ObjectiveTo Investigate the cervical cancer patients' knowledge and situation concerniug cervical cancer screening and explore the connection of cervical cancer screening status and clinical stage at diagnosis of cervical lesions.MethodsQuestionnaires were done for the cervical cancer patients who went to Peking University People's Hospital from February 2010 to October 2011.The patient's age,first visit or not,cause for treatment,awareness of cervical cancer now as well as that before diagnosis of the disease,the last cervical cancer screening' time and the clinical stage were recorded.The results of questionnaires were analyzed with SPSS 16.0.Results(1) One hundred and thirty-eight cases were collected and the average age was (48 ± 10) years old.Concerning the awareness level,the patients were divided into three groups of 10 points,5 points and 0 point based on the score of the second parts of the questionnaires.The number of the patients of the above three groups were 114 ( 82.6％ ),18 ( 13.0％ ) and 6 (4.3％ ) at present,while before the cancer diagnosis the number of the patients of the above three groups were 5 (3.6％),13 (9.4％) and 120 (87.0％).Patient's awareness level was much higher now than that before the cancer diagnosis(P ＜0.05 ).(2) Based on the last cervical cancer screening time,the patients were divided into four groups including within one year ( group 1 ),a year ago but within three years ( group 2),three years ago (group 3) and never done (group 4).There were 9 (6.5％) cases in group 1,30 (21.7％) cases in group 2,29 (21.0％) cases in group 3 and 70 ( 50.7％ ) cases in group 4.There were 5 (5/9)cases with stage Ⅰ a,3 (3/9)cases with stage Ⅰ b and 1 ( 1/9)case with stage Ⅱ or above in group 1;11 (36.7％,11/30) cases with stage Ⅰ a,15 (50.0％,15/30) cases with stage Ⅰ b and 4 (13.3％,4/30) cases with stage Ⅱ or above in group 2;5 (17.2％,5/29) cases with stage Ⅰ a,14 (48.3％,14/29 ) cases with stage Ⅰ b was and 10 ( 34.5％,10/29 )cases with stage Ⅱ or above in group 3;7 (10.0％,7/70) cases stage with Ⅰ a,35 (50.0％,35/70) cases with stage Ⅰ b and 28 (40.0％,28/70) cases with stage Ⅱ or above in group 4.The results showed that there was an increasing trend of advanced cervical carcinoma at diagnosis for the patients with longer last cervical cancer screening time (P ＜0.05 ).ConclusionsPeople's awareness level is much higher after being educated in cervical cancer.Among the cervical cancer patients,the probability of diagnosed patients with advanced cervical cancer has an increasing trend when their screening situation is poor.To raise the screening attendance rate among appropriate women,we should spread knowledge of cervical cancer to the population.

Objective To investigate the interrelation between microtubule associated protein 5 and lysosome in cultured spinal neurons. Methods Neuron culture, immunofluorescence cytochemistry, laser confocal scanning microscope were used. Results In cultured spinal neurons, both of MAP5 and calthepsin D were distributed in cytoplasm and processes. In merged pictures, the distribution of MAP5 and calthepsin D was almost similar. When nocodazole was employed, the distribution of MAP5 and calthepsin D changed simultaneously. Both fluorescence distributed in cytoplasm was uneven and the process was shorter. When PMA was employed, the distribution of red and green fluorescence became reticulum and spread toward membrane. The soma enlarged and the process displayed certain direction accompanying adjacent processes interlinked.Conclusion In cultured spinal neurons, the distributions of MAP5 and lysosomes were almost similar. Both were in cytoplasm and process. Nocodazole and PMA caused reverse change for the distribution of MAP5 and lysosomes. The distribution of MAP5 and calthepsin D treatel with Nocodazole was unregulated, while PMA was regulated and loose. These results suggested that MAP5 and lysosomes were interrelated between structure and function. Both of them were depended on the integrity of microtubule.

Neuron-specific enolase characteristically resided in neurons and neuroendocrine cells.Nowadays neuron-specific enolase,as a tumor marker,plays an increasingly significant role in the prevention and treatment of tumors of the nervous system and neuroendocrine tumors.This review intends to give an overview about it.

