1.Study on Quality Standard for Xinkang Capsules
China Pharmacist 2014;(12):2140-2142
Objective:To study the quality standard for Xinkang capsules. Methods:Panacis quinquefolii Radix, Chuanxiong Rhizoma and Ophiopogonis Radix were identified by TLC. The content of puerarin in Xinkang capsules was determined by HPLC. Results:The spots in TLC were clear. The linear range of puerarin was 108-648 μ g(r = 0. 999 9). The average recovery of puerarin was 97. 33%(RSD = 0. 4%). Conclusion: The method is simple, repeatable and accurate, which can be used in the quality control of Xinkang capsules.
2.Kidney transplantation using Orem self-nursing theory in 68 cases
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(25):-
AIM: To instruct the self-care ability of patients underwent the kidney transplant with Orem self-nursing theory. METHODS: A total of 118 patients received kidney transplant were recruited from the Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Yiyang Municipal People's Hospital from January 2003 to June 2006, with all the patients' informed consents. The subjects were divided into two groups:①Orem self-nursing theory group (n =68): Taking the Orem self-nursing theory as the instruction, the self-care ability and self-care defect of patients were appraised. They were treated with different nursing systems and healthy educations, participated in designing the nursing plan and activity.②Control group (n =50): The patient of this group received usual care. The self-care ability of patients in the two groups were evaluated 1, 3, 6 months after the kidney transplant, grading Ⅰ as completely recovery to routine work; Ⅱ as semi-recovery to routine work and daily life was revived. Both Ⅰ and Ⅱ grades indicated the good quality of life (QOL). RESULTS: All the 118 postoperative patients were involved in the result analysis.①None of Orem self-nursing theory group appeared the complication.②The good and excellent rate of QOL in patients of Orem self-nursing theory group was significantly higher 3 months postoperation than 1 month postoperation (59%, 13%, P
3.Effect of tanshinone Ⅱ A on proliferation of diabetic vascular smooth muscle cells is mediated by inhibition of MAPK
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(12):-
Objective To study the effect of TanshinoneⅡA(TSN) on vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs) induced by high glucose and its relationship with MAPK signal pathway. Methods After the establishment of the model of diabetic rats, the aortic of rats was isolated and cultured.DNA synthesis was analyzed by ELISA of BrdU.The activity of MAPK was measured by liquid scintillation counting. Results TSN inhibited the proliferation and DNA synthesis of vascular smooth muscle cells from diabetic rats in dose-dependent manner.TSN at the dosage of 0.5 mg/L significantly decreased the activity of MAPK as well as of U0126.Conclusion The effect of TSN on the proliferation and DNA synthesis of vascular smooth muscle cells from diabetic rats is potentially mediated by inhibition of MAPK.
4.Progress on aberrant methylation of INK4a/ARF and ASPP genes in tumor
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(01):-
Many tumorigenesis in human are closely linked to the functional loss of P53. The tumor-suppressive functions of P53 are abrogated by mutations, but in 50% of all tumors it remains wild type. In these cases, loss of P53 tumor-suppressive function mainly results from the abnormal methylation of 5' CpG islands of tumor suppressor genes such as INK4a,ARF and ASPP. Restoring to normal methylation state of these genes might provide a new strategy for tumor therapy.
5.Research progress on anti-tumor effects and potential mechanisms of ethyl pyruvate
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2014;(10):1111-1113
Ethyl pyruvate ( EP) is a stable lipophilic ester derivative of pyruvate with many pharmacological actions confirmed by researches , the anti-tumor effects of EP has attracted the attention of many domestic and foreign scholars .EP exerts antitumor activi-ty through several ways , such as inhibiting proliferation , inducing apoptosis , inhibiting angiogenesis , blocking cell cycle .This paper briefly reviews the rencent findings of antitumor function of EP .
6.Hearing Loss in Deaf Children Caused by Using Hearing Aids
Journal of Audiology and Speech Pathology 1998;0(01):-
A retest of 30 deaf children(58 ears) being trained in our centre who used hearing aids for at least half a year showed that two children(2 ears) suffered from hearing loss. To inquire into the cause of hearing loss, we analysed the frequency, range, gain,SSPL 90. volume control of the hearing aids worn by the children as well as the auditory training habits if the deaf children's parents and teachers, compared the children's hearing before and after using the hearing aids and pointed out the possible reasons that caused the children's hearing loss. Here.We sum up the aspects that should be paid attention to when testing and selecting hearing aids for deaf children.
7.Advances of radiation-inducible gene therapy for tumor
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(10):-
Recently,radiation-inducible gene therapy is one of new researchs in tumor therapy. In one side, the method associate radiation therapy with gene therapy, acting as synergistic effect;another side, radiation is targeting and inducible, implementing spatial and temporal control of gene expression.Related researchs have gained advances. This paper concisely reviews the status quo and the prospective applications.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2014;47(12):852-856
Objective To explore the prominent clinical features and the prognosis of corpus callosum solitary lesions cases in children. Methods There were 16 cases with corpus callosum solitary lesions receiving treatment at our hospital from January to December 2013.All of the clinical features were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Results The 16 cases aged 1 year to 13 years with an average age of (3.44 ± 3.65) years. The causes of the disease included the viral encephalitis, convulsions, and rotavirus infection. The most prevalent disorders were convulsions (10 cases),gastrointestinal symptoms (8 cases),fever (8 cases),positive cervical resistance (6 cases),fatigue (5 cases),altered states of consciousness (2 cases),headache (1 case),and dizziness (1 case).Corpus callosum lesions lasted for 13-50 days, with an average of (28.8 ± 10.2) days.Cranial magnetic resonance showed the splenium of the corpus callosum with isolated oval lesions, low signal on T1 weighted images and apparent diffusion coefficient images, high signal on T2 weighted images and diffusion weighted images. Conclusions The splenium of the corpus callosum lesions of children occur in a lower rate than adults with the etiology including intracranial infection, convulsions and rotavirus infection.Main clinical manifestations include fever, convulsions and gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, diarrhea, etc). The cases followed-up showed the lesions and symptoms are reversible, and the prognosis is good.
