1.Content Determination of Paeoniflorin in Fuliang Capsules by HPLC

OBJECTIVE: To establish HPLC method for the content determination of paeoniflorin in Fuliang capsules.METHODS: HPLC was carried out on Shim-pack VP-ODS C18(150 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) column with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid solution(15 ∶ 85).The detection wavelength was set at 230 nm at flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1.RESULTS: The linear range of paeoniflorin were 12.84~102.72 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 7) with an average recovery of 100.18%(RSD=1.46%,n=6).CONCLUSION: The method is simple,sensitive and accurate for quality control of Fuliang capsules.
2.Effect of Partial Body Weight Support Training on Cerebral Palsy Children with Spasticity Diplegia

Objective To observe the effect of partial body weight support training (PBWST) on walking ability of cerebral palsy (CP) children with spasticity diplegia.Methods 60 CP children with spasticity dilegia were randomly divided into the PBWST group and control group with 30 cases in each group. All cases were treated by traditional physical treatment, but those of the PBWST group were added with PBWST. The changes of walking ability and endurance of all cases before and after treatment were observed.Results After treatment, the walking ability and endurance of the cases in two groups improved significantly, but the effect of the PBWST group was obviously superior to the control group ( P<0.05), especially in walking endurance ( P<0.001).Conclusion PBWST can improve the walking ability of CP children with spasticity diplegia and already having walking ability.
3.Application of self-made pelvic bag in treatment for patients with unstable pelvic fracture

Objective To explore the effect of the self-made pelvic bag on patients with unstable pelvic fracture.Methods Toally 24 patients with unstable pelvic fracture from January 2013 to June 2014 were set as control group and used conventional nursing.Toally 30 patients from July 2014 to December 2015 were set as observation group.The self-made pelvic bag was used in the observation group for pelvic fixation and suspension traction.The degree of pain was compared between the pre-and post-use of the bag.Result The pains after using pelvic bag in the observation group were significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.001).Conclusions The self-made pelvic bag can be effective for the pelvic fixation and suspension for the patients with pelvic traction.At the same time it can relieve the pain.
4.Chemical constituents in Rabdosia excisoides

Objective To study the chemical components in Rabdosia excisoides.Methods The isolation and purification were carried out on silica gel column chromatography,the chemical structures were determind by physico-chemical properties and spectral analysis.Results Two compounds were isolated from R.excisoides and their structures were identified,one was named as excisoidesin A(Ⅰ),a new diterpenoid and the other was a known compound,oleanolic acid(Ⅱ).Conclusion Excisoidesin A is a new diterpenoid.
5.Study on Association with Expression in Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease

Objective To investigate the expression of human epididymal protein 4 (HE4) in chronic kidney disease (CKD) and its clinical value.Methods From April 2014 to December 2015,Serum samples of 92 non-cancer patients diagnosed as CKD and 84 healthy controls were collected in Nantong University Hospital.HE4,BUN,Scr,Cys C and β2MG were detected.The difference of HE4 expression in different stages of CKD and the correlation of HE4 with Urea,Scr,Cys C and β2MG were analysized,respectively.ROC curve was used to evaluate the auxiliary diagnostic value of HE4,BUN,Scr,Cys C and β2MG.Results The serum HE4 expression in patients with impaired renal function was 388.2 (130.1~1 659.5)mIu/ L,(F=16.237,P=0.001).Which was significantly higher than that in the control group [38.1 (32.77 ~ 48.17)mIu/L].The serum HE4 expression was increased by the stage of renal damage and the difference was existed among different groups (P<0.05).HE4 expression was positive related with Cys C and β2MG.The AUC of HE4,BUN,Scr,Cys C and β2MG were 0.878,0.785,0.816,0.874 and 0.819,respectively.Conlusion It needs to consider the exsits of impaired renal function when the HE4 was detected.The HE4 might be a novel early diagnostic indication for CKD.
6.Study on clinical internship for clinical pharmacy bachelor bridged to clinical pharmacist training

Clinical internship is for bachelor students to learn how to integrate theories in textbooks with clinical practice.Clinical pharmacist training is for pharmacists to obtain and enforce the capability of rational use of drugs.These two are at the different stages of clinical pharmacist cultivation mode.They are different in teaching nature,goal and students' background.The necessity of clinical internship bridged to clinical pharmacist training is discussed in this paper and after the convergence,the teaching design of chnical internship program bridged to the training is characterized by basic education which focuses on basic theories,knowledge and skills of clinical medicine and clinical pharmacy relevant to a certain common disease.The optimized internship program will work as a good foundation for students to face the challenges of clinical pharmacist training after graduation from school.
7.Culture and characterization of human fetal hepatocytes

