1.Experimental efficacy of cord blood cytokine-induced kill cells on the anti-tumor effects against bladder transitional cell

Objective To investigate the effect of cytokine-induced kill cells( CIK)of the cord blood on bladder transitional cell carcinoma T24 in vitro. Methods The cord blood mononuclear cells( CBMC)were induced with different cytokines such as Interleukin 2( IL-2 ),interferon γ( IFN-γ),CD3Mc-Ab into CIK cells. The proliferation ability of CIK cells was measured by calculation in different culturing time,and the phenotype of CIK cells was analyzed by the flow cytometry. Bladder transitional cell carcinoma T24 cells were mixed with CIK cells to detect the mortality of the cancer cells with CCK-8 method in vitro. Results With the cultured time of CIK cells prolong,both the number and killing activity increased. the ratio of CIK cells and T24 cells were 1:2. 5,1:5,1:10 and 1:20 when the kill rate of T24 cells by CIK cells were(18. 98 ± 2. 61)%, (35. 59 ± 4. 74)%,(45. 34 ± 5. 03)% and(69. 24 ± 5. 19)%. Conclusion The CIK cells of the cord blood is proved to be with strong anti-cancer activity against T24 cells in vitro.
2.The effect of nutritional intervention in children with recurrent abdominal Henoch Schonlein purpura

Objective:To investigate the nutritional risk and the incidence of malnutrition in children with recurrent abdominal Henoch Schonlein purpura(HSP), and observe the changes in the incidence of malnutrition after nutritional intervention.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 90 children diagnosed with recurrent HSP in our hospital from 2017 to 2019.The cases were divided into two groups according to whether nutritional intervention was performed.The cases from January 2017 to May 2018 were chosen as the control group( n=42), and the cases from June 2018 to December 2019 were chosen as the experimental group( n=48). Based on the treatment of the primary disease, the high nutritional risk cases in experimental group were treated with extensively hydrolysed infant formula for nutritional intervention.The children were evaluated for nutritional risk with the STRONGkids nutrition tool.According to the score results, they were divided into high nutritional risk group and medium nutritional risk group.The Z score was used to evaluate malnutrition, and the degree of malnutrition was compared at admission and discharge. Results:Eighty-one children (90.0%) with recurrent abdominal allergic purpura had a high nutritional risk, 9 cases (10.0%)had a medium nutritional risk.There was no significant difference in the incidence of moderate and severe malnutrition between experimental group and control group at admission[39.6% (19/48) vs.40.5% (17/42), P>0.05]. The incidence of moderate and severe malnutrition in control group was higher than that in experimental group at discharge[66.7% (28/42) vs.22.9% (11/48), P<0.05]. Conclusion:In children with recurrent abdominal HSP, due to severe gastrointestinal symptoms and a high incidence of high nutritional risk, nutritional intervention with extensively hydrolysed infant formula can avoid the occurrence or aggravation of iatrogenic malnutrition during hospitalization.
3.Determination of eugenol in Bawei Tanxiang Pills by Capillary Gas Chromatography

AIM: To establish a capillary GC-FID programmed temperature method for determining eugenol in Bawei Tanxiang Pills(Lignum Santali Albi, Flos Caryophylii, etc.). METHODS: Chromatography was performed on a 25m?0.25mm(0.25?m film thickness), SE-54 fused-silica capillary column coupled with a FID-detector. The internal standard was cyclohexanone. RESULTS: A good linearity was obtained in the range of 0.25?g~8?g of Eugenol with a correlation coefficient of 0.9993. The average recovery was 96.5%, the RSD was 2.4%. CONCLUSION: The established method was provided to be a reliable quantitative method for quality control of Bawei Tanxiang Pills.
4.Relationship beween copeptin,ischemia modified albumin and the degree of myocardial injury in patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning

