1.The curative effect of recombinant human interferon α-2b gel on flooding prevention in loop electrosurgical excision procedure
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2009;32(21):19-22
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of recombinant human interferon α-2b gel onflooding prevention in loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) during and after the operation.Method The 152 patients with cervical disease were randomly divided into three groups: group A(recombinant human interferon α-2b gel treatment group), group B (hypophysin treatment group)and groupC(control group). Results The amount of intraoperative bleeding and the amount of post-operative bleedingof the group A was (2.57±1.19) ml and (2.24±1.75) ml, the group B was (3.00±1.49) ml and (45.86±26.14) hal, the group C was (45.62±39.57) ml and (56.90±41.90) ml, respectively. There was no differencebetween group A and group B in the amount of intraoperative bleeding (P>0.05), but significantly less thangroup C (P<0.01). There was no difference between group B and group C in the amount of post-operativebleeding (P>0.05), but significantly much more than group A (P<0.01). Conclusion Recombinanthuman interferon α-2b gel is effective on reducing intraoperative and post-operative bleeding in LEEP.

4.Effect-of Angong Niuhuang Pill on Th1/Th2 of cerebral infarction patients of phlegm-heat obstructing orifices in China and Indonesia.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2015;35(3):287-289
OBJECTIVETo observe the effect of Angong Niuhuang Pill (ANP) on Thl/Th2 in cerebral infarction patients and to explore the mechanism of phlegm-heat obstructing orifices.
METHODSRe- cruited were 30 cerebral infarction patients of phlegm-heat obstructing orifices syndrome (PHOOS) both in China and Indonesia. They were assigned to 4 groups according to the use of ANP, the Chinese treatment group, the Indonesia treatment group, the Chinese control group, and the Indonesia control group. Patients in the two control groups received conventional treatment, while those in the two treatment group additionally took ANP for 30 successive days. Their adverse reactions were observe, and levels of INF-γ and IL-4 were detected.
RESULTSThe INF-γ level and the INF-γ/IL-4 ratio significantly decreased, and the IL-4 level increased after treatment in the four groups with statistical difference (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group after treatment in the same country, the INF-γ level and the INF-γ/IL-4 ratio were lower, and the IL-4 level was higher in the two treatment groups (P < 0.05). Compared with the two Chinese groups, the INF-γ level and the INF-γ/IL-4 ratio were higher, and the IL-4 level was lower in the two Indonesian groups (P < 0.05). There was no statistical difference in the post-treatment indices between the two treatment groups.
CONCLUSIONSANP had moderating effect on Th1/Th2 in cerebral infarction pa- tients. Cerebral infarction patients of PHOOS might exist certain relation with Th1/Th2.

Objective To survey the multi-drug resistance among the isolates of methicillinresistant Staphyloeocus from lower respiratory tract in post-cardiothoracic surgery patients and the risk factors contributing to infection aggravation. Methods The clinical data of lower respiratory tract infections were reviewed retrospectively from June 2011 to December 2012.The antimicrobial susceptibility testing was analyzed according to CLSI breakpoints 2010.Results A total of 323 clinical isolates was identified in 264 patients, including gram-positive coccus (126 strains) and gram-negative bacillus (197 strains). The prevalence of methiciIlin-resistant srtains was 88.5 % (54/61)in Staphylococus.Aureus (MRSA),and 77.3% (17/22) in Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE).No VISA or VRSA strain was identified. One enterococcal strain was resistant to Vancomycin and teicoplanin.MRSA/MRSE were also isolated from hands and nasal vestibule of nurses, article surfae,pipeline/interface of breathing machine and ward atmosphere. Conclusions Patients after cardiothoracic operation are susceptible to lower respiratory tract infection with gram positive cocci, which should be paid more attention to airway management.Rational administration, sterile operation and antimicrobial therapy are effective ways for control of multi-durg resistance.

Objective To investigate the role of matrix metalloproteinase 2, 9 (MMP 2, MMP 9) and tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinases 2, 1(TIMP 2, TIMP 1 ) in human amniochorionic membrane Methods Amniochorionic membranes were collected from the following groups of women: (1) women with spontaneous premature rupture of membrane (PROM) before onset of labor (PROM group, n =8), (2) Women with term labor after vaginal delivery (vaginal delivery group, n =8), (3) Women undergoing elective cesarean section (C section group, n =8) Messenger ribonucleic acid expression for MMP 2, MMP 9, and their specific inhibitors TIMP 2 and TIMP 1 were studied with reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction Results (1)MMP 2 level in PROM group was 0 849?0 037;in vaginal delivery group 0 327?0 023;in C section group 0 307?0 028 Expression in PROM group was highest, with significant difference compared with the other groups ( P 0 05) (2)MMP 9 level in PROM group was 0 026?0 004;in vaginal delivery group 0 008?0 001,with significant difference between the two groups ( P 0 05) Conclusions In PROM group, the expression of MMP 2, MMP 9 and their inhibitors TIMP 2, TIMP 1 is imbalanced, leading to increased extracellular matrix degradation, and weakening of the fetal membranes, and eventually premature rupture of the membranes

Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2001;17(5):470-471
Objective To explore the pathogeny, pathology, ultrasonic and clinical expression of upper extremity deep venous flow obstruction and superior vena cava syndrome. Methods Retrospective analysis and summarize the disease changes of 10 cases in recent 5 years. Results 7 patients of 10 cases were superior vena cava syndrome, in which 4 cases caused by upper right lung malignant tumor, 3 cases caused by upper and media mediastinal malignant tumor. 2 patients of 10 cases were found thrombosis in right subclavian vein caused by duct of artificial pacemaker. The left 1 patient was no reason thrombosis in right axillary vein. Conclusion Ultrasonography combine with color and spectral Dopper image can evaluate the clinical development and therapeutic efficiency, which is a useful and effective non-invasive examination.
