China Medical Equipment 2013;(9):6-8,9
Objective: High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is classified as the third category medical instruments, which means it require much more attention on its safety to patient. Methods: To achieve this goal, a safety monitor system was applied on “High Intensity Focused Ultrasound therapeutic equipment for Shallow tissue”. To design parallel port-based safety monitor method for high intensity focused ultrasound therapeutic system and make the bidirectional data flow. Results: By using parallel computation of FPGA, the safety monitor independently monitor several modules of the “Ultrasound therapeutic equipment”, and handles mal-function. A new EPP-Parallel port basic intelligent watchdog was introducing to monitor PC working state. Conclusion: The safety monitor system enhances the safety and reliability of the equipment, and provides helpful information for malfunction diagnose.
2.Progress and Insight of miRNA on Hepatocellular Carcinoma

China Biotechnology 2006;0(12):-
MicroRNAs(miRNAs) are endogenous non-coding RNAs,about 20 nucleotides in length.They play a pivotal role in the regulation of genes involved in diverse biology processes such as cell development,proliferation,differentiation and apoptosis by the translation repression or mRNA degradation.Recent evidence has suggested that miRNA alterations are involved in the initiation and progression of various human cancer including hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),and miRNA-expression profiling of HCC has identified signatures associated with diagnosis,staging,progression and prognosis.As a novel molecular target,miRNAs holds great promise in diagnosis and biotherapy of HCC.
3.Circulating RNA and miRNA in Blood:Potential Applications as Tumor Markers
Peng QI ; Chun-Fang GAO ;
China Biotechnology 2006;0(11):-
Circulating nucleic acids (CNAs) are extracellular nucleic acids found in cell-free serum,plasma and other body fluids from healthy subjects as well as in patients. The ability to detect and quantitate specific DNA and RNA sequences has opened up the possibility of diagnosis and monitoring of diseases,especially in the field of cancer. Furthermore,in some recent studies it has been suggested a kind of non-coding RNA-microRNA (miRNA),also exist in cell-free serum and plasma,highlighting the field of using CNAs to diagnose cancer. As a novel tumor marker,tumor-specific circulating miRNAs holds great promise in early diagnosis of cancer.
4. Phenolic constituents from twigs of Acer rubrum and their anti-oxidation and anti-α-glucosidase activities
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(11):1391-1396
Objective: To isolate and identify the phenolic constituents with anti-oxidant and anti-α-glucosidase activities from the methanol extract in the twigs of Acer rubrum. Methods: The twigs of A. rubrum were extracted by methanol then partitioned by system solvents with different polarity. The ethyl acetate extract was separated on silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, ODS columns, and by semi-preparative HPLC. The isolated compounds were identified by physicochemical properties and spectral analyses. The DPPH free radical scavenging and anti-α-glucosidase activities of the compounds were also evaluated. Results: Ten phenolic compounds were isolated and purified from the twigs of A. rubrum and were identified as catechin (1), epicatechin (2), epicatechin-3-O-gallate (3), quercetin-3-O-α-L-rhamnoside (4), quercetin-3-O-3″-galloyl-rhamnoside (5), quercetin-3-O-2″-galloyl-rhamnoside (6), phloridzin (7), ginnalin A (8), ginnalin B (9), and ginnalin C (10). Conclusion: Compounds 3 and 5-7 are isolated from the twigs of A. rubrum for the first time. Compound 7 is the only one chalcone isolated from the plants in Aceraceae for the first time. All of the compounds show the good anti-oxidant activities. Compounds 3 and 8 show the strong anti-α-glucosidase activities.

National Journal of Andrology 2014;20(8):738-742
Prostate cancer is a common malignancy that affects men's health in the Western countries. Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), as the third generation of genetic markers, can influence the development, progression, and prognosis of prostate cancer. The same SNP may be related differently with prostate cancer among different races. This paper describes the relationship between SNPs and prostate cancer according to their related genes. SNPs can predict the risk of prostate cancer as well as the possible adverse reactions in its treatment, but at present they do have some limitations.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(02):-
Objective To compare the efficacy of patient-controlled epidural analgesia(PCEA) and routine analgesia on treatment of bleeding in patients prostate pit after prostatectomy.Methods 82 patients underwent prostatectomy were randomly divided into two groups:patient-controlled epidual analgesia(n=40) and routine postoperative analgesia (n=42).Results As compared with control group,the rate and duration of bladder spasm were reduced significantly in PCEA group(P
9. Effects of essential oil from Cinnamomum Cassia on Clostridia flora IV and Bacteroides in gut of rats
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 2013;44(4):437-442
Objective: To investigate the impact of essential oil (cinnamon oil) from Cinnamomum cassia (EOCC) on Clostridia flora IV and Bacteroides in gut of normal rats. Methods: SD rats were administered with EOCC (0.384 3 g/kg) for 30 d and the colon and rectal contents were sampled. The population, diversity, and distribution of Clostridium flora IV and Bacteroides in the samples were analyzed by the terminal restriction fragment length polymorphism (TRFLP) method based on the intestinal flora 16S ribosomal RNA gene. Results: Both the intestinal flora population, diversity, and distribution of Clostridia flora IV and Bacteroides changed significantly due to the injection, especially for Clostridia flora IV. Additionally, EOCC exerted the different effects on colon and rectal microflora. Conclusion: The effects of EOCC on Clostridia flora IV and Bacteroides in gut might be the functional mechanism of cinnamon oil in curing obesity and diabetes.
