1.Thoughts on construction of information network of new hospital

The goal of hospital information system construction is to establish a comprehensive,safe and stable information network.A new or relocated hospital is redesigned and has overall layout,which facilitates achieving the objective of information system construction.The authors introduce the architecture and construction of information network in the process of hospitaI relocation.The important points of information coverage at different functional areas are determined,including the key business area,non-key business area,server area,radiological area,and other functional areas,which may improve the effectiveness of the investment.At the same time,the possibility of large area information system paralysis due to network fault is minimized to ensure the security of information system.

Thanks to the communication between hospital information systems and the mobile phone system,the doctor in charge can contact his/her patient by mobile phone.This creates an early warning mechanism for critical results of laboratory tests such as clinical laboratory,radiological,ultrasound and ECC tests,in which the doctor in charge can be advised immediately of any critical results found in laboratory tests by SMS.This mechanism enables clinicians to acquire critical information,identify medical risks and minimize medical errors.
3.Establishment of an electronic medical records system and integration of clinical data

This paper introduces the implementation of an electronic medical records system and the integration of clinical data in our hospital. The electronic medical records system is grounded on XML based electronic inpatient records and focused on information of patient treatment, which has integrated information of prescriptions , outpatient visits, PACS, medical examination technologies, laboratories, nursing records, reports of infectious diseases and hospital infections, licenses for antibiotics and pharmaceutical repositories, and the clinical data with electronic medical records as the carrier. This system has provided physicians with effective tools for diverse paperless medical records and favorable conditions for diagnosis and treatment, it has improved the work efficiency of physicians, optimized hospital process, minimized errors and improved quality of medical treatment. With the development of real-time quality control of medical records, we have improved efficiency and quality of hospital management.
4.Antibacterial Drugs Utilization Information System: Its Establishment and Application

OBJECTIVE Based on hospital information system operation platform,the antibacterial drugs utilization and control information system was designed to share prescriptions for antibacterial drugs and results for bacteria culture and drug sensitivity,to analyze pathogen composition and drug resistance trend,and supervise physicians to utilize antibacterial drugs properly. METHODS Adopting C/S framework,the backstage supporter adopted the large-scale database of SQL SERVER 2000 enterprises edition,the front application program used PowerBuilder7 programming.Antibacterial drugs utilization software was integrated into resident physician's working stations.Antibacterial drugs utilization control software was installed into working stations for department of nosocomial infection. RESULTS The application of the information system strengthened control of antibacterial drugs utilization and could guide physicians to utilize antibacterial drugs properly. CONCLUSIONS Antibacterial drugs utilization and control information system could reinforce management of antibacterial drugs utilization,and facilitate to utilize antibacterial drugs properly and safely.
5.Nosocomial Infection Early Warning Information System: Its Establishment and Application

OBJECTIVE Based on hospital information system operating platform,the Nosocomial Infection Early Warning Information System is designed to study nosocomial infection concerning its risk factors,occurrence pattern,and control measures so that the epidemic of nosocomial infection could be early found and controlled effectively,the capability of nosocomial infection supervision could be steadily increased.METHODS Adopting C/S framework,the backstage supporter adopted the large-scale database of SQL SERVER 2000 enterprises edition,the front application program used PowerBuilder7 programming.To structure a reporting,early warning,and supervising network,nosocomial infection reporting card software was integrated into resident physician′s working stations,and early warning control software was installed into working stations for department of nosocomial infection.RESULTS The application of the information system could early warn and supervise occurring nosocomial infection cases,help to find the epidemic of nosocomial infection in time and take effectively control measures as soon as possible.CONCLUSIONS Nosocomial Infection Early Warning Information System could early warn and control nosocomial infection on-the-spot,increase efficiency of nosocomial infection management and improve quality of care.
6.To Set Up and Apply Hospital Monitoring Platform for Infectious Disease

OBJECTIVE To set up the infectious disease monitoring platform upon the hospital information system(HIS).In order to study the infectious disease′s early discovery,early reporting,early therapy and early control,to improve the hospital′s capability of prevention and cure of the infectious disease,generally improving the medical treatment quality.METHODS The computer technic was used to auto-collect,save,process the patient′s information.RESULTS To realize the information be shared;play a role in real time effective monitor;to provide the basic information of medical treatment,scientific research,education and management.CONCLUSIONS Realizing the scientific,standardized,systematized management of hospital infectious disease is becoming an important part in the whole HIS as the hospital medical treatment control system.
7.Effect of casting back the whole life cycle of medication orders on the nurse work

Objective To evaluate the effect of casting back the whole life cycle of medication orders on the nurse work .Methods Sixty-two nurses were surveyed by the self-designed questionnaire .The standard of casting back medication orders was carried out through the design of the module for casting back medication orders based on the information of nurse workstation and the check of Itouch bar code .The time of carrying out the medication orders and the medication safety were compared before and after the implementation . Results After the implementation , the time of carrying out the doctor ’ s advice for every bed on daily decreased from (4.36 ±1.28)min to (0.97 ±0.34)min, and the difference was statistically significant (t=20.181,P<0.01).The error rate of carrying out the doctor ’ s advice for every thousand beds on daily decreased from 0.74‰to 0.15‰, and the error rate of medication decreased from 1.33‰ to 0.35‰, and leakage rate of medication decreased from 1.24‰to 0.06‰, and the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =13.548, 19.073, 36.347, respectively; P<0.05).Conclusions Implementation of the management of casting back the whole life cycle of medication orders can improve the work efficiency , and decrease the occurrence of nursing defects, and ensure the safety of patients .
8.Production and clinical application of 3D printing models of intracranial aneurysms

Objective As the intracranial aneurysm diagnosed by digital subtraction angiography (DSA) examination,the patient's cerebral vessels models of intracranial aneurysms were built by 3D Printer.According to the models,the size,shape,orientation of the aneurysms,as well as the relationship between the parent artery and the branch vessels were analyzed to provide reference for craniotomy.Methods The 11 patients with intracranial aneurysms diagnosed by DSA were prospectively selected in this study from May 1,2016 to June 30,2016.The DSA data of the patients were output in DICOM format,after format conversion and three-dimensional reconstruction by MIMICS software,the selected target regions were modeled by 3D printers in different proportions (1∶1 and 1∶3).Results The cerebral vascular 3D printing models could reflect the shape,size and distribution of the cerebral vascular and orientation of the intracranial aneurysms.It could also show the relationship between the aneurysm and parent arteries along with vascular branches.It was showed that the original size and different amplified model could provide reference for the aneurysm clipping surgery.Conclusion The 3D printing technology can be used into the production of human cerebral vascular models,which can provide a physical model for diagnosis and treatment of intracranial aneurysms,and it can also provide useful reference for preoperative and intraoperative aneurysm clip selection and clamping method decision during the aneurysm clip surgery.
