Objective To explore the relationships between the cystoid type and the sclerous type polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS). Methods We compared the similarities and differences between the two types of PCOS by blood sex hormone measuring,laparoscopy,pathomorphology and so on in 19 patients with cystoid type PCOS,26 with sclerous type PCOS and 10 controlled age-matched non-PCOS women.Results There was no remarkable difference in the sex hormone level between the two groups of PCOS.Compared with the patients with cystoid type PCOS,the patients with sclerous type PCOS had longer course of disease,thicker ovarian tunica albuginea,more collagen,and hyperplasia medulla and stroma.Conclusion The cystoid type PCOS could develop into the sclerous type PCOS when the disease progressed.

BACKGROUND:The anesthesia process is required strict in establishing rabbit models of ileal neobladder. It is required for cleaning operation field, quick postoperative recovery, and the choice of anesthetics and anesthesia does not influence smooth muscle peristalsis. OBJECTIVE:To compare the anesthetic effects between urethane and chloral hydrate in rabbits with ileal neobladder. METHODS:Eighteen rabbits were randomly assigned to urethane and chloral hydrate groups, and were respectively anesthetized with 20% urethane 5 mL/kg and 10% chloral hydrate 2 mL/kg through the ear vein. Double ureter was dissociated at 1 cm outside original bladder, and 15 cm-intestine obtained from 10 cm of ileocecal junction was implanted so as to establish models of ileal neobladder. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Heart rates were significantly lower compared with these before anesthesia in al cases (P≤ 0.05), but no differences were detected between two groups (P > 0.05). Compared with the chloral hydrate group, the maintain time and recovery time were longer and the mortality rate was higher in the urethane group. Above data indicated that chloral hydrate is a safe long-acting anesthetic in establishing rabbit models of ileal neobladder.

Objective To investigate the illness-related stigma in outpatients with chronic viral hepatitis B and C and its effects on interaction anxiousness and general self-efficacy.Methods Forty-eight patients with chronic hepatitis B ( CHB),41 patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC) and 29 healthy volunteers were enrolled.Hepatitis-related Stigma Questionnaire (HRSQ) produced by researchers was used to assess stigma in patients of both CHB and CHC.All patients and healthy volunteers were evaluated by Interaction Anxiousness Scale (IAS),General Self-efficacy Scale (GSES) and Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ).Results Hepatitis-related stigma was common in both CHB and CHC.The most common positive items and their percentages of CHB and CHC were rejection in job seeking (81.2％,75.6％ ), keeping conditions about hepatitis secret (72.9％,75.6％ ),feeling discrimination in society (66.7％,56.1％ ) and rejection in mate selection (60.4％,61.0％ ),and the rarest ones and percentages were feeling lowest stress together with patients with the same disease (35.4％,31.7％ ) and being understood only by patients with the same disease (33.3％,26.8％ ).Differences of positive percentages of any items between CHB and CHC were not statistically significant (P ＞0.05 ).One-way ANOVA showed that difference of IAS scores among three groups of participants was not statistically significant ;and GSES score of CHB(2.41 ± 0.45 )was not statistically different from that of CHC (2.49 ±0.60 ),but they both were lower than that of healthy control (2.78 ± 0.52) (F=4.648,P =0.011 ).The multivariate stepwise regression analysis showed that the item feeling much different from others of HRSQ entered the formula of CHB IAS score (B =4.861,adjustment R2 =0.106),and the item being understood only by patients with the same disease of HRSQ entered the formula of CHC IAS score (B =6.745,adjustment R2 =0.113);negative coping dimension score of SCSQ ( B =- 0.424),the item feeling discrimination in society ( B =-0.359) and feeling lowest stress together with patients with the same disease ( B =-0.274) entered the formula of CHB GSES score (adjustment R2 =0.280).Conclusion Illness-related stigma is common in outpatients with chronic viral hepatitis,which probably raises patients' interaction anxiousness and weakens the general selfefficacy of patients with hepatitis B and C.

A mouse model for acute hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection was established by using the hydrodynamical injection of mouse tail vein, in which the immunocompetent BALB/c mice were hydrodynamically injected with a competent replication plasmid pAAV-HBV1.2 having 1.2 fold over-length of HBV DNA. On day 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8 after injection, the levels of HBsAg, HBeAg and HBV DNA in blood serum were detected by using ELISA and fluorogenic quantitative PCR assay (FQ-PCR). And on day 8. HBsAg and HBeAg in liver tissue were assayed by immunohistochemical staining. It was found that HBsAg in blood serum could be detected on day 1 after infection in 14 of 16 mice (85.7%) injected with pAVV-HBV1.2 by using ELISA assay and the peak levels of HBsAg and HBeAg were attained during the first day after injection and then it dropped down gradually up to day 8 following injection. The titer of HBV DNA in blood serum attained its peak on day 2 and maintained a high level later on. On day 8 after injection, its titer was 1.9×10~4 copies/mL. The percentage of HBcAg-positive hepatocytes and HBsAg-positive hepatocytes in liver tissues were 5% and 2% respectively. Thus, by using the hydrodynamic injection with the competent replication plasmid, a mouse model for acute HBV infection is successively developed.