Objective To observe the effect of passive smoking on Clara cells and secretion of Clara cell secretory protein (CC16) in rat lung tissue and to find some relations between passive smoking and chronic inflammation in the lung. Methods 40 male rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: passive smoking for 1 month (group 1), 2 months (group 2), and 3 months (group 3) and control group (n=10). The change of Clara cell ultrastructure was detected through transmission electron microscope and the lung pathology was examined by HE stain. The expression of CC16 mRNA in the lung was detected by RT-PCR. The number of Clara cells and synthesis of CC16 were detected by immunohistochemistry, the CC16 level in BALF was detected by ELISA. Results The ultrastructure of Clara cells in group 3 was destroyed greatly and the formation of pneumatocele was observed. Objective To compare the specific proteomics between LoVo cells suspension, HT29 cells culture fluid and the serum of patients oof colorectal cancer. Methods serum of colorectal cancer, LoVo cells suspension and HT29 cells culture fluid were detected by IMAC3 chip and proteinchip reader (CipherGen Inc., VS). Results A protein at M/Z value 11731D was checked out in the LoVo cell suspension and the patients′ serum. No similar biomarkers were found in HT29 cell suspension and serum of colorectal cancer. Conclusion There existed similar biomarkers between LoVo cell suspension and serum of colorectal cancer

OBJECTIVE:To observe clinical efficacy and safety of nitric oxide (NO) combined with sildenafil in the treatment of neonatal pulmonary hypertension. METHODS:66 cases of neonatal pulmonary hypertension were selected and randomly divided in-to observation group and control group,with 33 cases in each group. 2 groups of patients were given Dopamine injection 5 μg/(kg· min),ivgtt. Control group was given NO 5-20 ppm;observation group received oral or nasal feeding of Citric acid sildenafil tab-lets,0.5-1.0 mg/kg,96 h,on the basis of control group. Both group received 3 d of treatment. Clinical efficacy of 2 groups were observed as well as the level of PaO2,PaCO2,SaO2,PAP,NO,ET-1,HIF-1α,EPO and Ca2+before and after treatment. The inci-dence of ADR was compared between 2 groups. RESULTS:Total effective rate of observation group was 96.97%,which was sig-nificantly higher than that of control group(75.76%),with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the levels of PaO2,PaCO2,SaO2,PAP,NO,ET-1,HIF-1α,EPO and Ca2+between 2 groups before treatment(P>0.05);com-pared to before treatment,PaO2,SaO2,No and Ca2+ levels of 2 groups increased significantly after treatment,while PaCO2,PAP, EPO,HIF-1,ET-1 significantly lowered and the observation group was better than the control group,with statistical significance (P<0.05). No obvious ADR was found in 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Sildenafil combined with NO is effective in the treatment of neonatal pulmonary hypertension and can effectively improve pulmonary hypertension and blood gas indexes with good safety.

