Objective To observe the influence of early motor cardiac rehabilitation on the life quality of acute myocardial infarction patients. Methods 30 acute myocardial infarction patients underwent percutaneous transluminal coronary intervention (PCI) were randomly divided into rehabilitative group and control group which consist of 15 patients. The rehabilitative group received the individual sports programme and health education in addition to conventional treatment and nursing. The control group was just treated by traditional way. Barthel index was used to evaluate the self-care ability and life quality. Results The rehabilitative group had significantly higher self-care ability compared with control group after 30 days' treatment[(85.48 ±6.77)points vs (69.35 ±6.46)points] (P＜0.05).The rehabilitative group could care by themselves and carry on the light physical activity. In addition, heart rehabilitatione frequency was the favorable factor for improving the life quality of acute myocardial infarction patients.Conclusion Early motor cardiac rehabilitation could effectively improve the life quality of acute myocardial infarction patients which had a wide clinical application.

AIM: To assess the impact of diabetes on corneal endothelial cells through the quantitative analysis of corneal endothelial cell morphology for patients with diabetics.
METHODS: The corneal thickness and endothelial cell morphology of 360 eyes of 299 cases were detected using full automatic corneal endothelial cell analyzer. The normal control group included 175 eyes of 148 cases, and there were 185 eyes of 151 cases for the patients with diabetes, 110 eyes of 92 cases for the non-proliferating phase group and 75 eyes of 59 cases for the proliferating phase group. The average density of central corneal endothelial cells, proportion of hexagonal cells, coefficient of variation and corneal thickness were compared among groups, and then the statistical analysis was conducted.
RESULTS: Compared with the cornea of the normal group, in the diabetes group, the coefficient of variation of corneal endothelial cells and central corneal thickness increased, while the average density of central corneal endothelial cells and proportion of hexagonal cells decreased, showing a significant difference (P<0. 05). Compared with the cornea of non-proliferating phase group, in the proliferating phase group, the density of central corneal endothelial cells decreased, the coefficient of variation of corneal endothelial cells increased, while the proportion of hexagonal cells decreased with a significant difference (P<0. 05), and the central corneal thickness increased, showing no significant difference(P>0. 05).
CONCLUSION: Compared with the cornea of normal control group, in the diabetes group, the corneal endothelial cells show abnormal morphology, which aggravates with the severity of lesions, especially for the significant changes in the coefficient of variation and the proportion of hexagonal cells. As a result, the corneal resistance to damage in patients with diabetes will decrease.

ObjectiveTo investigate the ideal surgical period of children with tongue-tie.MethodsThe data of 517 children with tongue-tie treated by simply clipped surgery or horizontal-to-vertical plasty were analyzed retrospectively to evaluate the effect of operation and the level of phonologic prognosis.ResultsThe sex ratio was approximately 10∶4 (male∶female) in all groups. Two cases occurred postoperative hemorrhage. The follow-up compliance was better in children <1 year old, but higher levels of noncompliance occurred in children >1 years old. One year after surgical treatment, there were no phonologic disorders caused by tongue motion in children <1 year old, but the levels of phonologic prognosis in children >1 years old were better, moderate, and insignificant respectively.ConclusionThe ideal surgical period of children with tongue-tie is age of 6～12 months.

The way of "extracting-salting-chromatography" was used to purify the phycoerythrin and phycocyanin from Porphyra yezoensis in process scale-up.First,by comprehensive comparison of efficiency,the Sephadex G-25 was selected from four resins (Sephadex G-25、G-100、S-300 and CL-6B) as the best choice used in crude extract desalting of phycobiliprotein.Then the preparation process of phycobiliprotein was scaled-up with raw material(Porphyra yezoensis) increased from 1g to 20g,and finally to 400g.The results indicated that the yields of purified phycoerythrin and phycocyanin (absorption spectra purity above 3.2) increased during according to process scale-up,with 0.323% phycoerythrin and 0.148% phycocyanin obtained from 400g frozen Porphyra yezoensis blades respectively.It is no doubt that the process involved in the experiment is a potential way for large scale preparation of phycobiliproteins of high purity.
