Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2014;(1):116-117,120
Objective To investigate the clinical efifcacy of albuterol sulfate aerosol inhalation and theophylline tablets in emergency senile asthma. Method 112 cases of elderly patients with asthma in our hospital from October 2009 to October 2013 were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group. Patients in the control group were treated with albuterol sulfate inhalation aerosol therapy, the experimental group were treated with albuterol sulfate inhalation aerosol therapy and oral theophylline release tablets, the therapeutic effect between two groups were compared after treatment. Results After two months of treatment, asthma symptoms and lung function in both groups were improved , but the degree of improvement in experimental group were signiifcantly better than control group , the difference was signiifcant (P<0.05);the incidence of adverse reactions in experimental group was signiifcantly lower than control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of albuterol sulfate aerosol inhalation and oral theophylline tablets treatment of acute asthma in the elderly better, is the drug of choice for clinical treatment , worthy of clinical application and promotion.

Clinical Medicine of China 2010;26(9):990-992
Objective To investigate the efficiency of meropenem in treating secondary peritonitis in newborn infant. Methods Twenty-four newborn infants with secondary peritonitis were treated by meropenem from January 2006 to June 2009 in Tianjin Childrens Hospital. The therapeutic effects were evaluated in the 24 cases. Results Twenty-one patients revealed positive of germiculture and 30 germ strains were isolated from the culture. After the treatment with meropenem, complete cure were observed in 21 newborns. One case gave up treatment, and the other two died. Overall bacterial clearance rate was 86. 7%. Both the clinical cure rate and the total cure rate were 87.5%. The clinical effect consisted with bacteriological effect. Conclusions Meropenem is effective and safe in the treatment of secondary peritonitis in newborn infant.

BACKGROUND: Stromal cell-derived factor 1 (SDF1), a potential inhibitor of infection by lymphophilic HIV-1 strains, can help to block the pathway of HIV-1 invasion into the human body.OBJECTIVE: Genotype and polymorphism of SDF1-3 'A allele associated with HIV-1 infection were investigated in She Ethnic Group in the south of China so as explore the possible causes of uninfection by HIV-1 strains among this population.DESIGN: Single sample study.SETTING: Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Gannan Medical College.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 186 She Ethnic subjects without HIV-1 infection collected randomly from those whose three generations belonged to She Ethnic Group, and inhabited in Qianshan County of Jiangxi Province,Ningde area of Fujian Province and Jingning She County of Zhejiang Province, from January to December 1995.METHODS: The whole blood samples from 186 She Ethnic subjects were collected randomly, and then their genomic DNA samples were extracted respectively. Allelic polymorphism was examined by the polymerase chain reaction and restriction-fragment-length polymorphisms (PCR-RFLP).MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The distribution of SDF1-3'A allele in She Ethnic Group in the south of China.RESULTS: The data of 186 She Ethnic subjects entered the result analysis without any loss in the midway. The frequency of SDF1-3 'A allele in She Ethnic Group samples was 19.6%, and the allelic distribution of the gene was in accordance with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. No difference was found between male and female individuals.CONCLUSION: The frequency of SDF1-3 'A allele of She Ethnic Group in the south of China was similar to that of Dai Nationality in Yunnan.Based on its slow-down effect on clinical course of AIDS, the mutation of SDF1-3'A is significant in the prevention and treatment of AIDS in She Ethnic Group in the south of China.

Organ Transplantation 2019;10(1):74-
Objective To summarize the experience of perioperative treatment of lung transplantation for end-stage lung disease. Methods Perioperative clinical data of 7 recipients undergoing lung transplantation were retrospectively analyzed, including 3 cases with bilateral lung transplantation and 4 cases with unilateral lung transplantation. The perioperative status and clinical prognosis of lung transplantation recipients were observed. Results The operation time of 7 lung transplantation recipients was (344±133) min. Cold ischemia time was (236±74) min in 4 cases of single-lung transplantation and (480±120) min in 3 cases of bilateral-lung transplantation. The length of Intensive care unit(ICU) stay was 21 (13-25) d and the length of hospital stay was 101 (64-117) d. In the first 3 d after surgery, the daily fluid output was significantly larger than the fluid input (all

Objective:
To investigate the mechanical effects during en-mass retraction of maxillary anterior teeth with clear aligner using three-dimensional finite element method.
Methods:
Cone-beam CT (CBCT) was used to scan a female orthodontic patient (26 years old, from Department of Orthodontics, Stomatological Hospital of Chongqing Medical University) whose maxillary first premolars were extracted and maxillary dentition had been aligned and leveled. A finite element model including maxillary teeth-periodontal ligament (PDL)-alveolar bone-clear aligner was established by using Mimics 17.0, SolidWorks 2016 and Geomagic Studio 2015 software packages. The process of 0.2 mm en-mass retraction of anterior teeth using clear aligner was simulated by using non-linear contact method of Abaqus 6.14. The trend and displacement of maxillary teeth, the stress distribution of PDL and alveolar fossae, and the deformation trend of clear aligner were obtained and analyzed.
Results:
Under the experimental condition, lingual crown tipping and distal tipping movement of anterior teeth were observed, and all of them had the tendency of overbite increasing. The maximum displacement of the central incisor, lateral incisor and canine were 25.16, 50.34 and 24.98 μm, respectively. Meanwhile, the second premolar, first molar and second molar had the tendency of mesial tipping movement, and the maximum displacement of them were 33.04, 2.90 and 16.63 μm, respectively. The stress distribution both at the PDL and alveolar fossae were consistent with tooth movement pattern. It was noted that the stress in the PDL of the canine and second premolar were comparatively big, and the corresponding apical areas of alveolar fossae appeared stress concentration. Concurrently, it was found that the clear aligner showed stress concentration at the junction of adjacent teeth with a tendency of crown directional dislocation.
Conclusions
During en-mass retraction of anterior teeth with clear aligner, attention should be paid to the overbite and torque in anterior teeth, and the anchorage protection of posterior teeth. At the same time, we should be careful of root resorption of the teeth on both sides of the extraction space.
