Acta Physiologica Sinica 2012;64(3):327-332
The metabolic syndrome, a cluster of risk factors for cardiovascular disease, is closely related to environmental and lifestyle risk factors. Increasing evidence suggests that environmental risk factors may involve an increase in xenobiotic exposure, for example due to environmental toxins, medications, high meat intake, food additives and supplements; while lifestyle risk factors, such as sedentary lifestyles, may involve a decrease in the detoxification and elimination of xenobiotics. The skin, the body's largest organ, plays a distinct role in the detoxification and elimination of xenobiotics and the body lipid homeostasis, which is affected by sedentary lifestyle and physical activity, as well as by ambient temperature. Thus, it seems that decreased skin biotransformation and excretion, for example due to low ambient temperature and sedentary lifestyle, may be an important risk factor for metabolic syndrome. This review aims to provide insight into the role of the skin in the development of metabolic syndrome.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2009;17(3):750-755
This study was aimed to investigate various factors influencing long-term survival in adult AML patients with fusion gene aml1/eto positive. A single institutional retrospective study with long-term follow-up was performed to better define the prognostic factors for AML patients with aml1/eto positive. Newly diagnosed 89 adult AML patients with aml1/eto positive were followed up for 1 to 42 months (median 24 months) from January 2004 to July 2008. Univariate and multivariate analysis of potential factors influencing survival and prognosis were carried out by using Log-Rank and Cox regression method, including sex, age, initial WBC counts, extramedullary leukemic disease, central nervous system leukemia (CNSL), chromosome aberrations, immunophenotype, first induction regimen, chemotherapy course to complete remission (CR), time from induction therapy to CR, negative or positive rate of aml1/eto and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and so on. The results showed that the estimated 5-year overall survival (OS) and relapse-free survival (RFS) were (50.0 +/- 2.3)% and (47.0 +/- 1.9)% respectively in follow-up of 89 patients for 1 - 42 months (mean 24 months). Univariate analysis revealed that initial WBC counts, CNSL, chemotherapy course to CR, time from induction therapy to CR, persistent negative in remission and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation were important prognostic factors for long-term surviva1. Multivariate study demonstrated that initial WBC counts, CNSL, CD56 positive, negative or positive rate of aml1/eto, time from induction therapy to CR, persistent negative result of RT-PCR assay in remission and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation were all critical factors in relation to OS and RFS. It is concluded that Chinese adult AML patients with fusion gene aml1/eto positive have some different characteristics as compared with patients from other countries, a relatively poor outcome is observed in patients, HSCT should be recommended to adult AML patients.

World Journal of Emergency Medicine 2015;6(2):100-104
BACKGROUND: Venous thromboembolism (VTE), including both deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), is a common, lethal disorder that affects hospitalized and non-hospitalized patients. This study aimed to review the progress in the research into VTE. DATA SOURCES: We reviewed the studies about VTE and verified different genetic polymoriphisms of VTE. RESULTS: The pathogenesis of VTE involves hereditary and acquired factors. Many studies indicated that the disorder of coagulation and fibirnolytic system is of utmost importance to this disease. Genetic polymoriphism-related VTE demonstrated significant differences among geographies and ethnicities. CONCLUSION: VTE has many risk factors, but genetic factors play an important role.