The numbers of binucleated nerve cells in the rabbit superior cervical ganglionwere investigated.We found that in the neonatal rabbit the binucleated nerve cellsare 31.4% of the total number of nerve cells,and in the 100-day rabbit,thebinucleated nerve cells increase to 41.4%.We infer that the binucleated sympatheticnerve cells are formed either by the fusion of uninucleated sympathetic nerve cellsor by amitosis of the uninucleated cells.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of mean channel of neutrophil volume (MNV), mean channel of neutrophil conductivity (MNC) and mean channel of neutrophil scatter (MNS) in predicting acute bacterial infection.Methods Peripheral blood samples from 112 patients with positive blood cultures for bacteria,70 healthy subjects and 45 non-infectious subjects with high white blood cell count(WBC) were studied using the Coulter LH 750 hematology analyzer.MNV, MNC, MNS and neutrophil volume distribution width (NDW) were retrospectively analyzed and compared with total WBC, percentage of neutrophils,neutrophil left-shift and CRP.112 blood bacterial infections were grouped according to WBC count (A:WBC ＜11.0×109 /L;B:11.0×109/L≤WBC＜15.0×109 /L;C:WBC≥15.0×109 /L) and neutrophil rate (NE ＜ 0.85 and NE ≥ 0.85 ).Results MNV and NDW increased significantly in septic patients (154.17 ± 10.08,24.36 ± 4.14 ) compared with those of healthy control group (142.09 ± 4.13,19.04 ± 1.97) and non-infectious patients with high WBC group ( 150.63 ± 8.14,20.19 ± 4.73 ).There was statistically significant difference (F value were 20.738 and 28.190 respectively,P ＜ 0.01 ). On the contrary, MNS decreased significantly in septic patients (137.15 ± 7.61 ) compared with that of healthy group (144.51±4.36) and nonspetic patients with high WBC group (142.45±7.11) ,there was significant statistical difference (F=5.217,P＜0.01).The MNV, NDW and MNS of A group were 148.09±5.76,22.39±1.97,140.07±6.11 respectively.The MNV, NDW and MNS of B group were 152.83±5.75,24.14±1.35,141.44±5.35 respectively.The MNV, NDW and MNS of C group were 164.28±6.49,29.42±5.93,134.27±9.61 respectively. There was statistically significant difference compared with healthy group (F value were 24.720,31.642,7.931, P ＜ 0.01).The MNV, NDW and MNS in the group with NE ＜0.85 were 149.17±9.06,22.59±2.73,141.19±4.34 respectively.The MNV, NDW and MNS in the group with NE≥0.85 group were 159.03±10.23,27.64±4.51,135.62 ± 8.95 respectively.There was statistically significant difference compared with healthy group ( F value was 23.970,51.309,19.792,P＜0.01).With a cut-off of 150 for the MNV, a specificity of 90% and sensitivity of 70% were achieved.NDW was associated with neutrophil left-shift (r=0.33,P＜0.01).With a cut-off of 23 for the NDW, a specificity of 100% and a sensitivity of 72% were achieved.The sensitivity of the MNV and NDW was better than total white blood cells count (with a cut-off≥ 11.0×109 /L, the sensitivity was 57% ), percentage of neutrophils( with a cut-off≥0.85, the sensitivity was 44% ) and neutrophil shift to left ( with a cut-off ＞5%, the sensitivity was 66% ) and CRP (with a cut-off ≥10 mg/L, the sensitivity was 65% ).Conclusions The MNV and NDW of the neutrophil can reflect the morphologic change of neutrophil sensitively and specificialy in acute infection. As quantitative, objective and more sensitive parameters, MNV and NDW may have a potential role for predicting the acute bacterial infection.

Objective To investigate the influencing factors of chronic brucellosis.Methods Nested case control method was used to study newly diagnosed patients (n =600) with brucellosis in a cohort study in 2012.Data of general characterstics,clinical presentation,treatment and prognosis of those patients were collected.These patients were followed up for one year,and the chronic patients as the case group (n =248) and the healed patients as a control group (n =260).By means of Logistic multivariate analysis,factors turned brucellosis into chronic were screened.Result The chronic brucellosis-related factors were:gender,veterinary or epidemic prevention staff,muscle and joint pain,fatigue symptoms,and substandard treatment (x2 =5.163,16.445,14.977,17.154,8.813,all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Gender (female),veterinary or epidemic prevention staff,muscle and joint pain,fatigue symptoms,and substandard treatment are probably the chronic brucellosis-related factors

Objective To figure out clinical characteristics and risk factors of secondary fungal infection in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods Two hundred and ninetysix patients with COPD were enrolled in our study who were treated in the People's Hospital of Liaocheng.Of whom,56 cases with secondary fungal infection were served as infection group and other 240 cases were non infection group.The clinical data including sorts of antibiotics,the therapy periods of antibiotic,hormones,hypoalbuminemia,invasive operation and death cases were recorded.Sort of fungal were determined by sputum culture.Results Mortality of infection group was 16.1％ (9/56),obviously higher than that of the noninfected group (6.2％ (15/240)) and the difference was significant(x2 =6.436,P ＜0.05).The average sorts of antibiotic,the therapy periods of antibiotic,rate of hormones,the rate of hypoalbuminemia,rate of were invasive operation in infection group were (2.6 ±0.8),(15.4 ±2.6) d,41.1％ (23/56),57.5％ (32/56),35.7％ (20/56),higher than those in non infection group(1.6 ±0.6,(9.6 ±2.2) d,8.3％ (20/240),12.1％ (29/240),5.4％ (13/240) ; P ＜ 0.05).The total efficacy rate in non infection group was 90.4％ (217/240),higher than that in infection group (78.6％ (44/56)),and the difference was significant (x2 =4.248,P ＜ 0.05).The majority sort of fungal in infection group was monilia albicans.Conclusion The main risk factors of secondary fungal infection in patients with COPD include long-term using high-end application antibiotics,hormones,hypealbuminemia and invasive operation.The therapy on fungi is focused on pathogen treatment such as anti-fungal drug therapy.
