The fluorescent antibody technique was applied to check the lesion of biopsy spe-cimens of 100 patients with lupus erythematosus and 50 patients with various derma-toses.Lesion and clinically normal skins of these patients were stained by the directimmunfluorescent method.The fluorescein labelled rabbit anti human IgG,IgM,IgAserums were employed.The positive rates of DLE and SLE were 80% and 88.3%res-pectively.The positive rate of LBT in clinically normal skin of SLE was 86.6%.TheLBT of various dermatoses were negative except polymorphousl light eruptionand poly-morphous erythematosus.So the LBT may be a better available diagnosis method oflupus erythematosus diseases.The LBT was also used to observe the curative effectin 12 cases of DLE.The fluorescent density of LBT was weaked in 10 cases and dis-appeared in 2 cases.In a mass survey of 10,000 persons,2 cases were found LBT posi-tive.

Experimental study was made on Glyke preparationwhich revealed certain effect in 66 cases of AIDS treat-ed in Tanzania.It has been proved that this prepara-tion not only regulates the immunity of the organism,but also possesses anti—viral action,so it is a safe andeffective Chinese traditional remedy for treating AIDS.
