BACKGROUND:Presently,studies on changes in muscle electrophysiology data during tennis training by electromyography are few. OBJECTIVE:To record muscle straining rule when serving a tennis by electromyography,and to analyze the active state of muscle from main joints. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:Tracing analysis of serving tennis on the spot by electromyography. The experiment was performed at the Peking Sport University from December 1986 to December 1988. PARTICIPANTS:Six national male tennis athletes aged(20.8?2.5) years,with the height of(180.3?4.8) cm and weighing(69.1 ?5.8) kg,training duration(6.6?2.9) years. METHODS:Tennis serve was traced by electromyography and joint angle analysator. Straining sequence and condition of muscle was analyzed with a specialized software. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Analysis of serving;muscle active sequence;Muscle straining time and joint angle;Muscle straining power. RESULTS:In the process of hitting the tennis serve,the deltoid and trapezius muscles of the first participation,and duration than other muscles are long and very large contribution to the force. Trapezius,tibia and gastrocnemius muscle were first involved in the movement of power and the duration of time than in other muscles. In the course of serving,muscle electromyography activity continued in accordance with the duration of order of pectoralis major,rectus abdominis,latissimus dorsi,gastrocnemius,oblique externus abdominis muscle,and rectus femoris muscle,biceps brachii,tibial muscle,brachial radial muscle,trapezius,deltoid muscle,in which deltoid muscle and ramps side muscle lasted the longest time in electromyography activity. The pectoralis major and rectus abdominis continued shortest time in electromyography activity. Because different athletes and different muscle,electromyography integral value is not the same,and corresponding muscle strength is also different,and there is a big difference in muscle accounting for the largest proportion of muscle strength. CONCLUSION:Surface electromyography tests can be applied to tennis action technical process of the scientific and rational judgement analysis.

Objective To investigate the prognosis of isolated fetal pyelectasis detected by ultrasound.Methods A total of 109 cases of isolated fetal pyelectasis (renal pelvis anteroposterior diameter ≥ 5 mm by ultrasound screening at any gestational age without structural or chromosome abnormalities) detected by prenatal ultrasound screening from March 2004 to July 2014 in Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University,were delivered and followed up until neonatal period on chromosome examination,prenatal B ultrasound and outcome of neonates.Receiver operating characteristics curves were plotted and used to predict the optimal critical point of poor prognosis and the warning point of follow-up.Results Among the 109 cases,83 cases tended to have a natural recovery during pregnancy,71 of them had normal renal pelvis.Two of the neonates died,9 cases needed surgical treatment,and 98 cases had normal renal pelvis or need follow-up only.The area under the receiver operating characteristics curves was 0.860 (95％CI:0.860± 1.96 × 0.112).The optimal critical point of poor prognosis was determined at ≥ 11 mm in anteroposterior diameter with sensitivity 81.8％,and specificity 83.7％,and the warning point of prenatal follow-up was at ≥ 7 mm in anteroposterior diameter with sensitivity 100.0％ and specificity 50.0％.Conclusions The prognosis of isolated fetal pyelectasis is mostly good.The fetus with pyelectasis thicker than 7 mm should be followed-up closely during prenatal and neonatal period,and the fetus with pyelectasis thicker than 11 mm is likely to have poor prognosis in neonatal period.

Objective To evaluate the effect of continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)-induced expression of inflammatory factors in pig kidney.Methods Twenty-four adult pigs of either sex,weighing 25-32 kg,were randomly divided into 4 groups (n =6 each) using a? random number table:control group (group C),sham operation group (group S),ECMO group and CRRT group.Anesthesia was induced with ketamine,diazepam and atropine and maintained with ketamine and diazepam.The pigs were tracheotomized,intubated and mechanically ventilated.The left femoral arteries were cannulated for MAP monitoring.Heparin 150 U/kg was injected intravenously.Right femoral artery and left internal jugular vein were cannulated for blood-letting and fluid infusion.In ECMO and CRRT groups,ECMO was performed for 24 h starting from 1 h after cannulation,in addition CRRT was performed for 24 h simultaneously in ECMO group.The pigs were then sacrificed and kidney specimens were obtained for determination of the content of interleukin-1β (IL-1 β),IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) by ELISA.Results There was no significant differ-ence in the content of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α between C and S groups (P ＞ 0.05).Compared with C and S groups,the content of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α was significantly increased in E and CRRT groups (P ＜ 0.01).Compared with group E,the content of IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α was significantly decreased in group CRRT (P ＜0.01).Conclusion CRRT can decrease ECMO-induced expression of inflammatory factors in pig kidney to some extent,indicating that it can alleviate the inflammatory responses in kidney.

