Objective:The result of influenza etiology surveillance in Chuxiong prefecture were analyzed to master the epidemic characteristics of influenza virus and provide scientific basis for influenza prevention and control.Methods:Real-time PCR assay and MDCK cell culture method were used to detect and separate influenza virus nucleic acids from influenza-like cases (ILI) and suspected influenza cases from 2017 to 2022 come from the sentinel hospitals. Results:From 2017 to 2022, a total of 7 302 cases of ILI and 1 079 cases were detected positive, with a positive rate of 14.78%. The positive rate in the six years was 14.71%、15.44%、20.11%、5.04%、10.90% and 21.08%, and the positive rate in 2020 was the lowest. Among them, the positive rate of influenza A was higher than that of influenza B, and higher in spring and winter than in summer and autumn., One H9N2 human infected with avian influenza virus was detected positive. The outbreak cases were mainly influenza B, followed by influenza A H3N2, and students were susceptible to it. The proportion of influenza-like cases in the 0~5 year old group was the highest (64.16%), and the protortion in 60~year old group was the lowest (0.05%).Conclusions:From 2017 to 2022, influenza A was predominant in Chuxiong prefecture, with high prevalence in winter and spring. The influenza strains presented diversity and each strain circulated alternately. The implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures can effectively reduce the infection rate of influenza virus .In addition, there are human cases of avian influenza infection in Chuxiong prefecture. So the surveillance of influenza-like cases should be strengthened an improved, and to expand the monitoring of human and avian influenza.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of dexamethasone combined with aminophylline on perioperative airway responses in COVID-19 convalescent patients undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery.Methods:Sixty-eight COVID-19 convalescent patients, aged 25-57 yr, of American Society of Anesthesiologists Physical Status classification Ⅰ or Ⅱ, undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery, were divided into experimental group ( n=34) and control group ( n=34). In experimental group, dexamethasone 10 mg was intravenously injected at the beginning of anesthesia induction, and aminophylline 0.25 g (in 100 ml of normal saline) was intravenously infused for 10 min starting from 15 min before the end of surgery. In control group, the equal volume of normal saline was administrated instead at the same time point. Airway secretions, laryngospasm and bronchospasm were recorded from the time point before operation to 24 h after operation, and coughing was also recorded from emergence to 3 min after extubation. The blood eosinophils (EOS) count, percentage of EOS (EOS%), and neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio were determined, and plasma C reactive protein level was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay before operation and at 24 h after operation. The serum levels of interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-α and interferon-γ were measured before operation, at 5 and 10 min after extubation and at 24 h after operation. Results:Compared with control group, the incidence of coughing, severity of coughing, incidence of increased airway secretion, and grade of airway secretion were significantly decreased, the levels of EOS, EOS%, neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and plasma C reactive protein in peripheral blood and serum levels of interferon-γ, interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α were significantly decreased after operation ( P<0.05), and no significant change was found in the incidence of bronchial spasm in experimental group ( P>0.05). No laryngeal spasm occurred in both groups. Conclusions:Dexamethasone combined with aminophylline can relieve the perioperative airway responses by inhibition of inflammatory responses in COVID-19 convalescent patients undergoing gynecological laparoscopic surgery.

Objective This study detects the expression of secreted frizzled-related protein 1 (SFRP1) in healthy patients and patients with chronic periodontitis (CP) and explores the relationship between SFRP1 and the occurrence and development of CP. Methods First, 28 patients forming the CP group were further divided into mild, moderate, and severe CP subgroups according to clinical attachment loss (CAL) data. Ten healthy volunteers were recruited in the control group. Gingival crevi-cular fluid (GCF) was collected from all of the patients, and the concentration of SFRP1 in the GCF samples was detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Next, gingival lesions were obtained from 22 patients in the CP group and healthy gingival tissues were obtained from the 10 healthy patients in the control group. Immunohistochemical analysis for SFRP1 was used to analyze the correlation between the expression of SFRP1 and the severity of CP based on staining intensities. Results The concentration of SFRP1 in GCF samples taken from of the CP group (281.07 ng·L-1±33.37 ng·L-1) was signifi-cantly higher than that in samples taken from the control group (245.30 ng·L-1±35.69 ng·L-1) (P<0.05). A significant positive correlation was observed between the concentration of SFRP1 in GCF and CAL (r=0.651, P<0.001). Furthermore, the SFRP1 scores in the CP groups (4.500±0.913) were significantly higher than those in the control group (2.800±1.135) (P<0.001). SFRP1 scores did not vary significantly among the CP subgroups (P>0.05). Conclusion SFRP1 expression in the CP groups was significantly higher than that in the control group. Thus, SFRP1 may play a significant role in the development of CP.
