Based on the software of traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system (TCMISS), this article aims to analyze the experience and composition rules for cough from the descendant of Meng He Medical School, Xu Di-hua. The cough cases treated by Xu Di-hua were collected, and recorded into TCMISS (V2.0). Data mining methods such as Apriori algorithm and complex system entropy cluster were used to analyze the medication principles of Xu Di-hua for cough from pathogenesis and therapeutie aspects, and dig out the frequency of the herbs in prescription, core medicine and new combinations. The experience of curing cough from Professor Xu Di-hua were well found in the research. He is good at choosing prescriptions accurately, and pays attention to simultaneous use of cold and moisture drugs with combination of tonification and purgation. He is skilled in adding or reducing materia medica flexibly, as well as regulating lung to relieve cough and eliminating phlegm by clearing heat.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
Objective To explore the change of serum zinc level of children with rotavirus(RV) enteritis and efficacy of zinc supplementation on children with rotaviral enteritis. Methods One thousand one hundred and eighty-three healthy children were enrolled in this study, who were divided into different groups, and the zinc levels of children in every different age group were detected. These levels were used as normal levels of children in Dongguan district. One hundred and forty-three diarrhea patients in this 2 years were enrolled.Confirmed dia-gnosis was depended on the RV test in patients′ stool. The children with diarrhea were randomly divided into zinc treatment group (n=72) and conventional therapy group (n=71).The serum zinc levels in RV enteritis was analyzed. The patients in conventional therapy group were received diarrhea conventional therapy inchuded smectite and fluid infusion and so on;in addition to diarrhea conventional therapy, zinc gluconate 20 mg/d (10 mg/d below 6 months of age) for successive 14 days were given the patientsin zinc treatment group. The different efficacy of the 2 groups and the changes of serum zinc in treatment group were analyzed. Results Compared with normal children, the ones suffering from RV enteritis had lower serum zinc level(P0.05).Conclusions The ones suffering from RV enteritis have lower serum zinc level. In addition to diarrhea conventional therapy, giving zinc treatment has better effect on enhancing curative effect of RV enteritis. On the other hand, the suggestion of zinc supplement made by WHO is also suitable for Chinese children.

OBJECTIVEThe present study is concerning qualitative and quantitative detection of Poria cocos quality based on FT-near infrared (FT-NIR) spectroscopy combined with chemometrics.
METHODThe Poria cocos polysaccharides contents were determined by UV. Transmission mode was used in the collection of NIR spectral samples. The pretreatment method was first derivation and vector normalization. Then principal component analysis (PCA) was used to build classification model and partial least square (PLS) to build the calibration model.
RESULTThe results showed that conventional criteria such as the R, root mean square error of calibration (RMSEC), and the root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) are 0.944 0, 0.072 1 and 0.076 2, respectively. The misclassified sample is 0 using the qualitative model built by PCA.
CONCLUSIONThe prediction models based on NIR have a better performance with high precision, good stability and adaptability and can be used to predict the polysaccharose content of Poria cocos rapidly, which can provide a fast approach to discriminate the different parts of Poria cocos.

Pericellular matrix (PCM) is a narrow tissue region surrounding chondrocytes, which "chondron" with its enclosed cells. A number of studies suggested that PCM is rich in proteoglycans, collagen and fibronectin, and plays an important role in regulating microenvironment of chondrocytes. Direct measures of PCM properties through micropipette aspiration technique showed that PCM was different from mechanical property of chondrocytes and nature extracellular matrix. However, the function of PCM is not clear, and need further study.

Objective To measure the renal tissue texture or flexibility with virtual touch quantization (VTQ) and to tentatively examine its clinical application in patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD).Methods A total of 750 patients (1500 kidneys) were performed with VTQ,including 400 cases in the control group, and 350 cases in the CKD group.A conventional ultrasound examination (two-dimensional,color Doppler) were first taken, and then the shear wave velocity (Vs) was measured which reflected the textural elastic. Results In both groups the Vs was the highest in renal cortex with significant difference (P<0.05); renal cortical region Vs in CKD group was lower than those in control group (P<0.05),while Vs of renal medulla and renal sinus had no significant difference in the two groups. The severity of renal dysfunction was increased along with a Vs decrease of renal cortex. Conclusion VTQ is helpful to assess renal function of patients with CKD.

Objective To study the difference in therapeutic effects and side effects of ibuprofen versus indomethacin for symptomatic patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) in the premature infants. Methods Meta analysis was used to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate the data extracted from 6 public papers about comparative study of ibuprofen and indomethacin. Results The rate of ductal closure was similar with the two treatment regimes (intravenous ibuprofen and indomethacin). In side effects on PDA,the incidence of oliguria induced by ibuprofen was significantly lower than that of indomethacin though there were no difference in other side effects. Conclusions The efficacy of ibuprofen for the early treatment of PDA in preterm infants is similar with indomethacin, and has low incidence of oliguria.

0.05); serum HBsAb levels of pregnant mice and neonatal mice in group with CpG-1826 (20 ?g)+hepatitis B vaccine significantly higher than those in group with CpG-1826 (10 ?g, 40 ?g)+ hepatitis B vaccine, hepatitis B vaccine and control respectively(P0.05).Conclusions Combination injection of CpG-1826 20 ?g and hepatitis B vaccine can markedly increase serum antibody levels of pregnant mice and neonatal mice, but don′t affect the survival quantity, the growth and development of neonatal mice.CpG-1826 is an ideal immune adjuvant for neonates with immature immune system during pregnancy.

Objective To investigate the expression of cyclin kinase inhibitor P21~(WAF1) and P27~(KIP1)in children with acute leukemia and its clinical significance. Methods A total of 32 hospitalized children with acute leukemia(AL) were included in this study.Their bone marrow samples were collected before chemotherapy and individual patient was detected after complete remission(CR).The method of immunocytochemistry was used to estimate the expression of P21~(WAF1) and P27~(KIP1).Both positive percentage and intensity of the cells were counted. Results Findings showed that the positive ratios of P21~(WAF1) and P27~(KIP1) in total samples,ALL samples and AML samples were lower than the control group(P

A system analysis about the microbial flora of normal and abnormal soybean sauce liquor from the high-salt-level watery state fermentation was made and the dominant bacteria and yeasts were identified. On the other hand,a discussion of effect of temperature on microbial flora was made. The results indicated that there were no obvious differences about the count of aerobe,spore-producing bacteria, enterobacteriaceae, lactic acid bacteria and anaerobe between the normal and abnormal soybean sauce liquor and there were marked differences about the count of yeasts and salt-tolerant bacteria. The predominant yeasts in normal soybean sauce were Torulopsis and Saccharomyces, accounting for 55.9% and 35.3% of the total yeasts separately, and in abnormal soybean sauce were Pichia, candida and Saccharomyces, accounting for 62.8%,17.9% and 9.0% respectively.

Microbiology 1992;0(04):-
These years with industrial antiseptics and disinfectants widely used, especially unscientifically used, the resistance of microorganisms is more and more serious, which brought much more difficulties to industrial producing. The developments on the resistance of microorganisms to industrial antiseptics and disinfectants, their resistant mechanisms and the control strategies are reviewed, which aids us to reasonably use industrial organic antiseptics and disinfectants in existence and provides academic and scientific basis.
