4.A case of neuroglia choristoma in middle ear.
Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;27(13):733-733
UNLABELLED:
A 14-year-old young man presented with a white oval mass on the right side of external auditory canal.
PHYSICAL EXAMINATION
Under ear endoscope, a size of 0.6 cm x 0.8 cm x 0.6 cm, smooth and unmovable mass was on the right side of external auditory canal. In surgery, a cystic neoplasm which is connected to neoplasm of the external auditory canal by bone defect was found in aditus of drum sinus, and local bone defect in the back wall of drum sinus. Tympanic membrane and auditory ossicle chain is complete. Postoperative pathologic findings were consistent with neuroglia choristoma. The diagnosis mainly relied on the postoperative pathological findings.

6.Aberrant breast tissue of the perineum: a report on two cases.
Young Nyun PARK ; Hyeon Joo JEONG ; Kook LEE
Yonsei Medical Journal 1990;31(2):182-186
In this abstract we report on two cases of aberrant breast tissue of the perineum in a 41-year-old and a 42-year-old woman with the complaint of a slowly growing vulvar mass. The masses were not fixed, they were ovoid, rubbery firm and measured 3 x 2.5 and 4 x 3 cm in size. Microscopically, they revealed normal lobular architecture with focal papillomatosis in the former.

Pancreatic endometrial cyst is an extremely rare instance of ectopic endometriosis that was first described by Marchevsky in 1984(1)). A 21-yr-old woman with a history of epigastric pain and weight loss was found to have a cystic lesion in the pancreas on CT-scan. Under the tentative diagnosis of a pancreatic cystic neoplasm, partial pancreatectomy was performed. Histopathological examination of the specimen revealed cystic endometriosis. The clinicopathological features of the lesion are discussed and literature concerning this extremely rare lesion is reviewed.

Yonsei Medical Journal 1988;29(3):295-299
A rare case of a heterotopic salivary gland located m and draining to the middle neck is presented and the literature is reviewed. Youngs and Scofield (1967) suggested that such glands are located mainly in the lower neck and developed by heteroplasia within a remnant of the precervical sinus of His. Clinically doctors should be attentive of the differential diagnosis of draining sinuses such as a second branchial cleft sinus in the neck. The present case is of interest because: 1) such a lesion m the middle neck is extremely rare (this to our knowledge, the third case reported in the literature), and 2) a sinugram through the opening showed an arborizing pattern suggesting the possibility of a heterotopic salivary gland rather than of a second branchial cleft sinus before surgery. This lesion can be easily cured if diagnosed correctly and especially when a sinugram made before surgery.
