To address the role of Pr1 gene in the process of Hirsutella sinensis infecting Hepialus gonggaensis, differential expression of subtilisin-like protease gene was detected. In the present study, Pr1 gene analogues from H. sinensis were obtained by PCR strategy using specific primers designed from conserved regions of Pr1 gene reported in the GenBank. Then we detected the changes in the expression of Pr1 gene before and after infecting H. gonggaensis using real-time quantitative PCR. We obtained the partial sequence of Pr1 gene with the length of 535 bp (GenBank accession: KC009680). Real-time PCR results showed that the expression level of Pr1 gene was significantly different among 8 samples (P < 0.01). Pr1 gene showed the obvious higher expression level (2-3 folds) after infecting the H. gonggaensis, suggesting that the Pr1 gene may play an important role in the process of H. sinensis infecting H. gonggaensis. The present study paves a way for further identification on infectivity assessment of H. sinensis.

【Objective】 To investigate the management of adverse reactions to blood donation(ARBD) in blood services, so as to promote the surveillance of ARBD and improve the quality of blood donation service in Chongqing. 【Methods】 A questionnaire, involving the staff and facilities in blood donation sites as well as the prevention and treatment, the record and report, the following up and data related to ARBD was developed by Chongqing Society of Blood Transfusion in February 2019, and was issued to 18 blood services(1 blood center and its sub-center, 6 central blood stations and 11 hospital blood banks) in the Chongqing via email. The questionnaire was filled in and submitted before March 31 by management personnel participating in the investigation, and the data was collected, collated, revised and analyzed by Excel 2011. 【Results】 A total 19 questionnaires were collected, with the valid rate at 100%(19/19). 78.95%(15/19) of the blood services met the requirements of medical personnel allocation(>6 medical staff) when the number of daily blood collection was more than 60, and 100%(19/19)met the requirements of medical personnel allocation(2 to 6 medical staff) when the number of daily blood collection was less than 60. 89.47%(17/19) of the blood services were equipped with epinephrine hydrochloride, and 84.21%(16/19) with dexamethasone(an anti-allergic drug). There were significant differences in the allocation of other types of drugs. 100.00%(19/19) of the blood services formulated prevention and treatment measures concerning ARBD. In 2019, the incidence of ARBD in Chongqing was reported to be 0.54%(1 958 / 359 871), with the highestas [1.35%(223/16 543)] in subcenters and the lowest [0.32%(179/56 299)] in central blood centers (P<0.05). There was statistical significances in the incidences of ARBD reported by different blood stations(P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 The monitoring and management of ARBD among blood services in Chongqing should be further standardized in terms of staffing allocation, emergency drugs allocation and reporting, so as to gradually realize regional homogenization and ensure blood safety.
5.Artery theory of channels.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2006;26(11):793-795
OBJECTIVETo probe into the reflection of "artery" phenomenon in human channels.
METHODSFind out the discussion about "artery" from ancient medical books and compare with Chinese ancient philosophy thoughts.
RESULTSIn TCM, "artery" has been used as reference in differentiating channels. The circulation system of channels is possibly established on the expectation of "to and fro circulation" in the Chinese philosophy, and the power of channels originates from the qi stored between the kidney, and the pricking blood therapy was used for treatment of many kinds of diseases in ancient times.
CONCLUSIONStudy on channels should pay attention to this link of "artery".