6.Discussion for relationship between serum CA125 and heart failure
Chinese Journal of cardiovascular Rehabilitation Medicine 2018;27(1):88-90
Many studies indicated that with the rise of cardiac function class in patients with heart failure (HF), serum CA125 concentration gradually rose, and it's significant positively correlated with BNP level and NYHA class. It 's reported that in HF patients with pleural effusion, serum CA125 level significantly increases, and rehospitalization rate and mortality of HF patients rise along with CA125 level. Therefore, the present article made a discussion on relationship between serum CA125 level and HF.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2004;10(8):461-463
ObjectiveTo examined how autoregulation is affected by vasospasm after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) by using transcranial Doppler. MethodsThe moving correlation coefficient between slow changes of arterial blood pressure and mean or systolic flow velocity (FV), termed Mx and Sx, respectively, was used to characterize cerebral autoregulation. Vasospasm was declared when the mean FV increased to more than 120 cm/s and the Lindegaard ratio was more than 3. This occurred in 15 of 32 SAH patients. On the basis of the bilateral transcranial Doppler recordings of the middle cerebral artery in vasospastic patients, Mx and Sx were calculated for baseline and vasospasm. ResultsMx increased during vasospasm (0.46±0.32) and was significantly higher (P=0.03) than at baseline (0.21±0.24) Sx was also increased (0.22±0.26 vs 0.05±0.21,P=0.03). Mx correlated with mean FV (P=0.577, P=0.006) and the Lindegaard ratio (r=0.672,P<0.01).Mx(P=0.006) and Sx (P=0.044) were higher on the vasospastic side compared with the contralateral side.ConclusionThe increased Mx and Sx during cerebral vasospasm demonstrate impaired cerebral autoregulation. Mx and Sx provide additional information on changes in autoregulation in SAH patients.

Objective To evaluate the value of GE′s Q-analysis real-time ultrasonic elastography quantitative analysis software in the diagnosis of breast diseases and explore the best cutoff point of the breast diseases diagnosis. Methods The elastograms of 71 breast lesions(66 patients)were evaluated by using the GE LOGIQ E9 with the Q-analysis software. All the 71 lesions were diagnosed as malignant and benign lesions by surgery or biopsy. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC)curves of the entirety elasticity rate and local elasticity rate was performed. We compared the areas under ROC curves ( AUC) of the two modalities and confirmed the best cutoff point of the breast diseases diagnosis .We also assessed the sensitivity and specificity of the two modalities .Lastly we assessed the ROC curves with Z test to determine whether the difference between the two modalities was significant .Results Among the 71 leisions (66 patients),there were 37 benign lesions and 34 malignant ones. The elastograms of the leisions showed that the elasticity of 37 benign leisions was good ,the hardness value was low and the texture was even .As for the 34 malignant leisions, the elasticity was bad,the hardness value was high and the texture was uneven .The AUC of the local modality was 0.899 ( >0.5).The AUC of the entire modality, was 0.985 ( >0.5).Both modalities were accurate for the diagnosis of breast diseases .When the cutoff point of entirety elasticity rate was set as 3.60,the sensitiveness was 82.4%and the specificity was 86.5%.When the cutoff point of local elasticity rate was set as 2.60,the sensitiveness was 97.1% and the specificity was 91.9%.The difference between the two modalities was significant (Z =2.621,P=0.0088).Conclusions Q-analysis real-time ultrasonic elastography quantitative analysis is able to evaluate the rigidity and texture of tissue and is valuable to distinguish benign breast lesions between malignant breast lesions .The sensitiveness and specificity of local modality are higher than that of entirety modality .
10.Treatment for exudative age-related macular degeneration with Conbercept: a Meta-analysis
International Eye Science 2018;18(6):1028-1033
· AIM:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Conbercept for exudative age-related macular degeneration (eAMD) systematically,in order to provide evidence-based reference for clinical use.· METHODS:We performed a comprehensive search for the randomized controlled trials(RCTs)about conbercept trail group vs control group in the treatment of eAMD published by November,2017 from PubMed,Cochrane Library,CNKI and Wanfang Database.Studies obtained from eligible database were filtered according to modified Jadad scale, and data were retrieved from those studies for further analysis. Then,we performed a Meta-analysis using RevMan 5.3 and Stata 12.0 statistical software.· RESULTS:A total of 12 RCTs were included, involving 924 patients. The results of Meta-analysis showed that the central macular retinal thickness (CMT) markedly decreased at 1,3,6 and 12mo after treatment;visual acuity at 3 and 6mo and quality of life (QOL) at 6mo were significantly improved;total effective rate of treatment at increased, which was statistically different to control group (P<0.05),but rate of adverse reaction was similar (P>0.05).The long-term effect was better than control group.· CONCLUSION:The existing evidence supports that conbercept has good therapeutic efficacy and safety for eAMD.It can significantly reduce the CMT,improve the visual acuity, the quality of life and the total efficiency of treatment, and the long-term effect is better than control group.
