Objective:To explore the relationship among emotional intelligence, narrative competence, and clinical communication competence of undergraduate nursing students. Methods:From March to April 2022, 211 undergraduate nursing students from two affiliated hospitals of universities in Dalian were selected as the research subject by convenience sampling. The survey was conducted using the General Information Questionnaire, Emotional Self-Awareness Questionnaire (ESQ), Narrative Competence Scale (NCS), and Clinical Communication Competence Scale of the Nursing Students. SPSS 25.0 software and Process 3.1 plugin were used for mediating effect testing. Multiple linear stratified regression analysis was used to test the moderating effects. Results:A total of 211 questionnaires were distributed and 207 valid questionnaires were obtained. Among 207 undergraduate nursing students, the scores of the ESQ, NCS, and Clinical Communication Competence Scale of the Nursing Students were (124.18±13.22), (140.38±18.70), and (82.88±10.43), respectively. The emotional intelligence, narrative competence, and clinical communication competence of undergraduate nursing students were positively correlated ( P<0.05). The narrative competence of undergraduate nursing students played a complete mediating effect between emotional intelligence and clinical communication competence, with the mediating effect accounting for 72.5% of the total effect. The narrative competence of undergraduate nursing students had a moderating effect on emotional intelligence and clinical communication competence ( P<0.01) . Conclusions:The narrative competence of undergraduate nursing students is a mediating and moderating variable between emotional intelligence and clinical communication competence. Nursing educators should develop targeted interventions to improve students' narrative competence and thus enhance their clinical communication competence.

As the largest cancer in the world, breast cancer has both benefits and risks from its diversified treatments. Shared decision-making can respect the patient's right to information and autonomy, consider their preferences and value orientations, and help patients obtain the most suitable treatment plan, it also can reduce their decision-making difficulties and improve their disease knowledge awareness and decision-making satisfaction. This paper reviews the definition of shared decision-making, the influencing factors, steps, tools and clinical effects of shared decision-making in the treatment decision-making of breast cancer patients, in order to provide reference for the research of shared decision-making in breast cancer patients in China.

Objective This study aimed to investigate the therapeutic efficacy of Sanjie Quban recipe in a keloid nude mice model and its impact on transforming growth factor-β 1(TGF-β1).Methods Keloid tissue after surgical resection was subcutaneously transplanted into the backs of healthy SPF BALB/C female nude mice, aged 6~8 weeks, and a keloid nude mice model was thus established. The mice were randomly divided into three groups, the Sanjie Quban recipe group, the Asiaticoside tablet group and the control gnup, with five in each group. They were respectively treated with Sanjie Quban recipe,Asiaticoside tablets,or sterile pure water. After 28 days of continuous gavage, the keloid tissue was exfoliated and weighed, and HE staining,Masson staining, and immunohistochemical staining for TGF-β1 were conducted.Differences in keloid weight between the three groups before and after treatment were compared,as were the differences in collagen fiber, fibroblast numbers, and TGF-β1 expression between the three groups after treatment. Results The difference in keloid weight before and after treatment in the Asiaticoside tablet group was greater than that of the control group, and the weight difference before and after treatment keloid treatment was the largest in the Sanjie Quban recipe group(P<0.01).Compared with the control group, collagen fibers in the Sanjie Quban recipe group were looser and less numerous, and fibroblasts were decreased in number. The expression of TGF-β1 in the Sanjie Quban recipe group was decreased compared with that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusions Sanjie Quban recipe has certain therapeutic effects on keloids. The mechanism may involve reducing the expression of TGF-βl in keloid tissue and thereby reducing the proliferation of fibroblasts and the synthesis of extracellular matrix. This study provides experimental and theoretical bases for the clinical treatment of keloids with Chinese medicine.

Objective To evaluate the muscle mass in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients and analyze the influential factors. Methods Ninety-seven patients on MHD and 34 healthy people were recruited.Muscle mass was measured by bioelectrical impedance analysis and compared.Patients'age, sex, height, body weight, walking activity, modified quantitative subjective global assessment (MQSGA) score and laboratory tests were recorded. The relationship of appendicular skeletal muscle mass/height2 (ASM/H2) and other factors were analyzed using multivariate linear regression. Results Compared with normal cohort, the MHD patients showed lower body fat rate and lower ASM/H2 (both P < 0.05).In 97 MHD patients,21.4% of male patients suffered from sarcopenia, and 24.4% of female patients suffered from sarcopenia.Patients were divided into two groups according to the level of ASM/H2 (male < 7.0 kg/m2,female < 5.8 kg/m2).The grip strength, serum creatinine,1,25(OH)2D and mid-arm muscle circumference in low ASM/H2 group were lower than those in normal ASM/H2 group, and the differences were significant (all P < 0.05).In multivariable regression model, male (β=0.534,P=0.003),1,25(OH)2D (β=0.582,P=0.024),creatinine (β=0.421,P=0.037),grip strength (β=0.681,P=0.001),and lg[NT-proBNP] (β=-1.760,P=0.042) were independently associated with ASM/H2 in MHD patients. Conclusion The prevalence of sarcopenia is much higher in MHD patients than in healthy people. The levels of grip strength,NT-proBNP,creatinine and 1,25(OH)2D are the important influential factors for muscle mass in MHD patients.

Closed-loop hospital management can effectivly cope with the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to ensure the continuity of treatments for hemodialysis patients under closed-loop management and minimize possible medical and infection risks, Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University and 9 hospitals in Shanghai established a hemodialysis alliance in January 2021.The alliance optimized hemodialysis resources within the region through overall planning by preparing sites, materials and personnel shifts in advance, and establishing management systems and work processes to ensure that patients could be quickly and orderly diverted to other blood dialysis centers for uninterrupted high-quality hemodialysis services, in case that some hemodialysis centers in the alliance under closed-loop management. From November 2021 to April 2022, 317 of 1 459 hemodialysis patients in the alliance were diverted to other centers for treatment, accumulating 1 215 times/cases of treatments without obvious adverse reactions. The practice could provide a reference for medical institutions to quickly establish mutual support mode under major public health events.
