1.Investigation and Analysis of Knowledge and Cognition of ADR by Medical Students
Chinese Journal of Pharmacoepidemiology 2007;0(02):-
Objective:To investigate the present condition of the knowledge and recognition of ADR by medical students to provide reference and information for the college teaching reform.Method:98 questionaries from sophomores majoring in medicine in our college were investigated and analyzed.Result:The condition of the students majoring in medicine cognition for ADR was good, but there were some problems. Conclusion:By the careful analysis, some good points have been summed up,some disadvantages in teaching have been found and last, some advices have been brought forward in order for the medial students to work better in their future medical jobs.

Objective:To establish the content determination method for astragaloside in Bushen Wenfei mixtures by HPLC-ELSD. Methods:HPLCwithanAgilentZORBAXC18(150mm×4.6mm,5μm)columnwasused. Methanol-water(75∶25)wasusedasthe mobile phase and the flow rate was 0. 8 ml·min-1 . The drift tube temperature was 80℃ and the gas flow rate was 2. 5 ml·min-1 . Results: The linear range of astragaloside was 0.297-4.944 μg (r =0.999 7). The average recovery was 98.13% with RSD of 1. 27%(n=9). Conclusion:The method is with sufficient accuracy, stability and repeatability, and can be used in determination of Bushen Wenfei mixtures.

Objective:To explore the protective effect of the water-soluble total flavonoids from Isodon lophanthoides var.gerardia-nus (Benth.) H.Hara on LO2 cells damage. Methods:The cytotoxicity was evaluated by MTT cell viability determination to confirm the concentration range .Hepatocyte damage model was established by H 2 O2 treatment. After the oxidative stress hepatocyte was coin-cubated with WSTF at different concentrations for various times , the protective effect of WSTF on H 2 O2-induced hepatocyte damage was evaluated by MTT cell viability determination and the content determination of ALT , AST and MDA in cell supernatant .The inhibition of WSTF against H 2 O2-induced LO2 cells apoptosis was evaluated by the quantitative determination of Rhodamine 123 fluorescence and intracellular ROS.Results:The LO2 cells injured by 0.3 mmol· L-1 H2 O2 treatment for 4 h were used as the hepatocyte damage model. The concentration range of WSTF was 0.0312-0.125 mg· ml-1.WSTF could inhibit H2O2-induced injury in LO2 cells and obviously reduce ALT, AST and MDA.Moreover, WSTF could reverse mitochondrial membrane potential depolarization and decrease the amount of intracellular ROS .Conclusion:WSTF exhibits notable protective and curative effects on hepatocyte damage in vitro.

Objective To analyze the expression of interleukin 16 (IL-16) in atherosclerosis (AS) patients, and to study the roles of IL-16in the pathogenesis of AS.Methods Thirty AS patients in Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical College from August 2015to August 2016were randomly selected as the case group and twenty-nine healthy subjects were selected as the healthy control group.Peripheral blood of the subjects were collected.IL-16levels were determined with enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction was applied to analyze IL-16mRNA level.IL-16expression in the atherosclerotic plaque samples was detected with immunohistochemical analysis.IL-16expression in aortic atherosclerotic plaque of AS patients and atherosclerotic ApoE-/-mice were analyzed by immunohistochemical staining. The aortic plaque changes of AS mice injected intraperitoneally with recombinant IL-16were detected. Results Both IL-16protein levels and IL-16mRNA levels were higher in case group than those of healthy control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The IL-16mRNA was highly expressed in the atherosclerotic plaque. The aortic plaque area of the mice underwent IL-16intraperitoneal injection were decreased while the plaque stability increased. Conclusion IL-16levels elevated in both AS patients and AS mice, which suggested that IL-16might play aprotective role against AS.
