Objective To investigate the effects of stellate ganglion block (SGB) on erythrocyte immunity in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods Twenty-four patients (13 male, 11 female) who developed acute cerebral infarction for less than 3 days were randomly divided into 2 groups (n=12each): Group A receiving traditional treatment and Group B receiving traditional treatment + SGB.The patients ranged in age from 51 to 64 yr and weighed 52-71 kg. All patients received intravenous 5% glucose 25 ml plus citicoline sodium 1.0 g and sodium ozagrel injectio 250 ml daily for 10 days in addition to dehydration and effective control of complications and intracranial pressure. Group B received SGB on one side alternatively with 1% licocaine 10 mi once a day for 10 days. Fasting venous blood samples were taken in the early mornings of the day before treatment (baseline, T1 ) and the 1st, 5th and 10th day of treatment (T2-4) for determination of the plasma MDA concentration and SOD activity, erythrocyte C3b receptor rosette rate (RBC-C3bRR) and RBC immune complex rosette rate (RBC-ICR) and Ne+-K+-ATPase activity in erythrocyte membrane.Results The plasma MDA concentration and RBC-ICR were significantly decreased during treatment es compared with the baselines at T1 in both groups (P＜0.05 or 0.01), but were significantly lower in Group B than in Group A (P＜0.05 or 0.01 ).The activities of plasma SOD and Na+ -K+ -ATPase in erythrocyte membrane and RBC-C3bRR were significantly increased during treatment as compared with the baselines at T1 and were significantly higher in Group B than in Group A.Conclusion SGB combined with traditional treatment can increase the activities of plasma SOD and Na+ -K+ -ATPase in erythrocyte membrane, inhibit production of oxygen free radicals and enhance RBC immune function in patients with acute cerebral infarction.

Objective:To investigate the effect of Laurencia terpenoid extract (LET) on tumor inhibition,immune modulation and apoptosis of Sarcoma 180 cell. Method:The LD50 of LET was estimated by Horn assay. The models of S180-bearing mice were established and divided into 4 groups which were given LET 0 (control group), 25 (low-dose group), 50 (mid-dose group), 100 (high-dose group) mg/kg bw respectively for 10 d. Tumor inhibition rates were detected in treatment groups and control group respectively. To weigh exactly the thymus and spleen to calculate their indices. The proliferation effect of LET on spleen lymphocyte was evaluated by MTT assay. The apoptosis of tumor cell was assayed by flow cytometry. Results:The LD50 was more than 3 160 mg/kg bw. LET had low toxicity. The average tumor weights of the supplemented groups were all less than the control group(P

Objective To investigate the antitumor and immunologic activities of Laurencia extract(LET) in Sarcoma 180(S 180).Methods The content of total terpenoids in LET was detected by RP-HPLC and its toxicity(LD 50) was estimated by Horn assay. Tumor inhibition rates, index of thymus and spleen, proliferation of spleen lymph cells, IgA,IgG,IgM were detected. The data were analyzed by SPSS software. Results The content of total terpenoids in LET was proved to be 63.29%. LET showed low toxicity with its LD 50 more than 3160mg?kg -1. Tumor inhibition rates of test groups were significantly higher than those of the control group. LET could obviously increase the levels of index of thymus and spleen. LET increase the multiplication of spleen lymph cell.Concentrations of IgA、IgG and IgM in plasma of the test groups were higher than those of the control group. Conclusion LET rich in terpenoids is safety to be taken orally. The alga extract showed obvious antitumor activities and immunologic functions.

Objective To explore teaching effectsof biochemistry by comparingthe traditional teaching with the network investigative teaching. Methods 425 five-year-program students of clinical medicine of grade 2012 were chosen as subjects, with 246 students from Classes 5-8 as experimental group in which network investigative teaching was implemented andwith 179 students of Classes 17-20 as the control group which wasgiven traditional teaching. After the teaching , the teaching effects were evaluated through a questionnaire and the test scores of the two groups were compared and statistically analyzed. The two groups were compared by using t test. Results More than 70% of students in the experimental groups were generally satisfied with several aspects of the network investigative teaching and gavea good evaluation. The experimental group students' total scores and every item scores were all higher than the control group students', in which the practise scores and the case analysis problem scores had significant differences by statistical analysis with P values being 0.000 and 0.002, respec-tively. Conclusion Network investigative teaching is better than traditional teaching in the teaching of biochemistry , which can enhance students' ability of problem analysis and their enthusiasm for learning.