Objective To investigate the effects of glycol mannate sulfate(GMS) on thrombogenesis.Methods The thrombogenesis was observed by carotid artery and cervical vein bypass and the thrombus was weighted.Thrombogenesis in common carotid artery was induced by electric stimulation.Mice mesentery microthrombus formation was induced by laser.Pulmonary thromboembolism was induced by injection of arachidonic acid.Plasma fibrinogen of rats was measured.Results GMS 25,50 mg?kg~(-1) could decrease the weight of thrombus cohered on suture silk significantly;25,12.5 mg?kg~(-1) of GMS could prolong the obstruction time;GMS 35.7,71.4 mg?kg~(-1) could delay the formation of mice mesentery microthrombus;GMS 40,80 mg?kg~(-1) could decrease the mortality induced by arachidonic acid injection.At the dosages of 25,50 and 100 mg?kg~(-1)GMS could decrease the fibrinogen in plasma.Conclusion GMS could inhibit the thrombogenesis significantly.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a HPLC method for determining the contents of rhein and emodin in Jianfei Jiangzhi tablets.METHODS:Stationary phase was Waters Symmetry C 18 (250mm?4.6mm;5?m),mobile phase was menthol-0.01%H 3 PO 4 (90∶10),detection wavelength440nm,flow rate1.0ml/min and column temperature30℃.RESULTS:There was good linearity in range of0.108?g～0.468?g for rhein and in range of0.180?g～0.480?g for emodin.The average recoveries of rhein and emodin were99.7%and98.6%respectively;RSD were1.93%and2.19%respectively.CONCLUSION:This method is rapid and accurate.It can be applied to effective control of the quality of Jianfei Jiangzhi tablet.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of temporary loop ligation of the infrarenal abdominal aorta for control ofintraoperative blood loss in patients with pernicious placenta previa.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 14 patients with pernicious placenta previa,who underwent temporary loop ligation of the infrarenal abdominal aorta for control of blood loss during cesarean section between July 2013 and December 2014.Results:Eight patients received conservative management to preserve the uterus and 6 patients underwent cesarean hysterectomy.The occlusion time of the abdominal aorta was (31.42±12.67) min.The average estimated intraoperative blood loss was (1 117.85±745.13) mL.The volume of packed red blood cell transfusion was (3.91±3.24) units,and the volume of fresh frozen plasma transfusion was (192.85± 156.71) mL.Post-operative histologic diagnosis revealed 6 cases of placenta percreta,4 of increta,3 of accreta and 1 non-creta.All patients experienced an uneventful postoperative recovery.Conclusion:In patients with pernicious placenta previa,temporary ligation of the infrarenal abdominal aorta provide a safe and effective means for controlling intraoperative hemorrhage during cesarean section.Additionally,the procedure may provide an opportunity to preserve fertility by avoiding a cesarean hysterectomy.

Objective:To explore the mental health status of overseas medical students during the COVID-19 epidemic, so as to provide references for the improvement of their mental health level.Methods:Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) was applied to make a survey online among 118 overseas medical students. SPSS 19.0 was used for statistical analysis, and independent sample ttest and univariate analysis were conducted between the groups. Results:The analysis showed that during the COVID-19 epidemic, the scores of SCL-90 factors of overseas medical students in China were significantly higher than those of Chinese youth norms ( P<0.001). The top four scores were as follows: obsessive-compulsive symptoms > paranoia ideation > interpersonal sensitivity > depression. The positive screening rate for SCL-90 of the overseas students was 40.4%. The scores of male overseas students were significantly higher than those of female students ( P<0.01). The scores of overseas students living outside China at present were significantly higher those of students living in China and on campus ( P<0.001). Conclusion:The mental health status of the overseas medical students needs to be attached great importance during the COVID-19 epidemic. Targeted psychological counseling and intervention should be given to foreign students both staying outside China and those on campus.

Objective To know about the influence of quality control based on Gantt chart on work quality and stress,so as to explore effective method of management suitable for them.Methods 52 nurses from the eastern zone of a three A-level hospital in Jiujiang City were randomly selected as the experimental group,they were implemented with Gantt chart management.Another 52 nurses from the western zone of the same hospital were selected as the control group,they were executed traditional experience-based management.The scores of quality of care and nurses stress were compared between the two groups.Results For the score of the quality of care,the experimental group was higher;,for the score of the nurses stress,the experimental group was lower in the overall sides,and the differences were significant except those of the working environment and equipment,which showed no significant difference between two groups.Conclusions Gantt management method can significantly improve the quality of care,moreover,effectively alleviate the nurses'stress.
