Microbiology 1992;0(05):-
The composition of volatile compounds of soils and that of soil bacterial metabolites were identified by using the SPME-GC/MS method. Results showed that some compounds, trimethylamine, 3-methyl-2-pentanoe, dimethyl disulfide, methyl pyrazine, 2,5-dimethyl-pyrazine, benzaldehyde, N,N-dimethyloctylamine and nonadecane, subsisted commonly in soils and soil bacterial metabolites with strong fungistatic activity. These compounds may be the key antifungal factors in soil fungistasis, especially soil volatile fungistasis. Otherwise, the method used in this study was a good tool for further study of soil volatle fungistasis.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2016;32(1):35-39
OBJECTIVE:
To compare pattern-pulse multifocal visual evoked potential (PPmfVEP) with pattern-reversal multifocal visual evoked potential (PRmfVEP), and to investigate the symmetry of mfVEP between both eyes in normal individuals.
METHODS:
The multifocal Vision Monitor was used to observe the mfVEP. T-test and ANOVA were used to analyze P1 wave, amplitude and signal noise ratios (SNR) of two mfVEPs.
RESULTS:
The SNR and the P1 amplitude reached the maximum at the central visual field and decreased with the increase of eccentricity, and then decreased slowly. The amplitude of the PPmfVEP was significantly smaller than the PRmfVEP in the central retina, while in the peripheral retina the result was exactly the opposite. SNR and amplitude of the PRmfVEP showed no statistical difference in both eyes (P > 0.05). The variance of the amplitude at the same side of visual field was larger than that at the symmetrical visual quadrant.
CONCLUSION
mfVEP can reflect the visual function in different parts of retina objectively and exactly. PPmfVEP reflect the vision function of the central retina better than PRmfVEP. The stability of PPmfVEP is better than PRmfVEP in the central retina, while the result is opposite in the peripheral retina. The mfVEP is symmetrical in both eyes of the same individual.

Objective To analyze the perioperative clinical character of the severe neurological complications in intracranial aneurism treated with stent-assisted coiling(SAC). Methods 203 cases of intracranial aneurysms patients treated by SAC were enrolled retrospectively(ruptured aneurysm group 45 cases and un-ruptured,aneurysm group 158 cases)and the perioperative clinical character of the serious neurological complications(11 cases)was further analyzed. Results The total rate of serious neurological complication was 5. 4%,11 cases of patients with 13 aneurysms got 13 stents. In the ruptured aneurysm group, 5 cases(11. 1%)suffered severe neurological complications, including intraoperative bleeding in one case, postoperative stent-related ischemia in one case, both 2. 2% . Postoperative bleeding 2 cases(4. 4%),and one case of bleeding during anesthesia induced stage(2. 2%). In the unruptured aneurysm group, intraoperative bleeding in three cases, and postoperative stent-related ischemia in three cases, both 1. 9% . No bleeding case during anesthesia induced stage or postoperative period. Although active rescue treatments were performed, 8 patients eventually died, and the total mortality rate was 3. 9% . Conclusion Intracranial aneurysms patients following SAC treatment may suffer from bleeding, ischemia, severe neurological complications, severe disability, and even die. So,we have to strengthen perioperative management.

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
The research status is reviewed on taxonomic position, ecology, biological active matter and artificial cultivation of Shiraia bambusicola. Following problems are presented: whether there are new species and host specificity of Shiraia bambusicola. Since the artificial cultivation of stroma of Shiraia bambusicola has not been success, Shiraia bambusicola is in situation of emerge of itself and perish of itself so that it is not beneficial to resource protection and continual utilization of this medicinal fungus. It is pointed out that molecular biology of Shiraia bambusicola should be further researched and technology of artificial cultivation of Shiraia bambusicola should be explored in order to exploit and usage of Shiraia bambusicola.

Aim The effect of tetrandrine on TGF-?1 mRNA expression in glomerulosclerosis rat was observed. Methods The rats were randomly divided into four groups, such as the normal control group (sham operative rat), glomerulosclerosis model group, tetrandrine group and amlodipine group. The expression of TGF-?1 mRNA was analyzed by Northern blot hybridization. Results The expressions of TGF-?1 mRNA in two treating groups were much lower than untreated model group. There were no difference between these two treating groups. Conclusion Tetrandrine can decrease the expression of TGF-?1 mRNA in glomerulosclerosis rat induced by unilateral renctomy plus adriamycin.

This meta-analysis aimed to comprehensively assess the efficacy and safety of hepatic resection combined with radiofrequency ablation versus hepatic resection (HR) alone for the treatment of multifocal hepatoeellular carcinomas (HCC).A literature search was conducted from the database including MEDLINE,Embase,Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL) and China Biology Medicine (CBM) disc. The primary outcomes included the 1-,3-,5-year overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) rate. The secondary outcomes contained the intraoperative parameters and postoperative adverse events (AEs).These parameters were all analyzed by RevMan 5.3 software. After carefully screening relevant studies, four retrospective studies of high quality involving 466 patients (197 in the combined group and 269 in the HR group) were included in this study. The pooled results showed that the 1-,3-,5-year OS rate in the combined group were comparable with those in the HR group (OR=0.77,0.96,0.88;P=0.33,0.88,0.70,respectively).Similarly,there was no significant difference in 1-,3-,5-year DFS rate between the combined group and the HR alone group (OR=0.57,0.83,0.72;P=0.17,0.37,0.32,respectively).And the intraoperative parameters and postoperative AEs were also comparable between the above two cohorts. However, two included studies reported that tumor often recurred in the ablation site in the combined group. The present meta-analysis indicated that the HR combined with RFA could reach a long-term survival outcome similar to curative HR for multifocal HCC patients. And this therapy may be a promising alternative for these patients with marginal liver function or complicated tumor distribution.Furthermore, high quality randomized controlled trials (RCTs) are imperative to verify this conclusion.
