A high active soybean isoflavone glucoside hydrolase-producing mould strain was isolated from spirit qu. Its optimal hydrolase-producing conditions were as follows: 2.5% wheat bran as carbon source, 1% NaNO3 as nitrogen source, initial pH7. 0, culture medium volume 40mL/250mL, inoculating quantity 8% , culture temperature 30℃, revolutions 160r/min and culture time 84h. The enzyme activity reached 82 U/mL. Cu2+ can inhibit Absidia sp. R strain from producing the hydrolase, the influence of other metal ions was not remarkable on it.

Objective To study the clinical significance of P - selection expression in children with viral encephalitis and the correlation between this expression and the cerebral infarction with critical viral encephalitis. Methods Flow cytometric was employed to detect the expression of P- selection on the surface of platelet membrane in 44 children with viral encephalitis(20 light patients and 24 critical patients) and 20 healthy control children. The area of the cerebral infarction was determined by computed tomographic scan in 20 patients with critical viral encephalitis. The correlation between the two variables was analyzed. Results The expressions of P - selection on the surface of platelet membrane on less than 5 days and on 2 weeks after the onset of viral encephalitis were significantly higher in critical patients than those in normal control children and light patients( P

National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(3):268-272
Chronic prostatitis is a highly prevalent disease of unclear etiology. Researches show that autoimmune reaction is one cause of the problem. An effective animal model may help a lot to understand the pathogenesis and find proper diagnostic and therapeutic strategies of the disease. Currently used autoimmune prostatitis-related animal models include those of age-dependent spontaneous prostatitis, autoimmune regulator-dependent spontaneous prostatitis, self antigen-induced prostatitis, and steroid-induced prostatitis. Whether an animal model of autoimmune prostatitis is successfully established can be evaluated mainly from the five aspects: histology, morphology, specific antigens, inflammatory factors, and pain intensity.

Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2015;(1):145-148
Objective:To investigate the role of anaphylatoxin C 5 a in patients with asthma .Methods:A prospective study was performed between September 2006 and February 2007.A total of 33 patients with acute exacerbation of asthma and 13 healthy subjects were recruited into the study .The patients with acute exacerbation of asthma were also studied when they returned to the remission state .Levels of lung function, levels of C5a in induced sputum and cell differential count in induced sputum were determined . Results:The level of C5 a in induced sputum was significantly higher in patients with acute exacerbation of asthma [0.85(0.68-2.13) μg/L] than that in patients with stable asthma [0.45(0.26-0.88)μg/L, Z=-2.193, P=0.013];Sputum C5a levels in stable asthma patients were significantly higher than those in healthy controls [0.14(0.06-0.45) μg/L, Z=-2.141, P=0.015].The level of C5a in patients with severe exacerbation [2.21(1.27 -9.0) μg/L] was significantly higher than those in patients with mild exacerbation [0.34(0.17-0.63) μg/L] and moderate exacerbation [0.85(0.55-1.67) μg/L,χ2 =12.330, P=0.001].The level of C5a in induced sputum was positively correlated with the number of total cells count (r=0.797, P=0.004), neutrophils (r=0.504, P=0.032) and macrophages ( r =0.424, P=0.036 ) in acute exacerbation of asthma .Conclusion: C5a levels in induced sputum could be identified as an important prognostic biomarker , which involved in asthma ’ s pathogenesis .

Objective To investigate the changes of plasma adrenomedullin(ADM),endothelin-1(ET-1) in infants with severe pneumonia complicated by acute congestive heart failure, and its relationship with heart function. Methods Forty-seven bronchopneumonia patients in their acute phase were divided into three groups:group A1,severe pneumonia complicated by acute congestive heart failure without congenitive heart disease(CHD)(n=15);group B1,severe pneumonia complicated by acute congestive heart failure with CHD(n=12);group C1,mild bronchopneumonia(n=20).A2,B2 and C2 groups were the convalescence groups of A1,B1 and groups C1 respertively.Group D,20 healthy infants were used as control group.Plasma ADM,ET-1 levels of patients in acute phase(pre-treatment)and convalescent phase and controls were measured by specific radioimmunoassary. Results 1.The plasma ADM levels significantly increased in the acute phase of A1,B1 and C1 compared with healthy controls(Pa0.05).3.The plasma ADM,ET-1 levels in A2 and B2 groups significantly decreased compared with those in group A1 and B1(Pa0.05).Conclusions The ADM,ET-1 play very important roles in the pathophysiological processes of pneumonia and congestive heart failure in infants.ET-1 may play an important role in the pathogenesis of severe pneumonia in infants complicated with congestive heart fai-lure.The level of plasma ET-1 is related with the degree of congestive heart failure.

A high activity isoflavone-glucosidase, which hydrolysis glycosides, was obtainde using liquid fermentation from Absidia sp. R strain. The isoflavone-glucosidase was purified 11 folds with yielding rate of 10.9% after ammonium sulfate precipitation and DEAE-Cellocuse (DE-52) ion exchange chromatography. SDS-PAGE results showed that the molecular weight is 53kD. And the optimum temperature, the optimum pH, Km and pI of the enzyme are 50 deegrees C, 5.0, 1.3 x 10(-2) mol/L and 3.2, respectively. The isoflavone-glucosidase is also rather stable under 60 degrees C and in pH range from 5.0 to 7.0. The enzyme can be activated by Co2+ and Ca2+, and be inhibited by Ag+ and Cu2+.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(24):-
Objective To explore the changes of contents of glutamate (Glu) and aspartate (Asp) in hippocampus formation and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in kainite acid(KA) induced epilepsy rats. Methods SD rats(n=40) were divided into 2 groups randomly:the KA group [intracerebroventricular injection(icv) of KA, 2 ?g/kg] and control group(icv of NS). KA group were divided into 4 groups at 6 h,1,3 and 7 d,each group 8 rats.High pressure liquid chromatgraphy(HPLC) was used to assess the concentrations of Glu and Asp in hippocampus formation and CSF.Results In the hippocampus, the contents of Glu and Asp increased continuously 1 d after seizure , but not different from those of control group.Three days later, only Glu became significantly different from control group. However, the contents of Glu and Asp in the CSF were significantly different from the control 6 h after seizure. Conclusion The contents of excite amino acid (especially Glu)in CSF increase immediately after KA injection, which are earlier than those in hippocampus formation.

Objective To explore the relationship between the serum level of E-selectin and S128R polymorphisms in the exon 4 of E-selectin gene and acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in local Han peoples. Method The genotype of E-selectin were detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method in 168 patients with acute myocardial infarction and 200 healthy controls, and the serum level of E-selectin was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Results There was significant difference in frequencies of allele and genotype in S128R polymorphism between acute myocardial infarction and control groups respectively,The relative risk suffered from acute myocardial infarction of SS genotype was 2.234 times of the SR genotype (OR=2.234,95% CI:1.112~4.437),The serum E-selectin level was significantly higher among carriers of SR genotype as compared with SS genotype (41.65?8.87)?g/L vs (34.23?6.72)?g/L,P