Objective To study the relationship between copeptin,ischemia modified albumin (IMA) and the degree of myocardial injury in patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning (ACOP).Methods A total of 110 ACOP patients with different degree of poisoning were selected as poisoning group and included mild poisoning 22 cases (mild group),moderate poisoning 50 cases (moderate group),severe poisoning 38 cases (severe group),and 30 healthy subjects were selected as control group.The cardiac troponin Ⅰ (cTnⅠ),IMA,copeptin level was detected at 2 h,7 d after admission in poisoning group and at admission in control group.According to with or without complications,poisoning group was divided into complications group (26 cases) and non-complications group (84 cases).cTnⅠ,IMA,copeptin level was compared among groups.Results At 2 h after admission,IMA was decreased and copeptin was increased in mild,moderate,severe group[(62.50 ± 2.17),(59.04 ± 3.10),(56.01 ± 8.85) kU/L and (2.82 ± 0.73),(7.31 ±0.95),(13.08 ± 1.96) μg/L],there was statistical difference compared with control group [(67.23 ± 1.40) kU/L and (0.87 ±0.19) μg/L](P<0.05),and there was significant difference between moderate group and mild group,severe group and mild group,moderate group (P < 0.05);there was no statistical difference in cTnⅠ among groups.At 7 d after admission,there was no significant difference in IMA,copeptin among groups (P > 0.05) ; cTnⅠ was increased in mild,moderate,severe group [(1.80 ± 0.17),(2.34 ±0.46),(2.60 ±0.54) μg/L],and there was statistical difference compared with control group [(1.27 ±0.28) μg/L] (P <0.05),and there was significant difference between moderate group and mild group,severe group and mild group,moderate group (P< 0.05).IMA,copeptin at 2 h,7 d after admission in complications group was higher than that in non-complications group [(54.62 ± 1.53) kU/L vs.(57.89 ± 4.02) kU/L,(60.65 ± 3.61) kU/L vs.(66.84 ± 1.78) kU/L and (13.88 ± 1.45) μ g/L vs.(6.99 ± 3.39) μ g/L,(6.65 ± 1.82) μ g/L vs.(2.47 ± 0.61) μ g/L](P< 0.05).cTnⅠ at 7 d after admission in complications group was higher than that in non-complications group [(3.10 ± 0.22) μ g/L vs.(1.87 ± 0.27) μ g/L] (P < 0.05).Correlation analysis showed that copeptin was negatively correlated with IMA in patients with different degree of poisoning (r =-0.560,P < 0.01).Conclusions The combined detection of IMA and copeptin has important clinical value to the early diagnosis and prognosis in evaluating the prognosis of ACOP myocardial injury.There is important guidance for early clinical drug application.
5.Transabdominal-transanal total mesorectal excision combined with liver metastasis resection for synchronous low rectal liver metastasis

Objective To investigate the application value of transabdominal-tansanal total mesorectal excision combined with liver metastasis resection for synchronous low rectal liver metastasis.Methods The retrospective descriptive study was adopted.The clinical data of a male patient with synchronous low rectal liver metastasis who was admitted to the Peking University Third Hospital in November 2015 was collected.Transabdominal-transanal total mesorectal excision combined with liver metastasis resection was performed after multidisciplinary team conference.The liver metastasis resection,vascular disconnection,lymph node dissection and upper and middle mesorectal disconnection were done by transabdominal approach.Then complete mesorectal excision and specimen removal of rectum and liver were done by transanal approach.The intraoperative status (operation method,operation time,volume of intraoperative blood loss,blood transfusion),occurrence of postoperative complications,results of pathological examination and follow-up were observed.The patient was followed up by outpatient examination till January 2016.Results The operation was performed successfully without severe perioperative complications.The operation time and volume of intraoperative blood loss were 360 minutes and 170 mL,respectively.The patient did not receive intraoperative blood transfusion,without urinary retention and presacral abscesses.The patient was discharged at postoperative day 9.The postoperative pathological results showed high-differentiated rectal protruded adenoma and high-middle differentiated adenocarcinoma metastasis in the liver tissue with the negative resection margins.The tumor sizes of rectum and liver metastasis were 5.0 cm × 5.0 cm× 1.5 cm and 1.5 cm × 1.0 cm × 1.5 cm,respectively.The tumor node metastasis (TNM) stage was stage Ⅳ (pT3N0M1).The patient had a good life quality during the follow-up of 1 month.Conclusion Transabdominal-transanal approach might provide an alternative operative approach and resection method for synchronous low rectal liver metastasis,with a good short-term outcome.
6.Copeptin and ischemia modified albumin level changes and clinical significance of myocardial injury in patients with acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning

Objective To investigate the clinical value of copeptin and ischemia modified albumin combined determination in the early diagnosis and clinical significance in myocardial damage of acute organic phosphorus pesticide poisoning .Methods Eighty‐six cases of AOPP patients were divided into two groups :the myocardial injury group (50 cases) and non myocardial injury group (36 cases) ;30 healthy people were selected as the control group .3 mL of venous blood were collected for all subjects involved within one hour in admission ,and their cTnI ,IMA and copeptin levels were detected .Results Compared with the control group ,the copep‐tin levels of non myocardial injury group and myocardial injury group were elevated and there was significant difference (P< 0 .05) ;the difference between myocardial injury group and non myocardial injury groups was also significantly different (P< 0 .05) .Among them ,the comparison between severe and mild to moderate group revealed that the IMA and copeptin levels reduced obviously ,there was significant difference (P< 0 .05) ;in myocardial injury group ,the IMA and copeptin levels of patients in different poisoning de‐gree were negatively correlated .Conclusion Early determination of IMA and copeptin level has important significance in the early diagnosis of myocardial injury in patients with poisoning in AOPP ,and could provide guidance for clinical medication .
7.Research on Dynamic Electrocardiograph Simulation by Using Piecewise Functions

