Formation of coronary atherosclerotic plaques brings severe damage to human health.Macrophages play an important role during formation and development of plaques,which becomes an important marker for judging whether atherosclerotic plaques are stable or not.Therefore,recognition and quantification of macrophages become hotspot in current study.The present article made an overview on cunent frequently-used imaging techniques for de-tecting coronary plaques and macrophages inside them for now.

Objective:To study influence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) on coronary artery lesion and plaque sta‐bility using optical coherence tomography (OCT) in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) manifesting unsta‐ble angina pectoris (UAP) . Methods :A total of 200 patients diagnosed as CAD manifesting UAP were selected.According to complicated with diabetes mellitus or not ,they were divided into normal blood glucose group (n=98) and complicated T2DM group (T2DM group ,n=102). Coronary angiography (CAG) and OCT were used to eval‐uate coronary artery lesion ,assess plaque nature and measure the thickness of plaque fibrous cap in order to confirm plaque stability . Results:Compared with normal blood glucose group ,there were significant rise in percentages of multi-vessel coronary disease (48.98% vs. 78.43% ) ,severe artery stenosis (20.57% vs. 40.21% ) ,lipid plaques (25.00% vs. 39.84% ) and plaques with fibrous cap thickness <65μm (25.93% vs. 45.24% ) in T2DM group , P<0.05 or < 0.01 .Conclusion :Patients with coronary artery disease have more severe coronary artery lesion and high ‐ er incidence rate of multi‐vessel coronary disease and unstable plaque when complicated with type 2 diabetes mellitus .

Perinatal cardiomyopathy is a kind of idiopathic cardiomyopathy ,its morbidity rate is low but it may re‐sult in death . The present article made a review on etiological researches of perinatal cardiomyopathy of recent years ,aiming at providing assistance for clinical diagnosis and therapy .

The target of the health management science training system is to raise the students’ basic skills of management science,to strengthen the students’ elementary knowledge of management science and to improve their management quality. The science appraisal to the management science training system movement effect is carried out by three evaluation principal parts such as the schools, teachers and students to utilize many kinds of evaluation methods to examine three dimentions of improving object knowledge, the skill and the behavior, the manner and so on.It measures the promotion intensity of training targets to have manage quality so as to control the management science training systematic operation effectively.

Objective To evaluate the feasibility of community treatment and management mode in elderly patients with hypertension.Methods A total of 286 elderly patients with hypertension were treated with community therapy and management for 6 months.The improvements in life style and hypertension control were observed before and after the community treatment and management.Results There were significant differences in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in the elderly patients before and after the treatment and management [(158.4± 11.3) mm Hg vs.(131.3±5.9) mm Hg,(99.6±8.9) mm Hg vs.(81.5±5.6) mm Hg,respectively,both P＜0.05].Compared with pretreatment,the blood pressure control rate,the awareness rate of diagnostic criteria and the drug compliance were significantly increased after the treatment and management [38.5％ (110/286) vs.96.9％ (277/286),66.4％ (190/286) vs.100％ (286/286),49％ (140/286)vs.91.3％ (261/286),x2 =98.87,115.36,122.13,respectively,all P＜0.01].Conclusions The community treatment and management can increase the blood pressure control rate and improve the quality of life in elderly patients with hypertension.It is a feasible method to comprehensively prevent and control hypertension.

Objective To determine the characteristics of early cognitive dysfunction and N300 event-related potentials(ERPs)in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI).Methods Thirty patients with ACI and thirty normal healthy elderly people were studied.The two groups were examined with a picture recognition test and EEG waveforms were recorded.The ERPs were analysed statistically.The mini-mental state examination(MMSE) was used to evaluate cognitive function,and the results were correlated with the ERPs. Results The average MMSE scores of the ACI and control groups were significantly different.Reaction times(RTs)in the picture recognition test were(798.63±49.32)ms in the ACI group and(765.21±35.67)ms in the control group,a difference significant at the 5% confidence level.The average accuracy rates,(59.75±8.45)%and(65.26±9.28)%,were also significantly different.Average N300 ERPs the in the ACI group were significantly lower than those in the control group,and the average latencies were significantly longer.Both latency and amplitude in the ACI group showed a linear correlation with MMSE scores. Conclusion The ERPs of ACI patients have some clinical significance,and can be used as a scale-based assessment of cognitive function.

BACKGROUND:After spinal cord injury, endogenous neural stem cel s are activated to proliferate and migrate to repair damaged tissue. As a clinical medicine, methylprednisolone shows a lot of functions, but its effects on endogenous neural stem cel s are stil unknown.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects of methylprednisolone on the proliferation and migration of endogenous neural stem cel s after spinal cord injury.
METHODS:Seventy-five Sprague-Dawley rats were used to make animal models of T10 complete paraplegia using Al en’s method, and randomized into methylprednisolone, normal saline and model groups. Rats in these three groups were given intraperitoneal injection of 1 g/L methylprednisolone solution at a dose of 30 mg/kg for 10 minutes and at a dose of 5.4 mg/kg/h for 23 hours, given intraperitoneal injection of normal saline at the same dose and given no treatment, respectively. Neurological and motor functions were assessed by somatosensory evoked potential and Basso Beattie Bresnahan scores at 7, 14, 21, 28 days after spinal cord injury. BrdU and Nestin staining of the injured spinal cord segment was conducted.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:A large amount of BrdU-and Nestin-positive cel s were visible in al the groups, and the number of these cel s reached the peach at 14 days after spinal cord injury. Methylprednisolone was found to inhibit BrdU-, Nestin-or double-positive cel s, indicating methylprednisolone can inhibit the proliferation and migration of endogenous neural stem cel s. The results of Basso Beattie Bresnahan scores showed no notable improvement in the motor function of the limbs. Methylprednisolone also showed no significant effects on the motor evoked potential latency, but promoted nerve conduction recovery. Al these findings indicate that methylprednisolone has some hindering effects on spinal cord repair by inhibiting the proliferation and migration of endogenous neural stem cel s after spinal cord injury.

