band of approximately 38 kD, which was not present in the control. There were no significant differences between the recombinant and native pectin lyase with regard to their hydrolysis activities.