Objective Determining the characteristics of human fetal hepatocytes in vitro. Methods Isolating and culturing human fetal hepatocytes by stepwise trypsinization of liver fragment in vitro; collecting the culture medium to determine the secretion of AFP, ALB and the functional enzymes (including ALT, AST, GGT, ALP and LDH) of different generations in culture; determining the expression of cytochrome C by immunohistochemistry; testing the effects of sodium byturate on human fetal hepatocytes. Results Human fetal hepatocytes were polygonal epithelial cells in DMEM medium. They could be maintained for 5.5 months (about 30 passages) in vitro. They secreted ALB and functional enzymes all over their cultivation. Conclusion Human fetal hepatocytes can be maintained keeping function in vitro for several months.
8.Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells transplantation for the treatment of sclerodermatous chronic graft-versus-host disease: Immunologic mechanism changes in 4 cases

BACKGROUND:The immunomodulatory ability of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)gives it a promising future in treating graft-versus-host disease(GVHD),especially with previous success in treating patients with acute GVHD.However,there are fewer reports concerning BMSCs in treating chronic GVHD,particularly for sclerodermatous chronic graft-versus-host disease(ScGVHD).OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of treatment of BMSCs for ScGVHD,and to primarily explore the immunological mechanism of clinical efficacy.METHODS:Four ScGVHD patients at the Affiliated Hospital of Academy of Military Medicine Science,between September 2006 and August 2008,were enrolled for this trial.The median patient age was 41 years,1 female and 3 male.The patients received BMSCs infusion at a dose of(1.0~2.0)×10~7 cells every time by intrabone marrow injection from the anterosuperior iliac spine and BMSCs from the same donor for the same patient were infused more than once.Concomitant medications for ScGVHD were individualized for each patient,but all were current standard medicines and the doses were significantly tapered.RESULTS AND CONCLUTION:After BMSCs infusion,the ratio of Th1 to Th2 was dramatically overturned,with an increase of Th1 and a decrease of Th2 reaching at a new balance.Correspondingly,symptoms of all the four patients gradually improved.During the course of BMSCs treatment,the life signs and laboratory results from the recipients remained normal.By the time of this report,there has been no recurrence of leukemia in the four patients.Although this study alone cannot guarantee the application of BMSCs in ScGVHD,the results are strongly in favor of the idea that the BMSCs treatment for ScGVHD patients is therapeutically practical without any detectable side effects,which may provide a new insight into the matter of treating ScGVHD clinically,thus will greatly increase the survival rate of leukemia after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation.

In order to cultivate clinical pharmacy undergraduates to have better quality, Chongqing Medical University collaborated with The University of Chicago and University of Cincinnati in the reform of the course of pharmacotherapeutics. We build pharmacotherapeutics series curriculum with the center of disease, construct department of clinical pharmacy for transnational departments, build course leader and teaching team of pharmacotherapeutics series curriculum , compile teaching program and its material of pharmacotherapeutics series curriculum, build pharmacotherapeutics series curriculum and teaching model in line with the current direction of China's education system of clinical pharmacy training, reform teaching methods, and strengthen clinical pharmacy practice and community clinical pharmacy education.
10.Relationship between serum TC,TG,and ox-LDL levels and vulnerable carotid plaque in patients with acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),and oxidized low-density lipoprotein(ox-LDL) levels and vulnerable carotid plaques in patients with acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction. Methods According to the stability of carotid plaques,103 patients with acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction were divided into stable group(n=61) and vulnerable group(n=42). The basic data and laboratory indicators of the two groups were compared. A multivariable logistic regression analysis was used to determine risk factors for the formation of vulnerable carotid artery plaques. Results Compared with the stable group,the vulnerable group showed significantly higher proportions of diabetes mellitus,hypertension,and hyperlipidemia,significantly higher levels of serum TC,TG,ox-LDL,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),and a significantly lower level of serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)(all P<0.05). The receiver operating characteristic curve analysis revealed that serum TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,and ox-LDL could all be used to predict the formation of vulnerable carotid plaques in patients with acute non-cardiac cerebral infarction(all P<0.05). The multivariable logistic regression analysis demonstrated that diabetes mellitus,hypertension,hyperlipidemia,TC≥5.455 mmol/L,TG≥1.305 mmol/L,LDL-C≥2.655 mmol/L,HDL-C≤1.230 mmol/L,and ox-LDL≥457.765 μg/L were risk factors for vulnerable carotid plaques in patients with acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction(all P<0.05). Conclusion Various factors can drive the formation of vulnerable carotid plaques in patients with acute non-cardiogenic cerebral infarction. TC,TG,and ox-LDL are closely related to vulnerable plaque formation.