Objective:To explore the relationship between psychological distress and intimacy in stroke patients and the mediating effect of different dyadic coping style, to provide theoretical guidance for improving the intimate relationship of stroke patients.Methods:A convenient sampling method was used to select 203 patients with stroke who visited the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University, the People's Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Department of Neurology of Yinchuan First People's Hospital from December 2020 to July 2021 as the survey objects. The general information questionnaire, Kessler Psychological Distress Scale, Quality of Relationship Index and Dyadic Coping Inventory were used to investigate patients.Results:The scores of psychological distress, intimate relationship, positive dyadic coping and negative dyadic coping were 19.33 ± 7.46, 32.75 ± 6.79, 86.25 ± 13.22, and 16.46 ± 4.08, respectively. Correlation analysis showed that psychological distress was negatively correlated with intimate relationship and positive dyadic coping ( r=-0.195, -0.204, both P<0.01), psychological distress was positively correlated with negative dyadic coping ( r=0.229, P<0.01). The mediating effect of positive dyadic coping and negative dyadic coping on psychological distress and intimate relationship was 35.87% and 53.26%, respectively. Conclusions:The psychological distress indirectly affects the intimate relationship of stroke patients through positive dyadic coping and negative dyadic coping. Health care workers can guide patients to actively cope with the disease and encourage couples to strengthen communication, so as to enhance the intimacy of couples and promote their physical and mental health development.

Objective:To explore the effect of perceived stress on fatigue and its mechanism, so as to provide theoretical support for relieving the fatigue of the main caregivers of stroke patients.Methods:From December 2020 to August 2021, 311 main caregivers of stroke patients hospitalized in the Department of Neurology of Class Ⅲ Grade A hospitals in Yinchuan were selected by convenient sampling. The caregivers were investigated with the General Information Questionnaire, Perceived Stress Scale, Resourcefulness Scale, Social Support Rating Scale and Fatigue Scale.Results:In this study, a total of 311 questionnaires were distributed, and 308 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 99.04%. The total scores of perceived stress, fatigue, resourcefulness and social support of the main caregivers of stroke patients were (24.98±6.36) , (5.31±2.86) , (83.98±12.85) and (39.76±6.21) respectively. Perceived stress were negatively correlated with resourcefulness and social support ( r=-0.313, -0.274, P<0.01) , and positively correlated with fatigue ( r=0.261, P<0.01) . Fatigue were negatively correlated with resourcefulness and social support ( r=-0.305, -0.268; P<0.01) . There was a positive correlation between resourcefulness and social support ( r=0.210, P<0.01) . The results of intermediary test showed that the direct effect of perceived stress on fatigue was valid, and the respective intermediary effect of resourcefulness and social support between perceived stress and fatigue, and the chain intermediary effect of resourcefulness and social support were also valid, with the amount of intermediary effect being 26.92%, 15.38% and 3.85% respectively. Conclusions:The chain mediation between perceived stress and fatigue is established between the resourcefulness and social support of the main caregivers of stroke patients. In the future, the mental and physical pressure of stroke patients can be alleviated by improving the resourcefulness of their main caregivers and providing social support.

Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of reactive oxygen species (ROS)-responsive nanomedicine in suppressing corneal neovascularization (CNV) in vivo. Methods: ROS-responsive nanomedicine (ROS-TK-5/siVEGF), which consists of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) small interfering RNA (siRNA) and thioketal linkage was synthesized by the Michael addition.The cumulative release of siVEGF from nanomedicine under oxidant conditions was assessed by agarose gel electrophoresis.Thirty-nine VEGFR2-luc-KI transgenic mice were used in this study, of which 30 mice were randomly divided into a normal control group, a PBS control group, an ROS-TK-5/NC group, an ROS-TK-5/siVEGF group, and a ranibizumab group, with 6 mice in each group.The ROS levels in the corneal tissue after alkali burning were tested by dihydroethidium (DHE) staining in the other 9 mice.In each group, alkali-burned mice were subconjunctivally injected with 10 μl of a different formula every two days.The effectiveness of nanomedicine in attenuating CNV was evaluated by slit-lamp microscopy and an in vivo imaging system (IVIS) at 7, 14, and 21 days after alkali burning. The use and care of the animals complied with the Statement of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) and the Guidelines of the Animal Experimental Committee of Liberation Army General Hospital.The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of Liberation Army General Hospital (No.2018-X14-82). Results: After treathrent with an aqueous solution without ROS, only 5%-10% of the siVEGF was released from the nanoparticles within 10 hours.In contrast, about 70% of the siVEGF was released from the nanoparticles after treatment with 10 mmol/L H₂O₂ within 10 hours.The relative fluorescent intensities in the corneal stromal layer at 7 days and 14 days after alkali burning were 5.403±0.306 and 2.930±0.255, respectively, which was significantly greater than those in the normal control group (1.003±0.015) (both at P<0.05). The CNV areas were statistically different among the four groups at various time points (F_group=49.855, P<0.01; F_time=65.556, P<0.01). The CNV area was significantly reduced in the ROS-TK-5/siVEGF and ranibizumab groups compared with the PBS control and ROS-TK-5/NC groups at 7 days and 14 days after modeling, and the CNV area was more effectively reduced in the ROS-TK-5/siVEGF group than the ranibizumab group at 7 days and 14 days after modeling (all at P<0.05). At day 21 after modeling, the CNV area was significantly reduced in the ROS-TK-5/siVEGF and ranibizumab groups compared to the PBS control and ROS-TK-5/NC groups (all at P<0.05). IVIS showed that the corneal fluorescent intensity was statistically different among the four groups at various times (F_group=27.193, P=0.003; F_time=51.062, P<0.01). The corneal fluorescent intensities were significantly reduced in the ROS-TK-5/siVEGF and ranibizumab groups compared to the PBS control and ROS-TK-5/NC groups at 7 days and 14 days after modeling; in addition, the corneal fluorescent intensity was more effectively reduced in the ROS-TK-5/siVEGF group in comparison with the ranibizumab group at 7 days and 14 days after modeling (all at P<0.05). At 21 days after modeling, the corneal fluorescent intensity was significantly reduced in the ROS-TK-5/siVEGF and ranibizumab groups compared to the PBS control and ROS-TK-5/NC groups (all at P<0.05). Conclusions ROS-TK-5/siVEGF nanomedicine effectively attenuates alkali burn-induced CNV formation and appears to have a better effect in comparison with ranibizumab at an early stage.

【Objective】 To investigate the clinical staffs′ knowledge about blood transfusion and their demands, so as to provide evidence for arranging the content for continuing education of blood transfusion medicine. 【Methods】 A self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the blood transfusion related knowledge of 652 clinical staffs from other cities or counties/districts in Shaanxi Province, who came to our hospital to attend meetings, further training and study from July to August 2019. 【Results】 Clinical stsffs investigated lacked a deep understanding of blood transfusion and blood donation related knowledge, and even were ignorant of certain knowledge. The awareness rate of relevant knowledge was the highest among doctors, followed by laboratory technicians and the lowest among nurses. 【Conclusion】 The awareness rate of blood transfusion related knowledge among medical staffs is relatively low, suggesting the training of blood transfusion related knowledge should be enhanced.

[摘 要] 目的：评估细胞分裂周期蛋白20（CDC20）在子宫内膜癌（EC）中的表达，探讨其对EC细胞RL95-2周期和凋亡的影响及可能的机制。方法：从癌症基因组图谱（TCGA）数据库获取EC的mRNA表达矩阵以及患者的临床信息，通过R语言分析CDC20 mRNA的差异表达情况及其与肿瘤分期的相关性，qPCR及WB法检测CDC20在RL95-2细胞中的表达；向RL95-2细胞转染sh-CDC20以敲减CDC20的表达，采用CCK-8法和流式细胞术检测敲减CDC20对RL95-2细胞增殖活力、细胞周期分布和凋亡的影响，WB法分析对Mcl-1/p-Chk1信号活性的影响；建立RL95-2细胞裸鼠移植瘤模型，评估敲减CDC20对肿瘤生长的抑制作用及对移植瘤组织中Mcl-1/p-Chk1信号轴和细胞凋亡的影响。结果：CDC20在EC组织及RL95-2细胞中呈高表达（均P<0.01），且CDC20的高表达与EC的分期有关联。敲减CDC20可显著降低RL95-2细胞增殖活力（P<0.01），阻滞细胞周期于G1期（P<0.01），促进细胞凋亡（P<0.01），抑制细胞中Mcl-1和p-Chk1的表达（P<0.05或P<0.01）。敲减CDC20可显著抑制RL95-2细胞裸鼠移植瘤的生长（P<0.01），降低移植瘤组织内Mcl-1和p-Chk1的表达（P<0.01），促进移植瘤细胞凋亡（P<0.01）。结论：CDC20在EC组织中呈高表达且与肿瘤分期有关联，敲减CDC20能够抑制RL95-2细胞及其裸鼠移植瘤的生长而促进凋亡，这可能与Mcl-1/p-Chk1信号轴有关。
