OBJECTIVE:To seek an effective starting point for the improvement of pharmacy administration efficiency(PAE)in China.METHODS:Level of PAE in China, the existing problems and their root causes were analyzed using a systematic methodology.RESULTS&CONCLUSIONS:Level of PAE in China is far from perfect, which may be attributed to the narrowly defined boundary of pharmacy administrating system, the lack of systematic understanding and command of relevant factors and the unscientific,non-integrated objective of pharmacy administration. It is advisable to enlarge system boundary, adjust the objective of pharmacy administration, and adopt a systematic point of view and methodology in the practice of pharmacy administration.

Objective To explore the invasion effect of CXCR3 overexpression on T lymphoblastic leukemia (Jurkat cells) with chemokine receptors. Methods Mouse CXCR3 was amplified by RT-PCR and overexpressing CXCR3 lentivirus carrying GFP&Puromycin (puro) was constructed. CXCR3 expression on infected Jurkat cells surface was detected by FCM. Constructed cells were seeded in Transwell invasion model to study whether CXCR3 overexpression would increase the invasion or not. Results GFP expression on Jurkat cells was less than 10% after 96 h lentivirus infection. CXCR3 expression was 90% higher than vector group , and GFP expression reached 90% after screening. Therefore, Jurkat cells with stable overexpression of CXCR3 were successfully constructed. Invasion rate of Jurkat CXCR3 cells was [(12.71 ± 1.03)%], which was significant higher than that of vector control group [(6.82 ± 0.49)%], (P < 0.0001). Conclusions CXCR3 expression on leukemia cells is closely associated with leukemia invasion. The increase of CXCR3 expression can enhance the invasion of leukemia cells, and may be one of the mechanisms of T lymphoblastic leukemia invasion.

Objective To evaluate the imaging diagnosis value of glomus tympanicum tumors. Methods Images of 10 patients with surgically and pathologically confirmed glomus tympanicum tumors were reviewed. The image characteristics and diagnostic value were summarized. Results In 8 patients with high resolution CT scan and 2 patients with routine CT scan, soft tissue nodules within the tympanic cavity were identified on axial or coronal images in 7 of them. And in 3 patients with chronic tympanitis, glomus tympanicum tumors were not differentiated on CT images.Eight patients had undergone MR examination,on T2WI the tumors were moderate hyperintense(n=6)and hyperintense(n=2),and the tumors were enhanced obviously after contrast. In 3 patients with chronic tympanitis, moderate high signal of the tumor can be differentiated with the high signal of tympanitis on T2WI.On contrast MRI,the signal of enhanced tumor or unenhanced tympanitis was identified clearly. Conclusion On diagnosis of glomus tympanicum tumors,MRI is prior to CT,especially in patient with glomus tympanicum and tympanitis.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of repairing soft tissue defects of foot and ankle by sural neurovascular adipofascial flap. Methods Application of sural neurovascular adipofascial flap to repaire soft tissue defects of foot and ankle in 19 patients, inclouding 3 csaes with the soft tissue defects of medial malleolus and 16 cases of dorsum pedis from May,2006 to May,2013.The size of soft tissue defects was 3 cm ×3 cm-7 cm ×9 cm.The skin of the donor site was sutured directly. The recipient area was reshaped granulation and underwent free skin graft after the adipofascial flap survived. Results After followed up of 3-18 months, the adipofascial flaps were all survived, the recipient area was almost flat with the surrounding tissue, the donor area only leaving linear scar, the appearance and function of donor area and adopt area were satisfactory. The sensation of lateral dorsal region of foot decreased to S3,and the sensation of recipient site recovered to S2.There were some changes in pigmentation with the skin graft region. Conclusion Sural neurovascular adipofascial flap can be effectively repaired soft tissue defects of foot and ankle, and it can avoid irregularity of donor area and enlargement of adopt area, the appearance and function were satisfactory.

Objective:To study the tonifying Qi and producing blood mechanism of Jianpi Shengxue tablets. Methods: SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group,FeSO4group, and low, medium and high dosage groups(0.65,1.3,2.6 g·kg-1). All the groups except the normal group received low iron diet,to induce anemia. After the two-week intragastric administration, real-time PCR was carried out to identify the changes of Hepcidin mRNA expression, while western blot was applied to test the changes of DMT-1 protein expression. Results:The medium and high dosage groups could significantly increase the DMT-1 expression compared with the normal group, while FeSO4 could reduced the DMT-1 expression. The Hepcidin expression in liver was increased along with the in-crease of the dosage. Conclusion:The Chinese medicine ingredients in Jianpi Shengxue tablets is beneficial to the expression of DMT-1 protein and the expression of Hepcidin mRNA in liver, which can finally improve the iron supply in the body.

BACKGROUND:Resection of femoral neck in the conventional total hip replacement greatly influences the equilibrium of forces jn the proximal fetour and causes disequilibrium of bone reconstruction, easily resulting in bone absorption, prosthesis loosening and dislocation.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the biocompatibility between materials and host in the total hip replacement with femoral neck preserved.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A retrospective case analysis was performed in the Department of Orthopedics, the 180 Hospital of Chinese PLA between September 2000 and December 2006.PARTICIPANTS:Twenty-five patients.10 males,15 females, aged 47 years old(range 31-56 years old)were recruited for this study.Twelve patients suffered from femoral head necrosis-caused hip joint disease and osteoarthrosis(bilaterally affected in 5 patients),eight femoral head necrosis(femoral head necrosis subsequent to femoral neck fracture healing in 2 patients),three acetabular dysplasia necrosis of femoral head, and two infra-head femoral neck fracture nonunion. The course of disease averaged 6 years old ranging from 2-10 years.METHODS:Modified hip ioint posterior approach was used to expose the hip joint.Femoral head was resected from the femoral head-neck iuncture.Cartilago acetabularis was stripped and then artificial acetabulum was installed.Femoral proximal medullary cavity was expanded.Artificial femoral head was installed. Finally, all artificial joints were reduced.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:(1)Biocompatibility between prosthesis and host.(2)Function recovery of hip joint.RESULTS:All wounds were primarily healed.Patients were followed up for 0.5-6 years on average.Follow-up results demonstrated good hip joint motion and normal walking gait.X-ray showed well-positioned artificial hip joint, absence of prosthesis loosening and dislocation,as well as good femoral neck sclerotin.CONCLUSl0N:The preservation of femoral neck in total hip replacement is fit to the physiological compliance of proximal femar and prevents osteoporosis-induced prosthesis loosening and dislocation in the proximal femur.
