1.Research on Legal Problems of the Transplantation by Taking Foetus as the Donor
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(12):-
Actually in China there has already been much clinical transplantation which takes foetus as the donor, however, there is no regulation or law to restrict it,which is not good for the overall development of national transplantation career. The text discusses the qualification of the transplantation by taking foetus as the donor and the conflicts in different relationships during the process of the transplantation, quotes the correlation of the American legislation and provides the necessity and principles of similar legislation in combination with national circumstances, expecting to give some references for national legislation on fetal tissue transplantation.

Objective:To study the efficacy comparison between the antibacterial catheter and common central venous catheter in ICU patients. Methods: The 110 ICU patients with central venous catheter were randomized into the control group (common central venous catheter)and the observation group (antibacterial catheter), 55 patients per group. The success rate of catheter, the averange catheter days, complications, and the incidence of catheter-related infection (CRI)and pathogen distribution in the two groups were observed and compared. Results: Compared with the control group, the success rate of catheter was significantly increased(100.0% vs 81.8%,x2=11.00,P<0.05), the averange catheter days were obviously reduced(12.5±3.0 vs 13.5±3.0,t=3.49,P<0.05)days, the incidences of complications (red and swelling in puncture site(3.6% vs 27.3%,x2=11.76,P<0.05), fluid in puncutre site (3.6% vs 21.8%,x2=8.18,P<0.05), catheter herniation(1.8% vs 20.0%,x2=9.35,P<0.05)were significantly decreased in the observation group with statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: The antibacterial catheter can significantly reduce the incidence of CRI for ICU patients and improve the security of central venous catheter.

Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(01):-
Objective To investigate the suppression effect of RNA interference(RNAi) on the expression of epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) of ovarian cancer SKOV3 cell line. Methods SKOV3 cells were transfected with synthetic EGFR sequence-specific dsRNA by lipofectamin 2000.The expression level of EGFR mRNA and protein were detected by RT-PCR and Western blotting, respectively. The proliferation of transfected SKOV3 cells was detected by WST-1 cell proliferation assay. The abilities of adhesion, migration and invasion were detected by cell adhesion assay, cell migration assay and Matrigel invasion assay, respectively. Results The suppression rates on EGFR mRNA and protein by sequence-specific dsRNA-EGFR were 73.65% and 58.94%,respectively.The cell proliferation was inhibited by 22.54%,35.76% and 31.07%,respectively at 24,48 and 72 h after transfection. The adhesion of sequence-specific dsRNA transfected SKOV3 cells for 30 min and 90 min were reduced by 12.11% and 18.66%,respectively.The migration and invasion of SKOV3 cells were decreased by 25.47% and 22.08%,respectively. Conclusion The down-regulation of EGFR expression of ovarian cancer by sequence-specific dsRNA can lead to the suppression of proliferation, adhesion, migration and invasion of ovarian cancer cells.

AIM:To study the changes of tear film and ocular surface after the coaxial incision 2.5mm and 3.0mm in the phacoemulsification.METHODS: Seventy patients (92 eyes) from February 2015 to February 2016 in our hospital were enrolled. The patients were randomly divided into two groups.Thirty-four patients (46 eyes) in Group A: coaxial 2.5mm incision phacoemulsification cataract extraction and intraocular lens(IOL) implantation.Thirty-six patients (46 eyes) in Group B: the conventional coaxial 3.0mm small incision phacoemulsification cataract extraction and IOL implantation. The break up time (BUT),Schirmer`s Ⅰ test (SⅠt) and lid-parallel conjunctival folds (LIPCOF) were assessed preoperatively and postoperatively.RESULTS: At 1wk,1 and 3mo postoperatively, the BUT in two groups decreased after operations, and the BUT of Group B was significantly lower than those of Group A,the differences were statistically significant (t=3.089,4.497,4.322;all P<0.05).The SⅠt in two groups increased after operations, the SⅠt of Group B was significantly higher than those of Group A and the differences were statistically significant (t=-6.286,-3.992,-3.278;all P<0.05).The LIPCOF score in two groups increased after operations, the LIPCOF score of Group B was significantly higher than those of Group A and the differences were statistically significant (t=-6.552,-5.131,-3.652;all P<0.05).At 6mo postoperatively, compared with the preoperative data, the BUT,SⅠt and LIPCOF score in Group A showed no statistically significant differences (t=0.646,0.551,0.165;P>0.05).The BUT,SⅠt and LIPCOF score in Group B showed statistically significant differences (t=-4.059,3.629,4.211;all P<0.05).CONCLUSION: Ocular surface has less damage and tear film has little influence at early stage after the coaxial 2.5mm incision phacoemulsmcation, compared with the conventional coaxial 3.0mm incision phacoemulsification surgery.

Journal of Interventional Radiology 1992;0(01):-
The goal of radiologic intervention in patients with membranous or segmental ob struction of inferior vena cava(Budd-Chiari Syndrome)is to relieve the major venous obstruction, control portal hypertension and prevent further hepatocellular damage until collateral hepatic venous outflow channels can develop.Percutaneous balloon angioplasty(PTA)was used to treat 15 patients with this syndrome who were followed up for an average of 30.57?13.57 months(range,8~48 months). In occlusion,PTA can be considered a safe and effective treatment at least patency of one hepatic vein. The therapy is not definitive, multiple treatment are required for the long-term care of the ptients who all hepatic vein are obliterated.

Chinese Journal of Neurology 2000;0(04):-
Objective To investigate relationship between utrophin and dystrophin in muscle of patients suffered from several neurological muscular diseases. Methods Muscle biopsies of 26 cases of patients suffered from 8 categories neurological muscular diseases and 2 cases of control were analysed for utrophin and dystrophin by immunofluorescence experiments. Results In a majority of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) patients, their sarcolemma revealed absent, weak or discontinuous fluorescence for dystrophin. In non-DMD muscular dystrophies, lipid storage myopathy, myotonic dystrophy, inflammatory myopathies, neurogenic amyotrophy, polymyositis, mitochondrial encephalomyopathy, myogenic amyotrophy, immunofluorescence reactivity for dystrophin were strongly exhibited in entire sarcolemma. In normal biopsy sample, strong immunofluorescence reactivity for dystrophin was identified in entire sarcolemma, while weak and discontinuous fluorescence was identified on a minority of sarcolemma of DMD patients with severely reduced dystrophin. There was no immunofluorescence reactivity for utrophin in sarcolemma of DMD patients with moderate decreased dystrophin,non-DMD muscular dystrophies and other 6 categories of neurological muscular diseases, nor in sarcolemma of normal biopsies. Conclusions utrophin is expressed in sarcolemma of DMD patients, who have severely reduced dystrophin simultaneously. utrophin is absent in sarcolemma of other categories of neurological muscular diseases including non-DMD muscular dystrophies with normal dystrophin expression and DMD patients with moderately decreased dystrophin.