Objective To construct recombinant adenoviral vector expressing autocatalysis caspase- 3 driven by human telomerase reverse transcriptase promoter amplified by two-step transcription amplification (hTERTp-TSTA),and investigate its antitumor effect in ovarian cancer iri vitro and in vivo.Methods Recombinant adenoviruses expressing autocatalytic caspase-3(rev-caspase-3)driven by hTERTp-TSTA were prepared,which were named as AdHTVP2G5-rev-casp3.AdHT-rev-casp3,Ad-rev-casp3 and AdHTVP2G5- EGEP,which express rev-easpase-3 driven by hTERTp,cytomegalovirus promoter(CMVp)and enhanced green fluorescent protein(EGFP),respectively,were used as controls.Western blot,cell counting kit (CCK-8),flow cytometry(FCM)and TdT-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling(TUNEL)were used to detect the expression of p17,active subunit of caspase-3,and p85,and to measure cell survival rates, apoptotic rates and cell cycle distribution in ovarian cell line AO and normal human umbilical vein endothelial cell line HUVEC,following treatments of AdHTVP2G5-rev-casp3.subcutaneous tumor models and abdominally spread tumor models of human ovarian carcinoma using AO cells in BALB/e nude mice were established.Following treatments of AdHTVP2G5-rev-easp3,western blot was used to detect the expression of active caspase-3 in abdominally spread tumors and liver tissues,respectively,and the mouse survival rates and the volume of tumor nodules were measured,and the serum level of alanine transaminase (ALT)and aspartate transaminase(AST)were analyzed to monitor liver damages and HE staining was used to detect the histopathological changes of various organs.Results The levels of p17 expression in AdHTVP2G5-rev-casp3-treated AO cells were significantly higher than that in Ad-rev-casp3 or AdHT-rev- casp3 treated AO cells,while no expression was observed in AdHTVP2G5-rev-casp3-treated HUVEC.There was strong cell killing of AdHTVP2G5-rev-casp3 of hTERT positive AO cells,but not of the hTERT-negative HUVEC cells.Cell survival rate and apoptotic rate of AO cells treated with AdHTVP2G5-rev-casp3 were 17.8% and 40.2%,respectively,significantly different from that treated with AdHT-rev-casp3(75.2% and 16.1%)at the multiplicity of infection(MOI)of 70(P0.05) .Significant expressions of active caspase-3 were shown in AdHTVP2G5-rev-casp3-treated tumors,whereas no expression was shown in liver.In contrast,both tumors and liver tissues showed active caspase-3 expression following treatments of Ad-rev-casp3.AdHTVP2G5-rev-casp3 and Ad-rev-casp3 prolonged mouse survival[mean survival time of(259?14)d and(213?16)d],when compared with treatment with AdHT- rev-casp3[(177?12)d]and AdHTVP2G5-EGFP[(109?7)d;P

Objective To investigate the influence of molecular targeted therapy (thalidomide,lenalidomide or bortezomib) on survival and curative effect of patients with multiple myeloma (MM).Methods The treatment of 217 patients diagnosised as MM from 1998 to 2013 were reviewed.The survival of patients who were diagnosed during different periods were compared,and the impact of improved treatment on the survival and curative effect of patients were analyzed.Results Patients who were recently diagnosed as MM after 1998 had better survival.75 patients with targeted therapy (thalidomide or bortezomib) for their early treatment had better survival compared to the patients with conventional treatments of MP/VAD.49 patients with targeted therapy after relapse or progression had a better curative effect than those with conventional treatments.16 patients had auto-ASCT or allo-SCT,and 4 of them had both auto-ASCT and allo-SCT,who had better survival than patients without transplantation.Conclusion Patients treated with molecular targeted therapy (thalidomide,lenalidomide,bortezomib) had a better curative effect and longer survival.

Objective To investigate the effects of lipopolysaccharide(LPS) on Src-suppressed C Kinase Substrate(SSeCKS) in cultured astrocytes. Methods Purified astrocytes were randomly divided into three groups:control group,singly stressed and multiple stressed groups.The expression of SSeCKS was detected by Real time RT-PCR and Western blotting,while immunocytochemistry was used to investigate the subcellular localization of it. Results Real time RT-PCR indicated that,after 12 hours incubation,both 100 ?g/L and 1mg/L LPS were able to elevate the levels of SSeCKS mRNA compared with control group,while 1mg/L LPS did not have a stronger effect than 100 ?g/L.Western blotting analysis showed 100 ?g/L LPS significantly increased the expression of SSeCKS.In time response experiments,the levels of SSeCKS expression enhanced three hours after the stimulation,peaked at the sixth hour,coincident with its rapid phosphorylation,and remained high until the 24th hour.Immunocytochemistry suggested a perinuclear translocation of SSeCKS,while the PKC inhibitor RO-31-8220 blocked it.Conclusion In cultured astrocytes,LPS can enhance the expression of SSeCKS,increase its phosphorylation level and change its subcellular localization.These effects are correlated with the PKC pathway,which indicates SSeCKS might participate in the signal transduction of inflammation in cultured astrocytes.

