1.Research in variation of C-reactive protein and glycoprotein KL-6 in children patients with handfoot and mouth disease complicated with neurogenic pulmonary edema and nursing
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2012;28(7):14-16
ObjectiveTo discuss the content of serum C-reactive protein and the glycoprotein KL- 6 in hand-foot and mouth disease complicated with neurogenic pulmonary edema children, and discuss related nursing measures,in order to provide the basis for diagnosis of hand-foot and mouth disease complicated with neurogenic pulmonary edema. Methods96 cases of children patients with hand- foot and mouth disease complicated with neurogenic pulmonary edema from January 2010 to June 2011 were selected at random in our hospital,56 cases were heavy patients,40 patients were common type.Another 48 cases were randomly selected healthy volunteers.Using the turbidity to determine the content of C-reactive protein in serum, the Elisa method to determine the content of glycoprotein KL-6.The results were compared and the related nursing measures were summarized. ResultsThe results of the turbidity for C-reactive protein showed that heavy patients were with the highest levels of CRP,common type followed subsequently, while the healthy group was normal. The results of Elisa for glycoprotein KL-6 showed that heavy patients were with the highest levels of glycoprotein KL-6,Common type followed subsequently, the healthy group was normal.By data analysis,we found that the two kinds of test results between three groups were obviously different. ConclusionsThrough comparative analysis,we found that the content of C- reactive protein and the glycoprotein KL-6 were positively correlated with the order of severity of hand-foot and mouth disease complicated with neurogenic pulmonary edema, which can be used as index of clinical judgment of the severity of the disease.Reasonable care measures are very impartant for recovery of the patients.

Objective To explore the effect of constitution nursing care by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theory on urinary salt scaling in patients with ureteral stents. Methods Thirty patients with ureteral stents after ureteroscopy were recruited in the study. The TCM constitution Scale was used to perform the TCM constitution categorization. Then constitution nursing by TCM theory was done based on the symptoms and diagnosis. The urinary salt scaling in the patients was explored. Result In the 30 patients, the incidence of urinary salt scaling were 26.7% (8/30)and no urinary tract infection occurred. Conclusion The nursing by TCM theory can relieve the clinical symptoms by indwelling ureteral stents and reduce the incidence of urinary salt scaling.

Objective:To explore the organizational identity, sense of coherence, perceived social support, and work engagement of surgical nurses in a traditional Chinese medicine hospital and the relationships between them. Methods:From March to May 2022, 450 surgical nurses were selected by convenience sampling from Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for a survey with a general information questionnaire, the Organizational Identification Scale, the Sense of Coherence Scale, the Perceived Social Support Scale, and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale-9. SPSS 24.0 was used to perform Pearson correlation analysis. AMOS 24.0 was used for structural equation modeling. Results:The nurses' scores of organizational identity, sense of coherence, perceived social support, and work engagement were (26.00±5.00), (53.58±7.50), (47.47±7.50), and (30.06±1.00), respectively. The correlation analysis revealed positive correlations between organizational identity, sense of coherence, perceived social support, and work engagement ( r=0.369-0.741, all P<0.001). Sense of coherence played a partial mediating role between perceived social support and work engagement, and the mediating effect was 0.07, accounting for 12.07% of the total effect. Organizational identity and sense of coherence produced a chain mediating effect between perceived social support and work engagement, in which the mediating effect was 0.11, accounting for 18.97% of the total effect. Conclusions:Organizational identity and sense of coherence produce a chain mediating effect between perceived social support and work engagement in the surgical nurses of the traditional Chinese medicine hospital.
