Objective To review the clinical data of the first 100 consecutive robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy ( RALRP) performed by a single surgeon , and to provide our experience in passing the learning curve of RALRP .Methods The retrospective study enrolled 100 consecutive patients diagnosed with prostate cancer from June 2012 to November 2014, who had undertaken RALRP , performed by Prof.Gao Xu.The patients aged 67 (50 to 87) years, with a mean PSA level of 20.3 (1.3 to 214.0)μg/L, among which 89 had a clinical staging of T1a to T2b, 4 staged T2c, and 7 staged T3a to T4.Of the patients, 16, 37, and 47 patients were categorized as low , intermediate, and high risk level , respectively. The operation time and blood loss volume were analyzed by moving average method .Results RALRP in all 100 cases were carried out successfully , with no conversion to open prostatectomy .The mean operation time was 221 (120 to 480) min, with an average intraoperative blood loss of 207 (50 to 800) ml; 2 cases received blood transfusion.Positive surgical margin rate was 26%.Eighty (89%) of 90 cases had recovery of continence ( equal to or less than 1 pad used daily ) 3 months postoperatively;10 cases had a follow-up time less than 3 months, and 5 had gained recovery of continence .The operation time and blood loss volume were stable at the 85th -90th case. Conclusion RALRP has a short learning curve , with a promising overall treatment outcome in the early phase of learning .

Objective To establish the quality standard of Wuji-Jianwei granules. Methods The contents of Bupleuri Radix, Codonopsis Radix, Paeoniae Radix Alba, Corydalis Rhizoma in Wuji-Jianwei granules were identified by using the thin layer chromatography (TLC) method. The contents of peoniflorin was determined by the high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method. Results The TLC had strong specificity and high separation, negative control without interference. The linear range was 0.124 8-0.748 8 μg for peoniflorin (r=0.999 6). The average recovery was 94.42% (RSD=1.46%) and the content of peoniflorin was 0.725 3 mg/g. Conclusions The method is accurate and reasonable, and can be used for the quality control of Wuji-Jianwei granules.

Objective:To establish microbial limit test methods for three Hospital Preparations: the Jianer Granule, Anti-inflammatory and anti-itching Liquor and Baicao Lotion. Methods:According to the four general principles of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia (edition 2015), to test the applicability for three kinds of hospital preparations with microbial count method using outine method, medium dilution method, membrane filtration method and neutralizer combined membrane filtration method. The applicability test of control bacteria test for three kinds hospital preparations was carried out by routine method, membrane filtration method and neutralizer combined with membrane filtration method. Results:The microbial limit test of Jianer Granule was tested by routine method. The microbial limit test of Anti-inflammatory and anti-itching Liquor was tested by membrane filtration method. The microbial limit test of Baicao Lotion was tested by neutralizer combined with membrane filtration method. Conclusions:Established the methods of microbial limit test for three kinds hospital preparations which are accurate and reliable.

Objective:To analyse the composition of Astragali Radix and its honey-processed products through a combination of UPLC-Q-TOF/MS and molecular network; To compare the changes in the main components of Astragali Radix before and after honey-frying.Methods:The aqueous extracts of Astragali Radix before and after honey-frying were prepared, and the compositions were detected by UPLC-Q-TOF/MS, analyzed and identified by the Global Natural Products Molecular Network Analysis Platform (GNPS). The generated molecular networks were visualized and analyzed using Cytoscape 3.9.1 software. The compounds were identified by Masslynx 4.2 software based on the secondary fragmentation information of the compounds, and the changes in the content of the components before and after the processing of Astragali Radix were analysed.Results:47 flavonoids and 34 triterpenoid saponins were presumably identified from Astragali Radix and its honey-frying products using the above analytical methods, with about 87% of the flavonoids and about 82% of the saponins decreasing in content after honey-frying.Conclusions:The compositional changes of Astragali Radix before and after honey-frying are rapidly resolved and visualised by liquid-quantity coupling combined with molecular network. It is found that some of the flavonoids and saponins components of Astragali Radix underwent hydrolysis after honey-frying and it may be the material change basis for processing efficiency enhancement.