Objective To research and construct dynamic electrocardiograph (ECG) simulation model/algorithm to simulate different kinds of clinical ECG,where the heart rate can be infinitely variable,and to develop one platform for fast-demo and analysis of theoretical wave based on this algorithm which can be implemented in ECG training and teaching. Methods According to different characteristics decoupled one complete ECG wave to 4 parts,including P-wave,PR-section,QT -wave and TP -section. P -wave and QT -wave database were set up accordingly to find the relationship algorithm between PR-section and heart rate,TP-section and heart rate. With the synthesis work of the algorithm and clinical diagnosis theory,ECG simulation mathematical model /algorithm,dynamic link library.(dll) and software interface were developed by C++. Results Through comparing the ECG simulation results with clinical samples,the veracity and validity of the mathematical model/algorithm was verified. Conclusion The software module based on this model/algorithm is very valuable for ECG training and teaching in clinic,and can be implemented in the development of more advanced ECG relative software and devices.
8.MRI analysis of spinal cord outlet of skull base on formation of syringomyelia in Chiari Ⅰ malformation

Objective To investigate the mechanism and effect of the spinal cord outlet of the skull base on Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia.Methods The cervical spinal cord stem angle (Anbc),slope angle of cervical vertebra (Ansc) of Chiari Ⅰ malformation were measured.In foramen magnum (Llf) and anterior vertebral canal level (Laf),spinal canal(Ac),spinal cord (As) and inferior hernia area (Ah) were measured.Angle,area and ratio were compared in Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia,Chiari Ⅰ malformation without syringomyelia and normal control group.Results Ansc,Anbc-Ansc had significant differences among control group and Chiari Ⅰ malformation patients (all P<0.001).In Llf,Laf,As had significant differences among three groups (all P<0.05),further comparison of the two showed there were significant differences between Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia patients and control group,Chiari Ⅰ malformation without syringomyelia patients and control group in Llf(all P<0.05).In Llf,Laf,Ac in Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia was smaller than control group (P<0.05).Ah in Llf,Lafand Lh in Llf had no statistical significant difference between Chiari Ⅰ malformation with and without syringomyelia patients (all P>0.05).In Llf,Laf,As/Ac had statistical significant difference among Chiari Ⅰ malformation with and without syringomyelia patients,control group (all P<0.001),further comparison of the two showed As/Ac in Llf had statistical significance difference between Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia patients and control group (P<0.05),As/Ac in La had statistical significance difference between Chiari Ⅰ malformation with syringomyelia patients and control group,between Chiari Ⅰ malformation without syringomyelia patients and control group (all P<0.05),Conclusion The cervical spinal cord,Ansc reducing,narrow vertebral proportion increase are important factors to promote Chiari Ⅰ malformation syringomyelia.

Acute leukemia is the most common malignant tumor in children in our country.Its pathogenesis includes transformation of proto oncogene,tumor suppressor gene distortion,inhibition of apoptosis etc..Under the action of carcinogenic factors,chromosome mutation,deletion,rearrangement or gene amplification can lead to the structural variation of proto oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes,resulting in a new fusion gene.Some of these genes are tran-scription factors regulating cell proliferation,differentiation,aging and death,when the gene is mutated,directly affect the downstream signaling pathways,leading to cell proliferation,apoptosis and enhanced (or)differentiation disorders, leading to leukemia.In recent years,with the development of gene sequencing technology,more and more leukemia prognostic genes have been displayed in public view and applied in clinical treatment and prognosis,relapse,etc..
10.Superior mesenteric artery boundary characteristics predicts postoperative survival status in pancreatic head ductal adenocarcinoma

Objective To examine whether the boundary patterns of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) in the preoperative contrasted enhanced computer tomography (CE-CT) could predict poor postoperative prognosis.Methods From January 2010 to December 2015,104 patients of pancreatic head ductal adenocarcinoma received radical pancreaticoduodenectomy by a single group of surgeons.All patients underwent CE-CT before operation.The clinicopathological characteristics and the prognosis were comparatively analyzed among the patients with different SMA boundary patterns.Results The patients with obscure SMA boundary in CE-CT had a lower overall survival rate (P =0.012) and a higher liver metastasis rate (P < 0.01) compared to the patients with clear SMA boundary.38.2% of patients with obscure SMA boundary died within 6 months,69.1% of them died within 12 months while the mortality rate was 6% within 6 months and 29.2% within 12 months in patients with clear SMA boundary.Only 2.2% of patients with clear SMA boundary presented liver metastasis within 6 months,but that was 53% in patients with obscure SMA boundary.18.4% of patients developed liver metastasis within 12 months in patients with clear SMA boundary,whereas the rate was 82% in patients with obscure SMA boundary.Furthermore,the tissues around the SMA presented a higher CT value in any phase in patients with obscure SMA boundary than in patients with clear SMA boundary (P < 0.01).Conclusions The patterns of the SMA boundary in CE-CT is a potential prognostic factor in pancreatic head ductal adenocarcinoma after radical operation,and the obscure SMA boundary may be associated with early liver metastasis and high mortality.