Based on the software of traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system (TCMISS), this article aims to analyze the experience and composition rules for cough from the descendant of Meng He Medical School, Xu Di-hua. The cough cases treated by Xu Di-hua were collected, and recorded into TCMISS (V2.0). Data mining methods such as Apriori algorithm and complex system entropy cluster were used to analyze the medication principles of Xu Di-hua for cough from pathogenesis and therapeutie aspects, and dig out the frequency of the herbs in prescription, core medicine and new combinations. The experience of curing cough from Professor Xu Di-hua were well found in the research. He is good at choosing prescriptions accurately, and pays attention to simultaneous use of cold and moisture drugs with combination of tonification and purgation. He is skilled in adding or reducing materia medica flexibly, as well as regulating lung to relieve cough and eliminating phlegm by clearing heat.

Objective To observe the change of brain iron content in deep gray nucleus using susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) in patients with Parkinson's diseases (PD). Methods The SWI examination was performed in 40 PD patients (10 patients with Hoehn-Yahr stage Ⅰ , 9 patients with Hoehn-Yahr stage Ⅱ , 9 patients with Hoehn Yahr stage Ⅲ , 6 patients with Hoehn-Yahr stage Ⅳ, 6 ptients with Hoehn Yahr stage Ⅴ ) and 33 gender- and age- matched controls, after conventional brain magnetic resonance imaging examination on a 3.0T magnetic resonance imaging.The signal values of substantia nigra zona compacta (SNc), substantia nigra zona reticulate (SNr),red nucleus (RN), putamen (Pu), globus pallidus (GP) and caudate nucleus (CN) were assessed.Results Compared with the controls, the PD patients had statistically significance of signal value differences of SNc (P=0.002), SNr (P=0.043). RN (P= 0.003), Pu (P=0.023). GP (P=0.001) andCN (P=0.033). The more significant differences of SNc(P=0.001), SNr (P=0.010),RN (P＜0. 001 ), Pu (P=0. 008), GP (P＜0. 001) and CN (P=0. 011) were observed between more severe PD lesion and control. The signal values of SNc and GP showed obviously negative correlations with Hoehn-Yahr grading (SNcr=-0.943. P＜0.001; GPr=-0.923, P＜0.001). But there was weakly correlation of the signal values of SNr, RN, Pu, CN with Hoehn Yahr grading (SNr r=0. 496. P=0.001; RN r=-0. 480. P=0.002; Pu r=-0. 494, P=0.001; CN r=-0.471, P=0.002) Conclusions Measurement of the brain iron content of SNc and GP using SWI on MRI is a reliable means of diagnosing PD, and it has significant correlation with Hoehn-Yahr grading, It could evaluate the severity of PD.

BACKGROUND:Mesenchymal stem cel s are the seed cel s for tendon tissue engineering which can be obtained in large quantities, but how to induce in vitro is a key technology.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of platelet-rich plasma on the proliferation and col agen production of in vitro cultured mesenchymal stem cel s.
METHODS:The rabbit mesenchymal stem cel s were separated ad cultured. The high-dose platelet-rich plasma group, middle-dose platelet-rich plasma group and low-dose platelet-rich plasma group were set to induce the mesenchymal stem cel s, and the blank control group was set as control.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The proliferation of mesenchymal stem cel s in the high-dose platelet-rich plasma group, middle-dose platelet-rich plasma group and low-dose platelet-rich plasma group was high, and in rapid growth with big increase amplitude, and there was no significant difference in the proliferation when compared with the blank control group (P<0.05). The effect was positively correlated with the culture time, and after cultured for a certain time, the effect was in dose-dependent manner, as higher dose platelet-rich plasma had more significant effect on the proliferation of the cel s. The results indicate that platelet-rich plasma can significantly promote the synthesis of col agen type Ⅰ and Ⅲ of mesenchymal stem cel s, the higher the dose, the more significant the effect on the col agen.
