Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2016;32(10):1348-1352
Amyloid beta-peptides ( Aβ) is the key pathological feature of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Various factors contrib-ute to the accumulations of Aβ in the brains of patients. Among them, blood-brain barrier ( BBB) plays a crucial role in trans-porting Aβ between the brain and the bloodstream while this transfer function is mediated by the receptor of Aβon BBB. The abnormality of Aβ transport and related receptor expression can be detected in the brains of patients with AD, resulting in an un-usual increase in Aβlevels unusually increased . This review e-laborates the structure and function of BBB, the transport of Aβand the expression and transport mechanism of the related recep-tor, as well as summarizes the possible clearance strategy of Aβacross the BBB.

Space Medicine & Medical Engineering 2006;0(03):-
Objective To study the application of the linear sampling method(LSM) in 2D electromagnetic inverse scattering imaging and to mainly discuss the imaging quality of LSM with partial-view data. Methods Get the norm of solution vector to the equivalent integral equation using numerical calculation in every sampling point at imaging region, and represent the norm with gray to reconstruct the scattering shape. Results Under all incident angles [0,360?] and all observation angles [0,360?],the imaging quality of the far-field pattern of scattering wave was obtained very well. But when reducing the range of the incident angles and observation angles, the imaging quality declined.Particularly, the imaging quality in the case of both incident angles and observation angles being at the same side of the observed object, were much better than both in opposite sides.Furthermore, the profile of the object was imaged more clearly as its position corresponding to the orientation of the incident/observation angle. Conclusion Although the imaging quality will decline with partial-view data in electromagnetic inverse scattering, the effectiveness of imaging with LSM still deserves attention.

Chinese Journal of Infectious Diseases 2001;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the clinical typing and staging in diagnosis of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Methods Retrospective study was designed to analysis the principal clinical characteristic of SARS and the standard of clinical typing and staging was raised. Comparisons with X-ray in lung, change of lymphocyte subset, PaO_2, SaO_2,and prognosis of disease were performed. Results The standard of SARS clinical typing and staging is four types (light type, ordinary type, heavy type, serious type)and four phases (prodromal period, progres phase, fastigium, recovery phase). The light type is 8/162(4.9%), ordinary type is 69/162 (42.6%), heavy type is 41/162 (25.3%), serious type is (27.2%). Comparisons SARS clinical typing and staging with X-ray in lung, change of lymphocyte subset were found that the more lesion in lung, the lower lymphocyte and its subset, and more serious in clinical typing. Conclusions The standard of clinical typing and staging summarized basic clinical characteristic in SARS, and coincided with progress of SARS. The standard will be help of clinical diagnosis, treatment and judging the prognosis of SARS.

Objective:To explore the relationship of lymphocyte function-associated antigen 3 (LFA-3, CD58) expression in glioma with clinical features and its role in clinical prognosis. Methods:Clinical data and mRNA microarray data of 514 patients with glioma were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas and were used to study the expression of LFA-3 (CD58). Cox regression was used to analyze the relationship between CD58 expression and survival of patients with glioma. Multivariate analysis of variance was used to further analyze the relationship of CD58 with age, sex, and pathological grade of glioma. Results:The results of the stratified χ2 test of CD58 expression and tumor grading were shown, considering tumor type, gender and age of diagnosis (all P<0.05). CD58 expression was sig-nificantly correlated with overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) of patients with glioma. Patients with high CD58 expres-sion presented short OS and DFS (P<0.0001). Conclusion:CD58 possibly promotes tumorigenesis in gliomas and thus can serve as a potential tumor diagnostic marker and individual therapeutic target.
