Objective To study the effect of quercetin on proliferation and expression of P38MAPK and HMGB1 protein in neonatal rat cardiac fibroblasts induced by TNF-α.Methods Purified cardiac fibroblasts were obtained by trypsin digestion and differential adherence method.The proliferation of cardiac fibroblasts was detected by MTT assay.The expression of P38MAPK and HMGB1 protein was detected by Western blot.Results Quercetin had no effect on the proliferation of cardiac fibroblasts in the basal state but inhibited the proliferation of cardiac fibroblasts induced by TNF-α,and the A value of each group was increased with the increase of quereetin concentration(P＜0.05).The exspression of P38MAPK、HMGB1 were decresed with the icrease of quercetin.Conclusion Quercetin may inhibit the proliferation of cardiac fibroblasts induced by TNF-α.The mechanism may be inhibit the expression of HMGB1 through P38MAPK signaling pathway.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the long-term clinical effects of modified double Endobutton technique for the treatment of acromioclavicular joint dislocations of Tossy type III.

METHODSA retrospective study was done in 42 patients with acromioclavicular joint dislocations of Tossy type III treated with modified double Endobutton technique from December 2008 to December 2010. There were 24 males and 18 females, ranging in age from 21 to 56 years old (averaged, 32.5 years old). All the patients were treated with open reduction, coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction using double Endobutton technique, and repair of acromioclavicular ligament. The Karlsson system was used to evaluate therapeutic effects. The distance from coracoid to clavicle was measured to evaluate reduction loss.

RESULTSAll the patients were followed up, and the duration ranged from 2.0 to 3.2 years (averaged,2.4 years). According to Karlsson system, 32 patients got an A degree and 10 patients got a B degree at three months post-operatively; 26 patients got an A degree and 16 patients got a B degree at the latest follow-up; 6 patients got an A degree at 3 months after operation lowered to B degree at the latest follow-up. The coracoid-clavicle distance increased from (26.91 +/- 0.91) mm at 3 months after operation to (27.41 +/- 1.10) mm at the latest follow-up. Te patients treated with over-reduction during operation or with heavy physical labour work after operation had obvious widened coracoid-clavicle distance. Bone absorption was found around the plate in most cases, mainly in the clavicular side.

CONCLUSIONTreatment for acromioclavicular joint dislocations of Tossy type III with modified double Endobutton technique has satisfactory early clinical results. But with time passing, loss of reduction and bone absorption around the plate could be observed, and clinical outcomes of some cases downgrade during the long-term follow-up.

Objective To explore the influence of feeding styles in early stage on children′s weight in different stages.Methods A complete record of 918 healthy infants was selected and then divided into 3 feeding groups:breast feeding, mixed feeding and artificial fee-ding, according to the way of feeding in the first 6 months after birth. AIM: To study p42/p44 mitogen - activated protein kinases ( MAPK ) signal transduction pathway effect on vascular endothelial growth factor ( VEGF ) expression induced by elevated glucose concentration in cultured human retinal pigment epithelium ( hRPE) .
METHODS:hRPE cells were cultured and divided into four groups:normal glucose group (NG) (5. 6mmol/L), high glucose group ( HG1:15mmol/L D-glucose, HG2:20mmol/L D - glucose, HG3:30mmol/L D - glucose ), PD98059 group: hRPE cells were treated by an efficient and selective inhibitor PD98059 (20μmol/L) of p42/p44MAPK signal transduction pathway and solvent dimethyl sulfoxide group ( DMSO group) . The expression of VEGF and pigment epithelium derived factor ( PEDF ) mRNA was detected by RT-PCR. VEGF protein expression in cultured hRPE supernatants was detected by enzyme-linked immumosorbent assay ( ELISA) .
RUSULTS: VEGF mRNA and protein expression induced by elevated glucose concentration increased significantly. VEGF mRNA and protein expression were restrained in PD98059 group. Ratio of ( VEGF/β-actine)/( PEDF/β - actine ) in PD98059 group decreased significantly compare with that in high glucose group.
CONCLUSION: p42/p44MAPK signal transduction pathway might play a part in VEGF expression induced by elevated glucose concentration in cultured hRPE cells.

Objective: To discuss the entry point of clinical pharmacists for providing pharmaceutical care in clinics. Methods:Clinical pharmacists participated in making drug treatment regimen for one child with nephritic type NS combined with hypertension,and provide pharmaceutical care and medical education for the patient. Results: According to the situation of the patient, the treatment regimen was made out, evaluated and adjusted, and ADR was dealt with in time, therefore, the individualized treatment showed obvious effect, and the child was discharged with an improved condition. Conclusion: Clinical pharmacists can participate in clinical treatment with pharmaceutical professional knowledge to ensure safer and more effective drug use in child patients.

Clinical practice teaching is the deepening and continuity of school education , which is an important part of medical education. This paper aims to analyze the current situation and problems as to the teaching management during clinical training of full-time clinical major students, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures . The clinical practice teaching management and the clinical intern training quality can be significantly improved by establishing normative practice teaching management sys-tem, innovating teaching management mechanism, and correct treatment of the contradiction between clin-ical practice, employment and taking part in the entrance exams for postgraduate schools.