Objective To study the heart rate variability and arrhythmia characteristics in the elderly patients with unstable angina and negative psychology and to observe the changes before and after treatment. Methods Eighty patients aged ≥ 65 years with unstable angina were recruited in the study, and divided into two groups according to the determination of Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale: 36 patients in the negative psychology group( NP group) and 44 in the non-negative psychology group ( non-NP group). All patients were monitored by Holter. Results The SDNN, SDANN, SDNNidex, rMSSD and PNN50 in the NP group were (86.8 ±14.1 ) ms, (78.1 ± 11.2 ) ms, (22.9 ± 4.5 ) ms, ( 6.3 ± 1.2 ) % and (40.3 ± 16.4) ms, respectively, which were significantly decreased compared to that in the non-NP group [ ( 138.9 ± 37.1 ) ms, ( 123.3 ± 32.5 ) ms, (25.7 ±12.3)ms,(9.2 ±5.3)% and (47.8 ± 10.7)ms,respectively] (t =4.20,2.52,2.32,2.28 and 2.20,Ps ＜0.05)The prevalence of ventricular arrhythmia, sinus tachycardia, ischemic ST-T changes and heart rate variability (HRV) (55.56%, 13.89%, 33. 33% and 52. 78%, respectively) significantly increased in the NP group,compared to those in the non-NP group(9.09% ,2.27% ,6.82%, 18.18% ,respectively) ( χ2 = 16.89,4.18,4.33 and 4.99, respectively, Ps ＜ 0.05 ). After treatment with Prozac ( fluoxetine hydrochloride scientific name), SDNN,SDANN,rMSSD,PNN50,SDNNindex significantly increased from (84.7 ± 34.0) ms, (79.2 ± 39.6) ms, (23.4 ±7.5)ms,(5.1 ±2.1)% and (38.1 ± 11.8)ms to (102. 1 ±29.6)ms,(94.2 ±26.7)ms,(35.6 ± 10.2)ms,(9.9 ± 7.5 ) % and (63.3 ± 13.8 ) ms ( t = 3.60,2.43,2.34,2.26 and 2.30, P ＜ 0.05 ). After treatment,ventricular arrhythmia,sinus tachycardia,ischemic ST-T changes and HRV significantly decreased compared to that before treatment in the NP group (χ2 = 5.58,4.33,4.24 and 4.06 ,P ＜ 0. 05 ). Conclusions In patients of coronary heart disease with unstable angina and negative psychologically , HRV decreased , and they are prone to ventricular arrhythmias,sinus tachycardia and ischemic ST-T changes. Treatment with Prozac could decrease arrhythmia and improve cardiac ischemia arrhythmias, sinus tachycardia and ischemic ST-T changes. Treatment with Prozac could decrease arrhythmia and improve cardiac ischemia.

Objective 　To evaluate the value of 99m　Tc-TRODAT-1 SPECT DAT imaging in the early diagnosing of Parkinsons disease (PD).Methods　 Eleven patients (9 PD and 2 possible PD) and eighteen healthy subjects matched by sex and age were studied with 99m　Tc-TRODAT-1 SPECT DAT imaging. Striatum specific uptake of 99mTc-TRODAT-1 was calculated according to the ratio of DAT uptake in striatum (ST) and cerebellum (CB). Results　In the hemi-Parkinsons disease group, the DAT specific uptake of 99mTc-TRODAT-1 was significantly lower (P＜0.01) in contralateral than in ipsilateral striatum to the clinically symptomatic side. There was significant decrease (p＜0.01) of striatum DAT uptake in patients with hemi-PD compared to the controls.Conclusions　99mTc-TRODAT-1 SPECT DAT imaging may help to confirm the diagnosis of PD at the early stage.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy and economy of omeprazole and esomeprazole in the treatment of brain trauma and cerebral hemorrhage complicated with upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage. METHODS:The data of 110 patients with trauma cere-bral hemorrhage complicated with upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage were retrospectively analyzed and divided into omeprazole group (56 cases)and esomeprazole group(54 cases). All patients were given conventional treatment. On this basis,omeprazole group was treated with Omeprazole for injection 40 mg by intravenous infusion;esomeprazole group was treated with Esomeprazole injection 40 mg by intravenous infusion,twice a day. The treatment course for 2 groups was 5 d. The efficacy and economy of patients were com-pared. RESULTS:The total effective rates in esomeprazole group were significantly higher than omeprazole group higher,the cost-ef-fectiveness in esomeprazde group(1 397.71)were significantly lower than omeprazole group(1 512.09)(P<0.05),andΔC/ΔE=91.52. CONCLUSIONS:Esomeprazole has good efficacy,safety and economy in the treatment of brain trauma cerebral hemorrhage compli-cated with upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage.