OBJECTIVETo investigate the dynamic changes of surfactant protein-D (SP-D) and Clara cell protein (CC16) expressions in lung tissue and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of silica-treated rats.
METHODS80 rats were randomly divided into the control group and the silica group. The silicotic animal model was established by direct tracheal instillation of silica suspension into rat lungs surgically. On 7, 14, 21, 28 and 60 d after establishment of the animal model, eight rats in each group were sacrificed and lung tissue and BALF were collected. Lung tissue chip microarray was made in different time points after the silica was injected. Expressions of SP-D and CC16 on tissue microarray were detected with immunohistochemistry and quantified by Image-Pro Plus Version 4.5 for Windows(TM); The SP-D and CC16 levels of BALF were detected with western blot and quantified by Quantity One Version 4.6.2.
RESULTSSP-D expressed very little in alveolar type II and Clara cell intracytoplasmic of control group while its expression significantly increased after 7 d in silica group (P < 0.01) and it reached the peak on the 14 d, after this SP-D expression decreased gradually. CC16 was expressed strongly in intracytoplasmic and it expressed little in nucleus of Clara cell by bronchioles of control while it significantly decreased after 7 d in silica group (P < 0.01), and CC16 expression decreased gradually with the exposed silica time, which was correlated negatively among them (r(s) = -0.967, P < 0.01). On 7 d and 28 d, the SP-D levels of BALF in silica group were significantly higher than control (P < 0.01). Furthermore the SP-D levels of BALF on 28 d was significantly elevated than that on 7 d in silica group (P < 0.01). On 7 d and 28 d, the CC16 levels of BALF in silica group were significantly lower than control (P < 0.01). Moreover, CC16 levels of BALF on 28 d was significantly decreased than that on 7 d in silica group (P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe dynamic changes of SP-D and CC16 protein expressed in lung tissue and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid could be induced by silica exposure and are related with the silica exposure time.

8.Acupuncture based on the theory of Biao and Ben.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2011;31(1):75-78
Ancient literatures on traditional Chinese medicine were retrieved, and theory of Biao (Branch) and Ben (Root) of meridians was studied from the aspect of acupuncture based on tracing of Weiqi (defensive qi). It was found that Biao and Ben were related with the gathering and dispersing of Weiqi (defensive qi) in 12 regular meridians. Therefore, observation of Weiqi (defensive qi) and tracing its running course is required before the application of acupuncture. Disease may cause migration of Weiqi (defensive qi) between Biao and Ben of meridians. Thus, points selection from Biao of meridians, Ben of meridians or both Biao and Ben can be adopted. Primary disease and secondary disease are held as the primary consideration for point selection from Biao or Ben. The idea can also be applied in treatment of complicated syndromes to clarify and simplify the situation. And during the treating process, physicians should proceed from Biao to Ben so as to conduct the anti-pathogenic qi to play its role in disease cure and health maintenance.

9.Rethink on "experiment of propagated sensation along meridian".
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2012;32(12):1135-1138
With retrieval of the ancient medical classics, the descriptions on meridians and collaterals are checked, and the different methods, way of thinking and presuppositions on experiment of propagated sensation along meridian are studied and compared in this paper. The result shows that the basic feature of meridians and collaterals is based on not the propagated sensation along meridian, but the arteriopalmus. Therefore, propagated sensation along meridian can not reflect the entity of meridian. It is the abuse of inference to conclude that the result of "experiment of progated sensation along meridian" equals to meridians and collaterals. The experimental methods are difficult to be applied on part of the meridian theory that is gained through experiences and practice. Thus, a new foothold should be taken as the basis of study on essence of meridians.

10.Analysis on theory of meridians and acupuncture manipulation based on ancient Shushu.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2009;29(10):811-815
The theories of Shushu in the literature of Qin and Han periods are reorganized and related expositions of foreign scholars are consulted, and Shushu theory is compared with the recordation in ancient medical books so as to probe into the relationship between Shushu and theory of meridians together with acupuncture manipulation. It is found that the eleven meridians system is the mathematical foundation of Five Shu Poits, Yuan-primary acupoints and the acupoints of all over the body, and which plays an important role in the theories of TCM. The exterior-interior relationship between viscera and meridians and circulation of ying-qi can be executed on the establishments of twelve meridians system. Shushu can affect needling instrument, needling methods, contraindications, etc. The construction of the meridians theory is full of philosophical dialectics, and it has certain subjectivity but does not influence the ancients to observe physiological phenomenon of viscera and meridians generally.
